I think it's mainly annoying for people who are verified and have notifications switched on for tweets from other verified people. I dimly recall Dan getting a twitter push notif about that in a liveshow or video, so he probs has it switched on? I wouldn't want to get a notif sound and retrieve my phone and then it's a dick bag spamming you.

That guy is a notorious spammer, tweeting every big youtuber on twitter, he tweeted d&p from time to time when he needed attention, he had it coming, surprised it wasn't sooner.

Loved the new video. I can never decide whether it's more fun when they accidentally encourage each other during the DVP or when they remember to try to thwart each other.
I didn't really notice Dan being 'extra' on first watch but I was intrigued to read people's comments and will re-watch with a fresh perspective.
I didn't realize the signs were Portuguese either but I was mentally kicking Deppy for not figuring out that km/h meant they weren't in the USA!

I find Dan's choice to apologize for being 'extra' interesting because to me he did seem a bit more short tempered and acerbic than he normally is in videos, but I didn't mind at all because it felt very honest (as opposed to overstated loud screeching or things played up for the camera) and Phil took it every bit in stride. I got the feeling that this was just normal fussy Dan in a bit of a mood because it was hot and uncomfortable, but maybe because it was closer to normal fussy Dan he felt more uncomfortable about it than he would on-purpose banter?

I second this. alittledizzy tends to be very perceptive about these two, and this is no exception -- I think that's exactly what he's uncomfortable about.

Phil was not bothered in the least, so neither was I. I'm guessing he sees this sort of irritable but not angry Dan quite often. I thought it was kind of cute, honestly, he seemed at ease enough to be a bit of a baby about things without turning every response into a joke, and it was endearing.

To me, he seemed slightly "grumpy" at the beginning of the video - like he really didn't want to do it. BUT he warmed right up (or is it cooled right down) and got really into it. Overall a solid video. 10/10 would watch again.

I loved the new video! i found it really relaxing and fun to watch. I studied like two courses of Spanish, but couldn't tell it wasn't Spanish. What caused me frustration was the Finland one, I could tell it was Finland straight away because literally all the roads here look like that. They always seemed to guess America a lot.

I loved that video, I'm not very fond of the DvsP series anymore for reasons I've stated before but this was cute and relaxed and effortlessly funny. The Grindr joke for example I expected hell when Dan apologized for being extra on Twitter but like of all the time I would have wanted an apology for his extraness this really wasn't one. I giggled at Dan missing that giant hint with the kilometers but I'll blame it on the heat getting to his brain. And I guess telling Spanish and Portugese apart can be difficult when you have no knowledge of either. I'd love to see them play it again, working together (or at least less of a competitive environment than usual in DvsP) and serving quality banter at the same times is the best kind of content.

Also, I don't really go soft for either very often but Dan looked adorable leaning his head on and half hiding behind the scoreboard there at the end. I think he was tired from the heat (classic Dan wearing that goddamn jumper in the heat just like during tour) so I was strongly reminded of a sleepy kitten for some reason.



The denim jackets are cute, Dan's is very on brand but also very much the type of thing you'd see on a shirt in Primark :') I loved the pic on Dan's insta as well, photographer Phil strikes again (or so I assume). Damn them for depriving us from seeing them both wear it at the same time tho.

I was sitting there smugly with my very under-used Spanish degree knowing it was Portuguese and probably in Brazil. Smh, Phil. Totally with the theory that Dan was just hot and grumpy, he was different in his extra-ness being sweary and snarky rather than loud and screamy. Reminds me of me when I get really hacked off. I too need a nice Phil.

I love those jackets and what they got written on them. There's no way they'll get them mixed up.

The "I don't have a magical disguise" (or something along those lines) thing with the tinsel necklace. Dunno why, maybe his face did something similar. Sort of petulant and childlike but genuine enough to not be considered actually whiny. I'm watching it again, it was just a nice video

I need Dan's Jacket! Does anyone know how he got it? I saw a few people who normally do haul videos got reached out to last year and Calvin Klein met them at Vidcon and gave them stuff, but Dan doesn't really do haul videos sooooo.....Can this please be the start of model/fashionista Dan?

The geoguessr video was so cute! I didn't think dan was extra, but from what he said I expected yelling and banging on the table, not being slightly snippy lol. I thought they were extra unfiltered and normal in this vid actually. Phil seemed especially lean-y-in-y to me. V. Cute!

Night all. I should be sleeping but I'm not so might as well do a quick review of the new D&P vid.
I love it. They spar very well in this video and i felt like it had some great friendly / intimate moments in it. I like it when Dan is being "extra" and Phil is really into the game.

To add to my statement I'm highlighting 5 points where I drooled all over them pressed rewind and took a snap.

A strong start with a lot of stares by Dan but i cracked up when i saw squiggly-eyed Dan trying to read Phil (aptly dressed for the occasion)



"Fight me bitch" Need I say more? A wonderful comeback by Phil who's meandering fists should be in everybody's insult database and Danny Fire threatening to slap his oxbow lake right on Phil's tits is the A-level geography I subscribe for. I love the banter



More of salty Dan rating Phil's pic at one. All fun and games of course, it's funny how the other one often starts laughing while the joke is still being told - i think they have that form of mind telepathy that you only have with good friends who you've known for years, and it shows throughout the vid



The whole video gave me a sweet and touchy vibe (do they have to strong an airco? Or does the heat and sweat of a warm day just make them lean into each other more, naturally? Life's mysteries )
Praise be upon egg jesus, but I hate how he broke up a clear view of the arm and shoulder foreplay I was enjoying here:



Dan's dramatic hand gesturing and Phil's playful pummeling of Dan's shoulders. I'm not quite sure if this was a suggested move from a (loose) script or not, it sure does look a bit extra. Regardless of whether they might have been exaggerating their enthusiasm or not, it's cute


Dan hiding behind the table board and Phil's wild tangents while stickering up his deserved win (the fuck Dan KPH can't be the US broski) made me smile at the end of the video.


In short: I think it's a lovely vid and I'd suggest everyone to give it a view.

Now I'm crossing my fingers that they'll have some fertile filming days giving us plenty of collabs

I love that video so much already, I’ll rewatch tomorrow when I’ve got more time. Dan was a bit different from what he’s usually like in gaming vids but I loved his attitude, it made for some great banter. My favourite parts were Dan trying to convince Phil he was in a place he clearly wasn’t in, comedy gold right there.

I didn’t realise that it was Portuguese instead of Spanish to be honest but I did get the Thai signs (egg Jesus, psh) immediately so I guess it’s about where you’re from and what languages you’re familiar with whether or not you’ll be able to tell which language is on the signs. They also didn’t get the Russian right away and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have realised it was Danish if it hadn’t been for the flag and the sign reading “Danske”. I did wonder why they didn’t realise they couldn’t be in America when there’s a kilometers sign on the road that Dan even pointed out but I guess they’re so used to kilometers that it didn’t even cross their minds in that moment that America doesn’t use them.

I was watching some fan videos and where does the clip of Dan saying "I was depressed for weeks, just completely suicidal" come from? I saw that people used it in their fan videos and I'm interested to know the context.

I don't have anything worthwhile to add, just that I loved that video so much and I hope that they play it again soon! I think by apologising for being extra Dan was just preemptively warding off potential accusations of being snappy toward Phil. I didn't personally read him that way, and thought both he and Phil were super entertaining, but there's always people who take Dan's banter as being irritable and mean to Phil, and I think he was maybe just hyper-aware of that. But yeah, great vid - they were both super flirty and comfortable, don't know if it was the heat or what but it was so good. Plus, the grindr joke and Phil ridiculing Theresa May for running through fields of wheat was soooo great, 10/10 from me.

Also I didn't think anything of km/h as I'm so used to it that it completely slipped my mind that America uses miles, so I'd guess that's what happened with them.

Also also, damn Phil looks beautiful in that denim jacket, it really makes his eyes pop!
