Dan does this a lot. In the overcooked video phil told him to tone it done and that he would give instructions and dan took that to another level and was like "I will not say a single thing or move from this very spot until you tell me exactly what to do." So like in this ls phil tells him "shush" and dan being dan takes that very seriously and will literally not speak until phil tells him to again. He is king at throwing toddler tantrums.

Ok it seems that we got audio and video sorted thanks to @rizzo so now everyone gotta play the waiting game for riz to upload the file, me to download it, and then my piece of crap laptop (jk i love you bae just not for editing) to edit and render that shit.

Do you ever just have the impulsive urge to go buy one of those big multi-picture photo frame set that you're supposed to put like, family pictures or some shit in, and then just fill it all with Dan and Phil things that give you a feeling of secondhand satisfaction even though it's not your life or your relationship but like when you stare hard enough at it you just feel So Good and you feel like that deserves to be immortalized on your walls and who cares if your family and friends are confused as to who all these strangers are what no just me okay never mind.

Rize overheats my phone and drains the battery but I actually like how it only displays one comment at a time, so you can see what they’re reading. I also didn’t hate the pulling people onto the screen part at all. Dan seemed genuinely nervous to do it (don’t blame him) but it went alright! I wouldn’t mind if they did it again! (At least you can choose not to be pulled up).

ETA: I also find it really interesting to see how they interact with fans. Obviously they have a lot of experience but I feel like they’re really good with freaking out fans. The second girl who got pulled up seemed pretty freaking out, and I thought they interacted with her was skillful and so nice. I don’t know why I found it interesting to see their interactions with the fans but it did.

The photos from today are so lovely. Yes I do kind of want to print them out and frame them on the wall hahah.

I AM OVERWHELMED WITH CONTENT.

I woke up this morning and my phone notifications were just tweet after tweet of Dan and Phil photos and I was so confused until I got to the oldest notification, which was them announcing they'd be going on Rize. I swear, they were either trying to cover up the Rize announcement so as not to overload the app, or they just figured a lot of fans (like me) were going to pout about missing the liveshow because of timezones and decided to mollify us with vacation photos. I'm not complaining. I'm not complaining at all.

All of my thanks to those of you who recorded the stream! I tried screen recording about 10 seconds of a Rize stream the other day just to test it out and my phone felt like I'd left it sitting on the dashboard in the sun for an hour.

Those pictures and stories added five years to my life. Great photo of Phil, lovely nature content, Cornelia is a sweetheart, Martyn is wearing a Cornelis Vreeswijk shirt and all is good in the world

And I guess no one is surprised that Dan made a BDE joke in reference to Phil. Looking forward to seeing the ls when it's ready!
