doesn't bother me since 1) i've always slept with my earrings/plugs in and 2) if i took them out at night i definitely would never remember to put them back in

however, i'd just like to point out that in the stories phil's light source is from the left (right in the mirrored footage) and dan's is from the right (left in the mirrored footage)....not the sides of the bed they're known to sleep in but definitely leaves the possibility (and obvious to people like me) that they're sharing the bed.

Same. I'm all there for his little fireside chats in the bed. He is just so beautiful, it's torture.

Unsurprisingly the sleeping situation has drawn a lot of attention Some people seem to take this as an indication that "they don't care anymore". I've read people who saw Dan's phone reflected in Phil's eyes or who said the sheets were raised and that you could see their feet on the the edges of the picture.
I don't see any of that. I think eye reflections are mostly a Rorschach test. The image just isn't clear enough to say anything with confidence but for what it's worth, the only thing i spot is the light of the phone they are filming the stories with.
Dan's uploaded IG stories make it seem more likely to me that they are sleeping separately - on balance of probabilities.
This is what I noticed:
- The way the light reflects from that light source, and taking into consideration the shadow of his hand, i would expect to see a shadow of phil's head or hair or pillow. He would have to lie really really flat to not project a shadow there.
-It would seem odd to me that Dan would just start shouting in bed at that hour if Phil would have been laying next to him.

Let's hope they keep the frequent posts up

they both posted around the same time, so had phil been laying next to him, as i assume is true, that wouldn't be very disr

@admins: i had extreme difficulty posting this as anytime i typed it was recommending that i mention myself and any time i pressed enter (after many attempts at refreshing and different potsts) it automatically made me mention myself and wouldn't just let me make a new paragraph....any idea why?

That's a fair point. imo, there's no indications yet though that they sleep together, while we do have instagram stories from both of their pov from bed. Which would take some particular angles to start with to avoid putting the other person in a shot.

BTW I have had similar issues posting. There's something off with the "mention" functionality. When i use it, sometimes it just refuses to go away and keeps suggesting names at every letter i type.

I'm in need of tour spoilers! Not true, hardcore spoilers, but baby ones. Flashing lights are a HUGE migraine trigger for me. I need to know if this show is going to be flashy with those neon lights. (Or just flashy in general) If someone could either a)PM me if they know or b)direct me to someplace with the answer? Just so I can know how prepared to be. I don't wanna be at my show and just start barfing from pain.

the IG stories don't really prove anything painfully obvious.
they could be sleeping apart, they could not. who knows?
we don't even know who booked the hotels.
but i will say that judging from the videos, the lamp that's beside dan isn't on
(the front camera is flipped) and then in the second video, you can see where the light is coming from again, opposite side of dan.
which happens to also match the lighting in phil's story, showing that his own bed side light was on.
this could mean anything really, but since i believe they're in a long-term, committed relationship, it's not surprising if they're sleeping together.

I hope people wear themselves out of thinking every night time insta story has to prove they're in the same bed or mean something, and I hope the people who get their panties in a twist over that also wear themselves out of trying to use every insta story to prove they're not in the same bed. Individually neither would bother me but that being the dominating convo every time they post at night is gonna get old fast.

Like, there was really not enough conversation last night about Phil's deep sleepy night time voice. How weirdly intimate did that ig story sound? He wasn't saying anything intimate, but with the shirtless and the close up angle and the voice it still had that touch to it.

I noticed his voice too, mainly that it was deep and baritoney and that gets me every time.

I don’t really care about the beds, I care about the clavicles. Rude of Instagram to hide Dan’s last night. Deep voices are nice too. I didn’t even think that the puppy filter was silly, it suited Phil and I loved the little twitchy ending. He’s precious.

People (not idb) really need to remember that just because the media shows most couples sharing beds that does not mean it's required or as common as shown. A lot of couples don't for many reasons (snoring, sleep schedules, comfort etc). Helena Bonham Carter had a separate house to her partner! It's all about what works.
Depending on the hotels they could have one room to a suite. If Dan really is such a night owl with pacing and Wikipedia odysseys I'd want my own bed or a lounge to exile him to.

And if that wasn't enough to convince people - When Dan and Phil changed their clothes in the moon room in "Giving People What they Want" neither of them had shoes in their hands when they were holding the pile of clothes but they both came out of the moon room wearing full outfits.

oh boy, im but a simple child, i was quite satisfied with their ig stories and of course i had enjoyed the first couple minutes of the "sleeps in the same bed" discussion...but it grew old quite fast as soon as a couple people took it seriously. it was fun joking around entertaining my ~inner demons~ by drawing a shitty fanart and reblogging shit posts about them sleeping tgt for about 5 seconds but seeing people tear limb from limb on each other at tumblr(dot)coms is kinda tiresome. tho im not saying its bad to have these discussions, so long as it stays lighthearted or within reason, its fine.
