I have no problem calling them boyfriends because I don't think they need to keep confirming their relationship status over and over. The things they say and do speak loud and clear to me - I need no further confirmation. However, I do like partners more, and I'm still crying over Dan's "companions through life".

Anyway - Martyn is in the US too! Lester family roadtrip? (as in, two Lesters and one unofficial Lester? Maybe Cornelia too, I hope she feels well enough to go.)

Hmm I don’t buy bananas at Target, but in grocery stores they are sold by the bunch. I think I cracked the lady’s honey complaint. At continental breakfasts they usually have those little plastic single serving jams with the peel off top, they made honey versions too, think dipping at McDonalds or ever worse the tiny squeezable ketchup type packets at KFF. Often those things aren’t even real honey. Honey is one food that doesn’t need to be “fresh” it doesn’t really go bad unless it crystallizes. But she could have been complaining that it wasn’t natural or local. Truly an important mystery.

Ugh I just was thinking about how both of their profile pics on twitter are now not only complimentary but also assisted by the other and I'm just...ugh they have me super soft today and it's wonderfully awful. Really interested to see how the next few days go social media-wise though as vidcon starts tomorrow!

Even though I think Dan made the nature of his relationship with Phil clear in his video, I personally feel uncomfortable using terms other than those that Dan used in his video because it feels like I'm putting words in his and Phil's mouths. When describing dan and phil's relationship to other people outside the phandom, I like to combine all the terms in one sentence "Dan's soulmate/roommate of 9 years/best friend/business partner". Because then people without any more context get the idea.

When I am in the fandom, I said "boyfriend" or "husband" when I want to be cheeky. But only in phandom discourse.

I've lived with my SO for 4 years, been together for 5 years, and I was in the hospital last week and they asked who was coming in pre-op with me and both me and my SO struggled to come up with a word. Just gave each other blank looks like "can we get out of this?" Literally avoided the question. Just said "That's ____"[SO's name] The most we'll call one another is statistically significant other or sooometimes partner since we do have some businesses together.

Friends, I cannot overstate how much I LOVE John. I'm a serious John stan and I'm so happy I discovered him through deppy. I love his videos, streams, and just overall John. So to see them still keep in touch after all these years, especially now, is so so amazing to me. I'm sighing happily here and hoping they had the best time.
The fact that Phil used rainbow letters for Dan and John is like the cherry on top of this.

Was watching the Miracle Berry challenge with Phil and Tyler, and Phil is wearing the same shirt (but fully buttoned and with a fringe).

Does anyone wonder what subreddits dan and Phil subscribe to? Obviously they prefer to keep their reddit profiles on the DL, so it wouldn’t be cool to go searching for them, but I do wonder if they comment/post incognito?
