Phil's video put a smile on my face immediately. He's a great storyteller, imo.

I'm a lot more pleased that they're hanging out with Cat (and hopefully appearing in one of her vlogs) than I would normally be (I have nothing against her, I just wouldn't watch a video of hers unless Deppy were in it). Just thirsty af for content, I guess.

Phil the ladies man is at it again ;) Also love to see a return of Phoug :D Keep an eye on Doug's second channel, he daily vlog Playlist so we may get to see at least 1 Playlist vlog

By the way that bed tweet is just an insurance for any future leak info that they were seen sharing the bed; watching Buffy together will be a valid reason.

I haven't caught up with the whole thread, but i want to post this now before everyone has moved on if that hasn't already happened. I swear, keeping up with this forum is practically impossible, i don't know how you do it :o

I liked Phil's video. The story was cute and i don't mind the merch. There were confusing parts that didn't really make sense, but i think he just worded them weirdly.
And i think the lighting makes him look more tired than usual (he probably was tired from jetlag, but hopefully not enough to look as tired and sickly as he did).
fakelights wrote:People will still speculate and doubt you, even more if you make this kind of statement. If you are only friends, act like friends! If more and don't want others to know, don't say anything. It's just worse if you do argh.
Excuse me, but i see this sometimes and get defensive, because how do friends behave? Or should i say how are friends SUPPOSED to behave? Every relationship is different (and by relationship i don't neccessarily mean romantic) and unless they make out in public or say publicly that they are a couple, their behaviour says nothing about the nature of their relationship. Hell, i've had friends who i've held hands with and partners i hardly ever touched in public.

And most importantly: It is not their job to portray their relationship so that nobody gets the wrong idea. They have said often that phan isn't real. That we don't believe it (most of us) and speculate is fine, but it's not their problem IMO.

And how is their merch even couple-y? Are they standing too close together? They both had to be on the shirt, logically, would it have been ok if they were printed on the opposite sides? I don't get how that would be seen as misleading. Same with the japhan anniversary. I wouldn't call that a couple thing. So i guess my point is that "couple-y" behaviour is a subjective term.

Obviously all of you have a right to your opinion and if this is how you perceive them then that's fine, but i just want to point out that just because you perceive something as couple behaviour doesn't mean it actually is.

This ties into the shipbaiting debate. Unless we assume they play up their relationship (and most of us agree that they are probably more touchy in private, because they used to be when there weren't so many people watching) i don't have a problem.

To the fake tweets:
Frankly, i don't care how much they lie to hide their relationship or to seem more platonic to the public. It's their right to hide.
I'd only mind if they were lying to hide that they are bad people

Just finished catching up on 7 pages, wow, keep it going guys. Can't believe I miss all the bus talk.

Anyway, Phil's vid. I love everything about it except the merch spon at the beginning because I wasn't expecting it to be the first thing. Phil bringing his pillow feel #relatable to me because I did the same when I go on vacation. There is always a pillow that I bring so I can have a little piece of home with me.

My interpretation of the phone thing :
Phil's phone not working the night before is most probably dead battery, and I heard iphone take ages to boot up again, so it might be that. (or not, because I don't have an iphone. )

So Philly book a London cab that night using Danny's phone. That morning, he thought the cab is downstairs but totally not (so relatable), locked himself up means he shut the door behind him and automatically locked outside.
That doll is super creepy, I will definitely think of conjuring if I were Phil and won't be able to get any sleep at all. Love the Florida background. :D
Hope we get more of Phil story telling in this two months.

Jesus Christ. Really Tyler? No words.

In better news, they're at Universal with all the other youtubers (which is where they were when Evan vlogged the iconic Dan-licking-ice-cream-in-the-background shot). EVERYBODY'S VLOGGING IT this is not a drill. So much background appearances to look forward to yay.

Also from Ricky Dillon's snapchat:

 Is that Dan in the background? He looks like a cardboard cutout.

He also tweeted this in response to someone:
As phan trash I appreciate that his attitude that he wouldn't reblog that because it's none of anyone's business/it's intrusive, as opposed to just stating that it doesn't matter because neither couple is real.

I don't think I've expressed myself in the right way, I'm sorry. That's not what I meant. The only thing I had in mind was that they over-do the 'we are just friends' thing when it's not necessary. I absolutely don't think there is a right way to behave as friends or whatever, just that they don't seem to be natural about it. I tried to summarise my annoyance and it came out wrong.

And yes, they have every right to lie about their personal lives. I truly don't care much about it and don't always expect the (whole) truth from them. It just bothers me sometimes how they get out of their way to explain things, which I think they shouldn't need to. They don't need to explain every step they take etc.

And oh jesus, now I read it again and the "you're going down Danny" sounds sooo inappropriate
That's the way I read it -- sneaky serious innuendo

How do you accidentally reblog something....I'll admit idk much about tumblr even though I have one myself but when you push reblog doesn't something pop up first to ask if you want to tag it? Then you have to confirm it again or something?

Ummm would it not have been better to NOT put a period before the person's name? Now he's making sure that EVERYBODY on his timeline sees that (and therefore the original post). Good to know it was an accident but don't call more attention to it. Ugh.

edit: Well he fucking deleted that too.
Tyler. Think about what you're posting for two more seconds before doing it.

Yeah alright, how the heck would you accidentally reblog that? I think you can only post straight to your dash by alt+click, otherwise the thing with options and stuff pops up and you'd see what you're reblogging.

Did anyone catch what @otheroakley tweeted that he replied to? Seems like they deleted it pretty quickly. Also it's definitely possible to accidentally reblog on the tumblr app, if you press and hold the reblog button for a couple of seconds it reblogs without needing any further confirmation or anything, so probably that? I've definitely done that by accidentally leaving my finger resting on the button while distracted by something else

Thanks! Wow, he is backpedalling so hard. He should've deleted the reblog and left it at that, I guess. Acknowledging it probably going to make things worse, but not acknowledging it probably(?) gonna make angry if he knows the truth and accidentally outed them (given phan is real, of course)

Yes, agree. Wether they are together or not, their attempts to look platonic (or what society expects platonic friends to look like) often look a bit unnatural to me, too.

(My post wasn't even directed at you specifically by the way. It's just a thought i've been having )

On Cat's snapchat; the latest pic showed they survived after all. There is a new group photo at the T-Rex.

On the pillow thing in Phil's video; I think he brought along an extra pillow sheet and bought a pillow. It makes sense as he might want a comfy pillow for the bus, and damn hygienic too.
