I feel like I can’t join the thread until I’ve read everything, it took awhile. Love reading everyone’s post-video opinions, it’s my fav part of deppy experience. So I’ll come with reactions, when everyone’s long over it.
I loved both videos so much! I feel that’s the best thing that’s happened to the fandom this year so far. It’s light content, with a lot of friendly non-cringe fanservice.
Louise’s video: so many good gems that were all pointed out, amazing chemistry. Got me crylaughing which never happens. Didn’t pick up on much awkwardness, and simultaneous talking didn’t spoil it for me. A lot of phan eye contact. Hair massages by Louise almost like ASMR (oops weird territory). But them alluding to sexual scenarios that often (trolling or not) is hardly a good thing before the tour, it just invites some immature fans who might not know better to ask/shout something completely inappropriate during tatinof (sorry for being a bit Tumblr police here, but it’s a thing). Phil with ruffled hair is
Dan’s video: funny storytelling is definitely Dan’s strong point, maybe he should just go back to it more often my favourite video of his is The Story of My Hamster. The restaurant story was not that funny in itself, they definitely scripted (they kept looking down at presumably a list of bullet points) and exaggerated it for comedic effect (I blame all inconsistences in the story on this), kudos to Dan&Louise’s performance. I was also amazed at half an hour collab?? That really says a lot about Dan being confident in the quality of the bants. Dan was slightly different in it – voice, manners, almost posing. I want to know about the mystery with the pitch. Obviously Dan was considered the man of the table in that Givenchy shirt. I like that he insisted on (twice) denying one-night stand with Louise and threesome with Phil, forgetting the third obvious option.

Probably a house? Depending on the size of the house, I guess separate rooms if it's big, one room with two beds if it's smaller. Gotta cover all the bases.

The Lesters actually own a holiday home in Florida, I think, which is why they go there every year. Just assuming that are going to be sharing a room.

I'm glad he posted that, both of them are more relax with the viewers by subtly admitting they are in gatorland together, Phil with the animals photo & later Dan with the selfie.
Oqua we need a gator emot now to commemorate this 1st-known Dan avec l'Lester Florida holiday
Correct me if I am wrong, l'Lesters has some sort of time-share programme where they stay in different bungalows whenever they go there for their annual holidays. I remembered Phil being excited one year when their holiday house had a basement with basketball hoops (the ones you have in fairs).
Also I am really happy they're back together! They have one week with the Lester's with Mama Lester making Dan food and giving them fond looks and Martyn teasing them about always being together. Martyn and Cornelia challenging deppy to basketball shootouts in their secret arcade, alligator adventures ahh my imagination is running free
He's probably been with them for a couple days, since he left the airport. I always wanted an actual Lester/Dan vacation and now they're in one!!
Also Dan's pic Dan looks so cute in that hat, why does all his ironic hats work??!!

Also found this relic. Makes me wonder how many times Dan and Phil secretly film each other and we never see the footage. It happened in Jamaica and it's probably happening in Gatorland

I wonder if Phil's parents will stick around for the first tatinof show or if they'll head home first. That would be a nice way to start the tour, with some familial moral support.
Ahh I keep forgetting that it's not just the tour that's starting, it's also Playlist. Louise will be there, Cat will be there. Evan will be there. Vlogs vlogs vlogs vlogs vlogs gimme. What do you think Cat will make them do on her channel this year for a collab, or will they not have time..?

If I am not mistaken the YT Convention in NY that they were invited to, was when YTRed was announced. After that convention youtubers that were invited started/given projects with YTRed; hence I wonder if there are any projects in the pipeline for

TBH I was thinking this would be a possibility too. However, I also think (specifically Dan) have voiced how important it is that everyone gets to experience their content, so I have faith that it won't solely be an exclusive release for something like that.

Sometimes I think the same thing, but it is important to know that youtube red does offer both a free two week trial (you dont even need a credit card to put in for those two weeks) plus a free month to test out the service to every youtube account. So even if they did chose to upload it onto youtube red, it would still be free to watch in a way. Kind of like with their audiobook, most people were able to get it with the one month of free audible. But in all honesty, I see them going more the Tyler Oakley way with what he did with his tour movie, just put it out on most sites like Itunes, Amazon, ect to buy it and maybe do a premiere in London for it? Who knows at this point

I'm thinking they might go the PvP route if their Tour Video is on YTRed. The professional Tour video on YTRed but they still have some clips/scenes in their normal YT channel.

Well that was a rain on my parade He was filming Louis (but Phil was there also..I need to stop saving pics on my computer with no context ). I guess I still have the knowledge that he filmed him voicing the BH6!
Also re: YTRed: They both emphasized that the reason the are recording the shows is that people who don't have the money or are not close to a location to attend a show can see it. I'm hopeful that the tour will be released through a video... maybe I'm too optimistic. Maybe the more in depth stuff will be open to purchase through a video. I don't think they'll go the YTRed route. They never did vessel and they are aware of the phandom and the shitstorms that can occur if they choose to make content inaccessible to eveyone. It is something they have emphasized in the past.

Can you imagine all the footage and photos they have of each other from the Japan trip alone? And we only got to see one day...

They're all so sweet together, it's nice. Still haven't watched the new dinof vid and yet I watched this, what am I doing. (although I had to skip all footage of Dan in his leather shirt, it's too much for me. why did he go out in public in that. no thank you)

I think Tyler and Lilly Singh both used YT Red initially but also simultaneously launched it on other platforms accessible to people outside of the US... no youtube is going to limited their viewership on purpose like that! I don't think not being able to give them your money will be a problem for anyone.
