Dan & Phil Part 18: disgustingly & inappropriately cute

the breakfast bar bit was lovely
but I'm loving the last bit when they went "we need to start planning our wedding soon" and "pile up that cash" first. lol can't wait to see what people do with that out of context.

I enjoy Dil videos and obviously love pretty much everything put out, but somehow, after this longggg break, I feel strangely detached. Like I'm watching and can't quite get into it. I suppose it'll come back in time, but I missed their vids so much, I'm surprised that I'm not freaking out from joy at seeing a new one.

Anyone else feel like this?

Can't say I do. They are still doing the same shtick and i'm not complaining

I'm usually not the biggest fan of their sims vids, but i thought they acted quite relaxed and you can see that all the touring made them even more fluent in the bantz.

We're all terrible.

It amuses me how Dan in particular acts more camp nowadays. Phil's level of campiness has remained stagnant at around 40 percent, while Dan's increases by about 10 percent each Sims video.

I'm trying so hard not to be but I am completely right now. there are far too many parallels between them for me to not be hurt by this. having to sit through twenty minutes of the two of them acting like giddy children over proposing and planning a wedding is too much for my trash heart. I'm so excited to watch them plan it out and how they react to it all and I usually hate dil videos tbh.
all in all I'm very happy with the new video not only was it content but it was EXCITING content for me personally.
loved the bit about the breakfast bar as well. my mind went to dark places I'm glad I wasn't the only one

Aye. If anything good came from this drought it's that Phil increased his sass and Dan increased his camp

I fully expect their next tour to be a transgender beauty competition that travels from one home of the elderly to the next.

Does anyone who actually plays Sim's know where they screwed up ordering the food? The mains they selected were like $30 each and the starters $20ish and then there total bill was $56 so it wasn't a big surprise when only the desserts and wine showed up they clearly messed up the ordering part somehow.

Well that was fun. Probably just the break, but it felt extra-expressive especially from Dan (love his husky voice). Can't believe Dil lost his trousers, that should only happen if you download things and then delete the file. Such detail and humour in that fancy food too, might spring for that expansion sometime. Maybe with ordering the food it only actually chose the last thing they clicked.

and yeah what was that breakfast bar conversation, what's the not sex related way i was suppose to interpret that?

i love how they decided to include that even when they didn't explain wtf were they on about

dan's voice 'broke the sound barrier' at least 5 times during this episode

and as usual when it comes to romance in the sims, i am impressed by their ability to not make any comments whatsoever about their own dating lives (be it phan, or anti-phan, or anything really), i wish i could watch the unedited footage of this episode, there was some interesting jump cuts

I don't even know where to begin! I should make a timestamps of things I find interesting but I am a lazy person at heart so that's not gonna happen, so this is a jumble mess of a post.

Dilitha is back and on the right lane to forever. I don't know why I feel like this but I am convinced that Deppy elope and get married at Vegas on Dan's birthday.

The breakfast bar. Truth be told, when Phil thought it's romantic to eat together at the breakfast bar, my first thought go straight to that picture in Tabinof where Dan climb/lay down on the bar.

Also, Phil thought pancakes breakfast are romantic.

Dil's pastel suit jacket give me life. I thought they are going to fix the trousers right then and there but they didn't. so them.

I also love the idea of the date went wrong (the ordering, the outfit, the pancakes) but Tabitha still says yes at the end. It is so romantic and cheesy and I wanna read a fic like that. Gimme.

Lol I made the EXACT same error with ordering the courses in the expansion pack as they did so it's not actually that clear you can only order one course. Imo, anyway. I actually think they're very diligent (geddit?) Sims players, much more than most, and I think they're really good at the game. They focus on Dil's skills and hobbies and doing normal things and ensure all his needs are met, I love that they always have him go to bed and shower when he gets up and seem to enjoy roleplaying with the whole town, creating backstories and it's just lovely to watch them play.

My game literally exists of them and a town full of celebrities, all motherloded up the wazoo with 3984789434 kids each and every so often when I'm bored, I shut random neighbours in the basements and have them have more babies and wall up the pizza delivery guy and watch him pee himself.

So they're doing pretty good really lol.

LOVED the video, I missed them so much
