i always seem to miss the radio show bc i'm mentally memory challenged and forget it's on every 1st monday so i haven't watched it in ages but i think this is a good time to end it, not that it's dragging on but it's had a good run over the years and tbh what i caught of the other youtubers takeover slots just dragged it down.

knowing d&p they've probably already got something else lined up or planned

Helloo, I promised myself I would post here everyday so people wouldn't forget me, but unfortunately I spent the whole day yesterday in bed watching videos and Disney and drag queens (not together, unfortunately). And then tonight I had a dream this thread had closed already because so many people were posting, and I thought it would be better if I came back.

i do honestly believe that he likes interacting with us though. like we're fun when we're not being creepy and stalkery! like it or not, not many fandoms have the power to ruin YT comments quite like we do, and that's not about numbers/views 100k people are behind that and that's not a huge number to someone like felix. and i do also think he just likes *them* in like a really simple, human way

Or he's trolling Deppy personaly, you know, inviting us as a fandom to ruin his comments, or something. Or maybs he wants to promote them, because they are his friends and he likes their videos. Either way, I live for fangirl Felix, so I find these moments hilarious.

Maybe he's nobly sacrificing the comments section to the "Protip" comments to keep the off other people's videos?

Pewds has been having quite a lot of deppy bits in his videos lately, some of them have been a bit out of place, I gotta admit. With his personality I think he just likes to fuck with the phandom, there's no real use for him to use them as a bait to get views.

Not really that sad about the radio show, I think it's seen it's best days and they've given the impression that it's started to become a drag for D&P. I do hope they continue doing things for BBC, we've gotten quite a lot of fanservice-y deppy moments from them.

Also from the UK and my school did have a reunion (which I couldn't go to because I was out of the country/didn't really want to go to and conveniently had a great excuse) and from what I gathered a group of people I'd went to school with organised it themselves. So I think in the UK it just depends if anyone in your school year cares enough put the effort into organising one.

The Pewds D&P inclusion was beyond random, what do they have to do with Mountain Dew? His fangirl-ish moments give me life, though.

i enjoy these moments, too! and the response in the comments seems to be really positive, which is the simplest reason why he might be doing them more. like it's fun, everyone's having fun, it's mutually beneficial - maybe it's really as simple as that

He even turned them off at one point, didn't he? You can still find both in there, but not nearly as much. But lately, at least under the D+P ones, I've mostly seen the phandom talking about him being "one of us" and well - a lot of PROTIP now, but that's a convo in itself.

Maybe that's why he's doing it? I remember the coments under 7sc, bros were really mean even about deppy. Maybe Pewds is annoyed by that, so he'd much rather have the generally nice phandom in his comments rather than toxic bros/just wants to rub it in haters faces that he likes them and that they can go f*ck themselves.

Back when I watched Felix a lot, I remember he was very sensitive (as in it annoyed him to no end) to people leaving spam/hate comments on his vids as he wanted the comments section to be a nice environment for the bro community in which everybody talked about his content. By adding in his vids, he is inviting the phandom to spam his vids tho... I haven't watch the vids but I assume the top comments are phans mentioning they saw the guys.

I do think though that marketing wise the phandom is one if not the best support in the whole of youtube. I mean how many weeks has tabinof been in the ny times sellers in comparison to pewds book that didn't sell as much considering he literally has 4 times more subscribers than all channels combined, which is why I think he migth want to attract the phandom not only for views but to sell his stuff more.

Yeah, you can still see the videos where the comments section were turned off. I remember it being a big deal, because he was like the most subscribed youtuber. And there's even a react video of youtubers reacting to felix's explanation of why he turned it off.

I definitely don't think he wants to f*ck/troll with the phandom. He seems to genuinely like dnp, and majority of the phandom that i saw really likes him as well. Especially since a lot of people who like phan really like melix (marzia and felix) as well. And DnP speak highly of him and marzia. Pewds probably knew it and wants to return the favor?
