It wouldn't surprise me though if they do go to the dentist together. I mean they do so many things together already what is one more
Since they moved to London together, it'd make a certain amount of sense if they were registered with the same GP/Dentist etc. Going for a check-up with both would be common sense prior to the tour too (in fact, I bet it's part and parcel of it, if not demanded by something businessy/insurance related) and the ear molds were definitely tour-related, so makes sense they'd go together.

RE: Sunday Times article - I keep hearing things about it, and that it wasn't the, ummm... friendliest of write-ups. Is the whole thing available to read somewhere?
You can't read the full articles on the Times website unless you pay the subscription, but I think someone posted screenshots of it back on 'the site that cannot be named' just after it came out? Haven't been able to find it but it was definitely there, there's just too many threads to look through :?

I pretend to have a life for a week and now there's 50 pages to catch up to. Damn, it's good to see so many familiar people :-)

I enjoyed phil's liveshow. To bad he kept his lips sealed about what new stuff is in the tour. Just going by all the humming and whistling they're doing I'm gonna guess there's some new songs :D

I'm not sure what to think of the cancelled radio show. It was was to be expected with the US tour and it already got scaled back. So it was sort of dwelling in radioland limbo anyway, but i hope this doesn't shut to much doors for them. I'd liked the radio show, I liked the gaming documentary and I hope to see more of it.

Pewdiepie is just being a clever troll. He fucked us, just with the tip though, because he's a pro ;-) I don't know if there are any other fandoms out there on youtube that can garner your vid a few hundred thousands views in a few hours to make it trend.
that said, i think he's mostly using D&P in a good natured way. I feel they all benefit from it.
I'm a simple man: i hear them mentioned in a video, i click the video and watch :-)

Thank you!
The who? Dan (right) and Phil — their in-jokes and “like” patois are all but impenetrable to anyone over the age of 25
Oh... Fuck you, Mr Writer. I already dislike you. First bloody line of the article.

*edit* - finished reading it now. My opinion ain't changed. :gg: Did somebody go in with a set agenda maybe?

LOL, Probably more the biggest PHANgirl. He's got 43 Million+ subscribers and 11.6 Billion views, so views from our humble little phandom are probably chump change to him.

Conspiracy theory: maybe as their biggest phangirl he's trying to increase their viewers/subscribers (and eventually encourage them to come out publicly)
He's also in fact the secret identity of dinofvyou1 *x-files theme in the backround*
Really creepy fact about your comment is that, before even reading your comment, the X-files theme was already in my head Help, I'm scared

i mean, if they knew, i definitely don't think they read everything regularly. i don't want them to, it's not exactly healthy, especially if they're self-conscious. the conversation here, while nicer than any other thread on gg, sometimes delve into body issue, mental health, sexuality, etc, that while discussing is fine and all, i don't think a self-conscious and self-deprecating person should read about themselves. if they knew, it was maybe just to take a peek of what's the reaction of their new video, imo.

and it's not totally impossible that they knew, about gg and/or idb, for all of the reasons stated by other people. it could also be that they knew, but just didn't really care.

also, i'm kind of scared that the drug deal would get taken down someday if they do read gg/idb.

Cc the "Dan posted on here rumor" I think the user in question was called moomin (?).
But I also remember ( maybe wrongly) that a moomin commented on Carrie hope fletchers forum in support of her ( one of the only ones in support of her) and she later admitted to commenting on her own Gigi forum. So it could have been her not dan

why would I subject myself to rereading that... ugh. hate that article with a burning passion. as a journalist, a dan and phil fan and a person who's definitely not 12, i just find it appalling. and not even well-written.

ugh.

sidenote though: horrible person that i am, i do find the bit where she asks him about his sexuality kinda fascinating. i mean, of all people, he refers to tom hardy, who's likely straight (as far as i know, the rumors were only another stupid media thing because he played queer characters) -- and then you've got dan, whose story, whatever you think about phan, is hella different than that. (i mean, i found a hardy quote "there's nothing ambiguous about me, i know who i am" and then you have our self-proclaimed "sexually ambigous" daniel and is it bad that i'm mildly amused? )

Hey, you could be Dan distracting us, for all I care.

I have mixed feelings about them seeing us talk about them.

- On one hand they could see that 1) they have older phandom members 2)We love them and care form them (like the concerned parents that we are)

. On the other hand we often talk about things that could possibly be painful for them to take and I really don't want to make them sad/frustrated.

But who the fuck am I kidding? I'm mostly just the rotting banana peel at the bottom of the phan trash can who genuinely gets excited over the thought of them snuggling in bed. Idgaf let a bitch live

honestly I am pretty sure they read GG from time to time. Not all the time or anything but to sample the reaction to certain videos/projects. They are self proclaimed lurkers, GG is pretty famous and I don't think they would have resisted the appeal of looking what's said about them. I know I wouldn't be able to resist personally.
For this forum i don't think but maybe they'll find it eventually. Also I hope Jonquil will come here!

I really liked Phil's liveshow it was lovely, it was interesting and flew by
I am happy he talked about the radio show.

phamnotof yeah I reread that article and it gave me the craving of writing ANGRY LETTERS to everyone lol

Phil was hilarious today, his "fall out" with his cactus had me in stitches. Overall it was a great liveshow, he was relaxed but much more open to covering different range of topics. And his glasses story at the embassy I noticed the bulge on his neck, I was like why did his adams apple move to above his collarbone. Ugh them having sushi night while watching x-files game me so much feelings. They actually committed to watching a 9 season show which is a difficult feat. Me and my sister took 6 months to finish merlin which was 5 seasons. Overall I enjoyed it and YES! to him growing out his 2009 hair he was hot with the voluminous mop. Fabrice leave and never return ;)
Re pewdipie:I think he genuinely likes them. Look at his Instagram, he is following like 20 people and dan and phil are 2 of those people. I think through PJ he got to meet them and really like them (they seem very likable). Even watching the 7 second challenge you can tell he really wanted to promote them which is something he doesn't do often. Also I think Marzia adores them (you can hear her cracking up for the whole video). They actually do hang out so t's not a stretch for him to want them to get more followers given that he has the biggest audience. They are one of the more genuine youtubers and he seems to value genuinity above subscription count (except fake ass emma). He also appreciates creativity and they all seem to share interests/dark humor so friendship is not a stretch. What I always wonder is if he outright asked them if they were in a relationship and if they told him. I think PJ knows the truth, also bryony/wirro and maybe duncan and mimei. Pewdiepie is a loud guy and he always teased the phandom about phan so I wonder what his reaction was or how he approached them with it. I can totally see him watching their interactions and squealing with Marzia

[offtopic]wait, i thought it was not a rumor? i thought tom hardy came out as bisexual and then came back to the closet? i remember seeing a gif of him talking about experimenting with men or something on tumblr. i mean, i follow a very hardcore Mad Max Fury Road fans, and they often reblog tom hardy related things. i distinctly remember thinking he is not straight. (but then later retract it, and then went with what dan quote in that magazine) but i apologize if i'm wrong.[/offtopic]

Oh to have been a fly on the wall during that interview, and more interestingly, AFTER the "journalist" left.

Well, the common wisdom in showbizz is to not get to involved with fans or fan sites. Most of the celebs at least claim to not really read the reviews, rewatch their performances, seek advice on the internet.
(funny how i'm talking about popular culture as if i know even the first thing of it. Still think it's accurate though

It's gotten a lot harder to really avoid all of the phandom, especially when you're talking about two guys who love to surf the internet and follow tumblr. It would be pretty plausible they're at least aware of the GG forum. They could have lurked sometimes. Or maybe someone from channelflip occasionally did, as part of managing the brand / staying in touch with how things are going down.
It would surprise me if they already knew of this forum. One of them would have to be following things closely indeed.

It just crossed my mind, but could the thing they are planning for the shop that Phil mentioned in his LS be the stuffed toys we've seen several times?

Oh, and a bunch of DVD or games were about to fall from the bookshelf, they kept distracting me all the time

i couldn't care less if they read here or on gg or not, it'd probably do them good anyway if they really wanted to subject themselves to our opinions as their threads really are tame compared to some of the stuff people have posted on gg.
