When I was accompanying a celebrity shopping, I made sure we made an appointment with the boutique/shop owner and went there when the shopping crowd has yet to start. If not done that way, a half hour ordeal will take us hours due to fan encounters and the celeb just can't say no or there will be backlash.

I think the crew spends a lot of time both before and after the show at the venues setting up and striking the set, equipment, and merch tables. Probably more convenient for them to stay in Milwaukee than rushing back to Chi-town. Perhap D&P split back to Chicago to spend their day off (no offense Milwaukee, but I'd rather be in Chicago too.) I do admire how professional Martyn & Cornelia are, they are family but when it comes to work they don't mix it. I also feel M&C are great at keeping the staff morale high at least the merch team, and it would not surprise me might "sponsor" their fun trips.
