Those last few posts describing how the guys move...

And clumsy or not, gotta love Phil's dainty hands and all-round bounciness. Reminds me a bit of one of my previous cats who was smaller, daintier and more energetic, and bolshy, than her sister.

Interesting observation that Dan keeps bending his knees etc. Locking your knees is something I've been told to watch and avoid as my lower back is quite curved, but I'm not that tall. Ages ago someone pointed out that he makes himself smaller in videos like baking the pumpkin cookies as if he's trying to be smaller than Phil again. It's the most adorable theory.

Sorry I'm so late to the airport discussion, been having technology hating me issues. All sorted now.

I saw this on Twitter earlier on and it made me laugh because people are adamant that D&P don't mind people being there at the airport however Dan himself says something completely different. They are pretty nice to carry on just entertaining the fans, I guess the more people go and post their selfies, the more people will think it's acceptable. Maybe they'll say something when the tour is over.
I saw one fan posting that her and Dan were 'laughing' at the haters at her m&g. I mean who is she trying to kid, we know his routine is 'hi thanks for coming, did you want us to sign that, shall I take the selfie, bye', I really can't imagine him laughing along to people trying to tell them that fans going to the airport is wrong. If she can produce a video of him saying that it's fine to wait for them after a long flight when all they wanna do is chill out then I'll eat my words.

It was a fun DILT. If you're a Phil trash you wont skip the first minute because of scruffy!Phil. It can never be as good as the Festive DILT but remember that every opening scene of DILT was scripted af. ( He could have at least changed his top. They've been doing this scripted thing for years and yet they still can't get it right.)

I think they're in a kind of yikes situation where if they say 'k actually guys could you not' now they'll make the people who already did it feel retroactively bad (which... they should...) and make people planning to do it feel weird (which... again...) and get the 'why was it ok for those people and not us' kind of reaction. I think they're going for the 'grin and bear it' this time around option, maybe especially since it mostly involves fans in a country they're unlikely to be in again? I'm also curious if they'll discuss it much or at all once they're back. But just based on their faces in the pics posted in the last thread, I mean... people are being wilfully clueless just to get what they want. It's unfortunate.

This whole airport thing is starting to get on my nerves, I wasn't really bothered by it before but deppy looks more and more pissed off at it in the photos.
And these people saying they don't mind just so people will stop hating on them are just encouraging more people to show up.
I don't buy it that these who show up believe that Dan and Phil don't care about fans stalking them, unless they don't know Dan and Phil at all.

10/10 archiving oqua. Seeing all those older screenshots, the latest butt-in-the-air angle is actually fairly elegant. Ngl, it's a tempting view, but would we rather reach over to yank his trousers up or to spank him

Good point on the airport situation that they'd upset those who already did it and thought they didn't mind if they do say something now, but it also might get too much if it hasn't already. At least they are travelling with a security person and it seems fairly calm and under control, but yeah, you can see they're tired and not up for it. They've been looking a bit tired even in some of the M&G pics.

Honestly I'm not sure what they'd say at an M&G if put on the spot about that particularly if it was by someone who had actually already stalked them at an airport.
Not only would they be on the spot but they are talking to someone who paid a lot of money to have that interaction with them. I mean I very much doubt Dan was laughing at the haters with her but I kind of suspect him and Phil would be too socially awkward to actually just say no it's not cool don't do it in that kind of situation. I think things like that are a lot easier to say in tweets and online then to a fans face hence why when faced with the actual stalkers in airports they don't call them out and just take the picture (and only scream with their eyes).

Just clicked on this and by reading the first post that comes up about their reasons for hating Dan I'm going to guess that is the person behind the blackmailing Dan thing on twitter who posted on here a bit or another of the people involved in that.
She also talked like she has inside knowledge, was a big Charlie fan and felt Dan had committed a crime for not responding to the stalkerish level of emails her friend sent him (one of the reasons that blog hates Dan is him not responding to emails).
I really wish people would stop giving that person attention.

yep, I started reading like "this sounds too familiar" with the 'I know something you don't' thing. And like 2 pages in you get the confirmation that it's them. lol that person even used the main tags in the post about 'proving' phan is real, they only want the attention and the phandom keeps providing that.

I agree with this entire post. Looking at the airport pictures makes me feel tired for them. I hope they do say something when the tour is over, because I would hate it if they ignored it and continued letting this happen.

If it was about Dan gradually becoming more and more comfortable with being open about his sexuality, I don't understand why he has been doing basically the same thing for the past 1.5 years because (as Lucet said) his comments (“hints“) are still in a pretty safe zone with room for interpretation. That makes sense if it is actually queer baiting and it's just a way to keep the fandom hooked without actual intention to ever come out (because he does not want to or because he is not bi/gay/...). Onision is an extreme example, but it's not like queer baiting is uncommon on youtube. People on this forum frequently acknowledge that Dan knows exactly what the fans want and that a lot of what he does is fan service/part of his “brand“ yet everyone seems to think that anything he says that can be linked to his sexuality is 100% genuine and must be him becoming more open about his sexuality.

Of course there are casual viewers that only watch him for his content but youtube is no longer their only source of income. The people that are active in the fandom/on social media have become much more important than the casual viewers over the past two years as they are the ones that buy the book, go to the tour, buy the merch etc. and help them to stay relevant despite them rarely posting videos. Of those people the majority ships Phan and wants Dan to be bi. So it makes sense to give those people what they want.
