This was glorious, omg. You know when you feel bad that you can't, even in a comment, express how much you loved a fic and you end up just rambling a bit? That was me, with this. It is completely and utterly beautifulkuensukki wrote:JUST READ IT

Since you guys got the snsk love covered, I'll rec a different PBB:
Stirring in Love by andthenhesaid-write - 71k of a Great British Bake Off AU! It's really well written and really enjoyable, long but also a light read.

I read this in the morning and wasn't sure if I should rec it since its really heavy on gbbo but I loved it. As a fan of the show (Mary is a queen) I was excited to begin and the author was so amazing and thorough, they actually had real recipes from past seasons and even captured the judges reactions perfectly it's a real treat for anyone who loves GBBO or even who loves baking in general!alittledizzy wrote:Since you guys got the snsk love covered, I'll rec a different PBB:

I was just about to recommend this! Dizzy is doing fanfic advent (not just phan, but a lot, I hope)!! This is so sweet, and it made even grinchy me feel a warm and festive! This fic is beautiful: http://archiveofourown.org/works/8738497
Its from the perspective of Dan's ex though it never mentions her name.

I just finished reading this and it was incredible. It's a getting together fic set in 2015 at Phil's high school reunion, which I'd normally avoid, but both the story and characters are written extremely well!

The Unexpected Harvest by cosmogeny - this, this is like the perfect angst to me, realistic and then resolved. Highly rec.

And today mandy rec'd a fic involving chapstick...and phil mentioned chapstick in a video description today...it could only mean.....Winston wrote:I was just going to suggest this. Phil looks like he went to sleep at 6 AM and is dying inside, Dan glows like he spent the night having orgasms - Ticia
He also just mentioned metal underwear, and phankinks (i think) just wrote a fic about chastity belts. I'm beginning to think Phil reads AO3 just as much as the rest of us. Or he checks on here to read recs since they have been talked about on this forum too.eevee wrote:This was so nice to read, thanks for the rec! Umm... Is it okay to ask for fic recs here? I'm looking for ansty fics... Like, no happy ending? Most ansty phanfics have a happy ending, so... I actually couldn't drown myself in the sadness... Err... Yeah ._.
