Like fuck are they going to come out before the tour. I honestly, and I mean this, will buy a hat, eat it, and stream the whole thing on YouTube, if they come out within the month. Without looking they're going to both Russia and India, which are two countries that are sketchy to be openly queer in. It also would make very little sense for them to come out BEFORE the tour, what purpose would it serve? Theres nothing necessarily appropriate about the tour being about sexuality, I interpreted the CAH answer to be more about their being forfeits for 'losers' during the show.

I know sexuality is sort of more at the forefront of everyones minds after a few comments (cheeky bum sex, things going in and out of my mouth, tbf the whole of Dans last video and then the following YouNow which I actually really enjoyed) but I think that might be part of them trying to attract a more young adult audience, as opposed to tweens. Although, the strong vibe that I personally got from Dans last video is that he probably wont ever 'come out', because its not necessary. I personally never had a big 'coming out' moment - I just lived my life, and when I had a boyfriend, I had a boyfriend, and now I've got a girlfriend, I've got a girlfriend. If you ask me questions about it, I'll be honest, and I'll express frustration at being called a lesbian, but a big announcement isn't something that is needed becuase its a social construct of a 'rite of passage', which is something I am trying to actively reject in my everyday life. Back to my point, I think the biggest confrimation we will ever get from Dan is that video. Not from him saying he's having regular sex, not even from that being open to interpretation, but from the underlying message which is essentially; he's just living his life, and we need to let him live it. He's not going to hide himself, but equally he's not going to offer up every scrap of his life to be microanalysed. And who the fuck needs labels anyway, like the only labels I actively like applying to myself are vegetarian (because to me thats an active choice to live my best life), and millenial - purely because I find it amusing that we get blamed for everything. I am fully behind Dan not labelling his sexuality, because I find it very validating to my OWN personal choice, which I sometimes feel very alone in. (which is also why this video is probably my favourite Dan video of all time, next to Depression)

Do I think D&P are queer. Wholehartedly. Do I think they're together. Yes. Do I think they'll tell us pre-tour. No, because they have a fucking tour to focus on. Do I think they might tell us afterwards, yes. Esepcailly because I think they'll be moving again soon.

Something I'm more interested about is that my perception of their sexualities has inverted, for the longest time I was CONVINCED that Dan was bi, and Phil was gay. Now, and I dont know why, I'd be willing to bet money on Dan being gay and Phil being bi. I have no idea what changed that in my head, but I can't unthink it.

Fourthly; I realised that I'm meeting Dimple and Back-Egg next month, in precisely 6 weeks, I'm not ready. How am I going to look them in the eye. I'm low-key panicking about it.

I also think that the balcony where they filmed the snowball fight on (and where Dan looks outside in one of his videos) is there because you can see stone floors and the kitchen inside (I’m not sure about this one).

I don't have a strong opinion one way or another about the 2 flats theory but one thing that's confused me is in a livestream they did where they're both sat in the proper grey couch lounge Phil says he keeps forgetting to bring the glass cleaner wipes "upstairs". And I've always wondered what was upstairs?? Because like you I assumed the room they were in was the top floor of their apt.

To answer your question, the grey couch lounge seems to be on top floor of the building because of the stairs going down from the lounge and also the flat having a skylight. So the downstairs Phil mentiones can either be the first level of the penthouse (with Dan's room) or the gaming flat because it is also likely to be further down than the penthouse.

It doesn't really answer my question though because I assumed, like you have, that the that lounge is the top floor but during their liveshow while they're in that room Phil refers to an upstairs different from where they are. Unless I'm misunderstanding Phil lol. Dan says "Why are there loads of lens wipes here?" and Phil replies "It's because I keep forgetting to bring them upstairs." And then they talk about where they are saying they're not in the room with the sofa crease and Phil says "No we're in the upstairs lounge." So the grey couch lounge is definitely above (in some capacity) the sofa crease lounge but it also sounds like there's something above the grey couch lounge since Phil says he keeps forgetting to bring the lens wipes upstairs from where they currently are. Idk it's confusing which is why it's interesting lol.

To be fair there are a lot of discussions that have been previously discussed that continue to get discussed because that's the nature of a forum. The recent sexuality discussion is one of those that gets talked about often enough without much new information. And it can't be the type of thing that shouldn't be discussed because DnP would rather people didn't discuss it because the same could be said about their sexuality, right? lol

Thanks the pain from it was keeping me up at night so I had a lot of small-hours time to think (which is oddly fine by me because I'm a night owl and I'm at my most productive between 11pm and 2am)

I find it difficult to separate out my socialisation from what I actually believe. I guess what I mean is that my perception of Dans specific sexual preferences have changed for the reasons you have highlighted, because I am now struggling to recall the last time he mentioned being attracted to a female. Which I've been socialised into seeing as being gay. Even though, with my sociology hat on, I realise is an extremely reductionist and essentialist view and that just because someone is mentioning one thing a lot atm, that doesn't negate everything that went before. I think right now he's more free and I should celebrate that, because his attitude toward his sexuality is more reflective of my actual belief. Also I am aware that this is none of my business because I'm not currently, and never will be, having sex with Dan so it will literally never affect me, but I find his development captivating. I think my perception of their sexualities changing is to do with this captivation, and even though I know my previous post was contradictory, I do ultimately believe that labels are unnecessary and I try and embody that in my everyday life.

Also - I cant stop thinking about WHY THE FUCK Delia Smith was part of Dans old branding? Like Delia Smith is amazing and her christmas cake recipe is awesome, and my mum refers to her Delia cookbook as 'the Gospel according to Delia' but why the fuck was it a key part of his branding? What the fuck was going through his head
