That kid is so so so adorable I'm dying a bit in the inside
So sweet!
I hate it when Dan speaks German
I'm always confused because I assume he wants to say "Can you not" but the phrase "Kannst du nicht" isn't really a thing we say in Germany? It doesn't work like "Can you not" does, in my opinion
but the video is very cute
I don't necessarily mind that because it's kind of English slang so won't translate so well, it's just the way he says nicht, it makes my skin crawl
throwing in my two cents #necklacegate, but as someone who grew up with lots of boys around me wearing necklaces, whatever is on Phil's neck is definitely new, and Dan does not have a matching one on. Dan's shirts/sweaters aren't ever cut particularly close to his neck, and any sort of chain would be 100% visible at some point, esp in that All Saints grey thing he was wearing at the m&g. As for Phil, he tends to wear closer crew necks, but the white shirt he wore in the Impossible Quiz video is loose enough through the neckline for any sort of chain/leather to be clearly visible.
i'm on team clip on mic
also, re: dan's shoes, at first I was like 'i didn't know that adidas made all black tubulars, or that he owned them' but yes they're definitely Yeezy 750's and I've seen people claim they cost upwards of $2000. They retal for $350 USD (my estimate for retail CAD is $500 considering the $200 USD 350's are $285 CAD), which is decent for designer sneakers of that caliber, but the markup on resales due to their popularity and limited release quantity can be insane. Honestly, I wouldn't put it past that boy to be the first one in line on a drop date to buy them in person. In terms of style, 350 > 750 and the 950 can't even compare because it's technically a duck boot. I still think he should get a pair of tubulars, or the 350's in turtle dove or moonrock.
I think it's fine to talk about money, at least to some degree? But I find it kind of annoying when people (in newspapers esp) take someone earning a lot of money as something inherently evil (and maybe that's one of the reasons people are uncomfortable with the money talk?). There are bad ways and good ways to make money and I don't fault D&P for their salaries. And as people have said, we should probably take any kind of number reported by journalists with a huge bucket of salt...

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it's an obscure quote/saying from somewhere he's picked up. It reminds me of my best friend from school who haaaaaaated our German teacher so much she arranged her extracurricular music lessons for when we had German so she missed most of every lesson. The only word she could ever remember was Jugendherberge, because she found it funny to say. I do recoil when he says "neecht" though. My ears!!!!
Seriously, who'd they think they're kidding with this?!
IckleMissMayhem's evil fic writing alter ego.
Why was my first thought on this twitter exchange that they are gonna end up watching Buffy lying next to each other and then fighting over the bed? (like you know, trying to get the other down from it... And ending up sleeping there both because they are both too stubborn to give up?)
And oh jesus, now I read it again and the "you're going down Danny" sounds sooo inappropriate
'm pretty sure that it's somewhat a meme itself to badly translate English memes to German so unless you know the original, it makes 0 sense. Accompanied by a photo of Florian Silbereisen. Our country is great.
To not be completely OT, Dan talking German gives me so many cringe-flashbacks because when I met them, I asked if they knew any. I facepalm every time I think about it (..or watch the sneaky video I took..) because that's such a standard lame thing to say. Why did nobody stop me?
Also, I find it amusing how much little things like a mic-necklace matter to some of you guys. I can't tell if it's the lack of content/appearances elsewhere or the recessive stalker-genes
(Does anyone have trouble submitting posts to the forum via mobile? Am I too stupid to use this website? )

yes it does omg
these little tweets almost make up for the lack of ls, I thought Phil would ignore Dan xD

Next, on Dan and Phil games:
As if we didn't know that if there was a separate room with a single bed, it would be a large, double bed
On a serious note, if Dan is not lying, it would mean they have 2 tour buses, and some of you posted an approximate official monthly rate of 74,000$ each bus...even if I despise as well talking about money, it makes me wonder how much they have invested in this tour.

I think it's an internet/nerd thing? I've got several friends over here (in Sweden??) who keep saying "Kannst du nicht" for no apparent reason, I should ask them how it started.
....Kannst du nicht.
So if there's one bedroom with a TV and stuff does that mean that Cornelia and Martyn aren't going on the same bus as them? Wouldn't they all be discussing over who gets the good room, or do Martyn and Cornelia just let them have the best stuff and don't even care about it? This makes me think they're going to be on the tourbus that was posted in a picture and that Deppy will have their own separate tourbus, but wouldn't that just double the price of transportation? So many questions.
(also, like, is there convincing me that Mr. & Mr. Control Freak we-produce-our-own-tour-watch-us-build-an-empire didn't know waht kind of a tour bus they were dropping tens of thousands of dollars on?)
So if there's the one bedroom in the back, this is truly a beautiful ruse to make us think they're not sharing it. Just...
I mean if there really is only one big room, then even if they are just best friends it would make the most sense to just both sleep there. So this tactic isn’t working on me, in fact it makes me even more suspicious.
