Tbh, I think they're cheap 10 euro sunglasses. They don't look expensive at all. Also, sunglasses are small and usually pretty brittle, so I can't imagine a 400 euro pair being tossed around the tour bus, the hotels and other places. You can break them or lose them.

i don't think so, why would they spend money for their employee to have fun? If these people have been with IRL ltd for a long time and they treat the US tour as an oversea work-trip, then sure, but paying contract workers or temps to have company trip is just not reasonable at all.

I see that they have some allowance, probably cover some meal or transport, but that's it.

I don't think so, all those high street brands do high end knock offs all the time, companies like HM, zara, they take high end design to china/southeast asia to manufacture knock offs, and then the factory usually make brandless extra to bulk sale to smaller retailers, like the second website there.

After an shameful but throughout analysis of both pictures, I'm 99% sure they're cheap, inspired sunglasses just like the ones aralik posted. Some of the high-end versions under the spoiler (not exactly the same to avoid IP laws, but similar enough to be knock-offs):

No but I'd like to know as well. That's a ridiculously terrible thing to do, but unless this person knows Dan personally I can't imagine what information they would have...

I've not heard anything about this, and I'm not sure if I believe this. Like Dan has said, people on the internet lie.

If someone is trying to do this, than I hope that Dan goes to the cops and sues their ass off.

Just because it's a "statement piece", doesn't mean it has to be made by Dior. These sunglasses are very popular atm. You can be rich or poor, losing or breaking expensive sunglasses breaks your heart a bit, especially if you like it.

But like unless this person had proof I wouldn't actually believe any of those things. And it'd have to be VERY solid proof that had no chance of being photoshopped or faked. So honestly all Dan has to do is deny it and we will all believe him unless it's super solid proof.

Anyway, Lucet, I was joking, what I meant was if Dan think it's a statement piece he won't lose it otherwise he won't look cool all the time. I don't know, i just think he's rich enough to throw actual 400 dollars around let alone a pair of sunglasses. Also I think he take care of his personal items fine? I think these sunglasses are the same as his, but just in another colour. They are described as unisex, so my guess is that the ones he has could also be in a men's (or unisex) section. I don't think he necessarily bought them from the women's section (it is of course possible though).

I agree, they could go either way, but I think they're very Dan and although they may look a little small on him I think they match his style and it makes sense he got them.

I'm pretty sure I one found the Twitter account who sent the emails. I went though their account and apparently this person and a few other people sent a total of 36 emails to Dan, 3-4 from each person. They are saying that everyone gave Dan a second chance but didn't give Sam Pepper one? I don't get that part to be honest... Also Some how they managed to get photos of Dan's brother from a group chat? However, the other person involved in this, who's Twitter account is @ pabloislester has been trolling the phandom for weeks. They posted a 10 mintue video on YouTube listing reasons why they are leaving the phandom and ripped up TABINOF. And then proceed to buy it again and cut it up. Get this, they still interact with the phandom even though they "left".
To be honest, they seem like they're all bluffing but know someone who managed to get private photos from one of Dan's brother private accounts. If anyone's personal info is being leaked, it would be his brothers, not Dan's.
