I don't think it actually has any significance at all (at least as far as I know), I just know he's had it for a few years and I think it looks nice on him, in a cosy way. Unless there is a deeper significance to it, does anyone know?
Afternoon tea cakes thought: They didn't say, but I would've guessed they probably went with someone else to a place like that. The picture Phil shows though has two of each kind of cake on the tray, and he says (twice) "they were each" - does that mean one of each for both of them? (There's usually one of each thing per person at teas I've been to, but that does seem like a lot.) Were they potentially there just the two of them? I mean, there could've been other trays too or something.

Yeah I have to admit I was pretty surprised he didn't make sure to clarify they were with other people. They always do that. While I still wouldn't be surprised to hear they went with people... at this point I won't be surprised to find out that they didn't, either.

I need to weigh in on the Neigh: The Horse Prince is not going to cultivate Dan's "edgy male" followers; I literally had to browse something else while listening to the bants (I switched back to look at the twisted fetlock though.) I don't like to hate on their gaming choices, but Not my favorite game.
I think Dan tries to cultivate his edgy male followers on his own channel not the gaming one! Although I don't see anything in either channel that will achieve that end anyway.
Horse video: yeah I'm starting to realise that it's not that it is weird or bizarre but just plain boring. I do find it very entertaining however that Dan and Phil are basically role playing as lovers and reading the speeches of Susan and the horse boyfriend out to each other. Now how's that for character development
When he put the hoodie on I agree he did look cosy, but before that when he held it up to the camera I could see all the bobbles on it and was like 'ugh, chuck it' (I don't remember seeing it in other videos... I tend to remember Phil's snazzy shirts more.) Speaking of shirts, I loved the flamingo one, I thought it was adorable and it's probably a great icebreaker! (you can't spell 'flamingo' without 'flaming'...) that was awful sorry
P.S. I'm on team #HitMeWithYourHooves. Haha no but seriously, I love the humour and the satirical twist on Japanese dating sims, plus I'm in it for Phil's excitement and their seemingly genuine enjoyment of the game. I feel like there are more opportunities for them to be weird, and Weird Phil is my favourite Phil. The gameplay where they're feeding him carrots/he's leaping on treadmills is my least favourite part of it though - not challenging at all and it stops it from being a perfect app game for me. I'm enjoying the vids though. I hope the humour (or 'Hyuuma') doesn't get old too fast.

That was a lovely liveshow. I love bubbly phil. Love all the choices made about the clothes. I especially love the flamingo shirt, it really suits him
Also love the oscar party retelling. I still can't get over Phil in blanket with his hands in fists. :squeal:
Also happy that Phil is happy with his teeth the way it is because I have weird teeth that makes me feel self conscious too.
Overall, phil is lovely. Dan's cameo is and I am a happy plant getting enough sunshine until the next liveshow/video
Finally I can see arm and grey sweatpants, bloody hell my eyes deceived me, not as if I wanted to see anything else.
Phil's blue hoodie just really looks cute on him, he wore it in a bit of the Story of Tatinof when they were getting into the car and he also had his glasses on, he just looks lovely in that bit. It's a good colour.

Didn't everyone always speculate that whenever Dan covered up the camera during liveshows when he stood up to get something that it was because he wasn't wearing trousers? :')

Thanks for the pictures I was so against him donating that hoodie because I looove the way it looks on him. I mostly have strong associations with it through the little glimpse in tatinof documentary and the best friend quiz #2 video which is one of my favourites
I also think that shade of light blue looks particularly fetching on him
Edit: I too saw it as sweatpants and arm skin and I don't really think Dan risked walking in without trousers since the blanket isn't that long and he knew he was going to pop in beforehand.

If I had more time, I'd do a frame-by-frame analysis, but upon further (cursory) examination, I'm inclined to believe it is, in fact, his arm. I base this on previous evidence of thicc-er thighs, and this rather skinny presentation of limb. And I so wanted to believe in the black boxer briefs. I fear I am descending into an abyss of ....
