Why was it people were thinking Dan's 'xoxo' IG wasn't from Vegas? Does the possibility that they stayed at a different Vegas hotel change that? I desperately want to think he didn't have a solid week to decide to post that selfie tbh.

Because the hotel dan in from the photo is one in West Hollywood so it does seem like the photo was taken maybe a day or two after vidcon before they traveled to their air bnb

but the hotel they supposedly stayed at when they first came to LA was 1 Hotel West Hollywood. This was before vidcon and the Airbnb and that’s where he took the selfie. This came from a tumblr post that recognized the view dan posted and also the look of the rooms so take from that what you will

I actually don't care that they delay or switch around their posts, I understand that they do it for privacy which is totally fine. It's a little funny when they post things that are two days old when we know they have been spotted somewhere, but the amount of people who will see creep shots or fan pics is far less than who see their posts and stories.

I'm still a little surprised that they announced in advance that they were going to Nevada at all. Was the whole trip secretly sponsored by Top Golf?

My headcanon is that Dan originally sent the photo to Phil only and now he was wondering what to post and he thought he was going to be cheeky like that.

For real though, they look so happy these days and that makes me happy.

the only time I've ever met Dan in person was at SitC 2011, when I travelled halfway across Europe to meet some Internet nerds on a field. (Remember when that's what SitC was?) Dan had just gotten back from vacation... somewhere, I can't remember, and he was tan as hell. here's a screen cap where I hid my dweeby 18-year-old face:

Cornelia posted then deleted an insta story of the whole fam watching the fountains at the Bellagio, I'm assuming she took it down because it wasn't delayed and they didn't want people tracking down where they were?

Martyn's little "wow!" is cute though. It's always a surprise to hear him talk.

Oh how sweet memory! Lucky you . It was probably Sicily where he had been. He has been gaining a little tan lately too. So, when he was milky white that was when he did not go outside for real, at least not in the sun. I know the weather in the UK is not good for tanning though, but he seems to gain tan easily.

I’ve spent a few minutes searching for Heinz cookbooks and found one in a similar colour and shape called “Heinz Baked Beans: Recipes, History, Trivia and More”. Not sure it’s turquoise enough, though. I’m guessing it’s something like that.

Now their home I’m a bit sad. Like what is next? We don’t know any upcoming phil videos, dan said he doesn’t know what’s next for him and because they havnt discussed the gaming channel what comes next? I don’t think the gaming channel will come back rebranded anytime soon I’d say a few months at the least. Does anyone else have this uneasy but excited for whatever comes feeling? I’m also scared that dan will go back into his bubble again but I guess we don’t know so no point in worrying

I feel like whatever is next, we'll find out soon now that they are home. So I'm excited. Personally, whatever the next thing is, I'll be happy, even if it ends up being a things Phil regrets buying video. I don't think a Dan video is coming anytime soon mostly because his videos take a while to produce. But I assume they'll now have the time to discuss what's the future of joint content so fingers crossed we'll hear some news on that sooner rather than later.

I’m still confused about that photo from the Venetian but I’m going to assume it was delayed. I think their photo dump yesterday was probably a distraction but I’m surprised it worked - they weren’t spotted at the airport as far as we know.

I wasn’t really looking forward to vidcon and their trip but was pleasantly surprised by the content we did get so I’m not going to stress too much over what comes next. I still hope we get some more Vegas content since dan didn’t actually say they were home (I figure that gives Phil some room to post more Vegas stuff for at least a few more days) but I do hope we get a phil video soon. It’s been almost a month since his last video and I miss him.

So they're home now, huh. I guess this the time for them to regroup and figure out what's next contentwise. I'm not expecting a video within the next week, unless maybe Phil has some funny storytime from Vidcon or something.

They went to Vidcon, then the roadtrip.. now what? Maaaan, we're back to unknown territory, I'm incredibly nervous/excited about the future because I really don't know what to expect from them now.

I’m excited! Post coming out, Vidcon, and Vegas vacation, I hope they’ll have their talk about the future of DAPG. Maybe even a joint liveshow to let us know their plans once they’ve made them. It’s the first time I’ve felt like liveshows might be a possibility since last year.

I see Phil’s still in Vegas in the IG timeline. I’d love it if that meant one more tipsy Dan voice over.

I'm pretty convinced that their first joint video of the year should be a mukbang. I feel like they'll want to set the tone and sort of catch up before jumping into any more "entertaining" projects, be it DAPG or a collab channel or... I don't know what.
So... yes. Mukbang. Please.

My only problem with the mukbang theory is that I'm worried they might not do one until a year has passed, which is a long time from now. So let's hope you're right and it will be in August.
