I agree, the rooms were most likely booked by their publisher considering they're the ones who organized the event. I worked in hotels, companies like that aren't gonna be cheap about their 'stars' by booking only one room. And usually people only use the mini bar if it's already included in the room price or someone else is paying for it and I hope Dan isn't so dumb to down a 5 dollar bottle of water if he had to pay for it himself. Events like Vidcon don't automatically book them one room either, they probably ask D&P whether they'd be fine with that due to limited hotel space or D&P request it (like that time Dan jokingly requested an expensive bottle of whiskey and actually got it lol.)

Probably one of the few older dnp fans around. I'm 33 and was introduced to these guys by my 11yr old back in 2015. Finally nice to find a place with mature conversation about the guys lol.

Right ok, so I went looking for a tweet where Dan said that he had jokingly requested an expensive bottle of whiskey in his room for Vidcon and that he actually got it. But I can't find it anywhere and now I'm really beginning to doubt my sanity wtf.

I remember photo and some kind of twitter convo in the lines that he twitted that at the vidcon registration/hotel reception he recieved a card that said "if you want something to make your stay even more pleasant write it here" (paraphrasing)he jokingly requested a bottle of expensive tequila and actually found it in his room. Someone of his youtube friends asked if it will be party at his room and he said that he is waiting for Anthony to drink it.
It should be Vidcon 2013 or earlier cause i found a fanfic from 2013 with this tequila request mentioning.

Well aside from my mind replacing tequila with whiskey apparently (wtf brain?) but either way I still can't much about it :') It must've been 2013 if that fanfic is right, at first I thought of 2014 as well but I guess that's not it and I'm absolutely certain it wasn't 2012. So it must've been Vidcon 2013 (Playlist does not havethe budget for freebie tequila like that lmao) and now I'm mad at Dan again for deleting his old tweets and making me doubt myself. I'll send him the bill for my additional week of therapy.

Yeah I had a look for the tweet myself by guessing what he might've said, but no luck. If anyone has a screencap of it or anything that'd be fab I'm intrigued now
Mostly I'm just super surprised vidcon actually gave him it, but I don't blame him at all for requesting something ridiculous as a joke cause that seems just like him really

Also, loving the higher quality calendar pics, very surprised they went so all out with the crossdressing and stuff, they seriously have a lot of weird costumes now

This tequila story is hilarious. I wonder how often they push their luck with things like that, red-carpet outfits spring to mind though I suppose looking good is part of the job and at a basic level we benefit from drooling over them too. I hope they're not really spoilt divas, anyway. I'd ask why tequila, I hear it tastes awful, but that black bottle he was given for his birthday is coffee-flavoured, so double-yuck :wtf:
