Thank you to everyone who replied to our call for new moderators! There were so many good applicants. In the end, we selected two new members to join the gang!



Please welcome @Catallena and @lefthandedism to the moderator team.

I'm so excited to join the IDB moderator team!

I fell into the phandom nearly two years ago during tatinof--if I hadn't found IDB I think I would have fallen out again pretty quickly. Here on IDB I found good discussion, notice of all the important happenings, expert sleuthing, and some really lovely people. I'm expecting the forum to continue to be an amazing place to be a fan of Deppy, and I'm looking forward to helping that happen.

Hi everyone!~

I am very excited (and a little nervous) to start this journey for real. I'm still learning but I promise to do my best Thanks you to the rest of the wonderful IDB staff who put their faith in me and congratulations to my fellow newbie mod lefthandedism as well of course

For the sake of transparency there's also something I want to address.

In October I had an incident where I used an insult towards another member in a fight. That was a mistake which I sincerely regret. It is obviously against our rules, and at the time my behavior was corrected by mods just like anyone else would have been. At the time I was not associated with the staff in any capacity. I hope that settles things and that everyone will get along from now on

I'm looking forward to serving as moderator of this lovely community.

This was literally me. I got invested in phandom around the same time and was pretty disappointed in the fandom experience (like in the sense that I didn't see an older community anywhere, no shade to anyone) until I found IDB. Thank god for that, or I think I would have stayed a very casual viewer
