Someone posted a video on Twitter of Dan walking one of the Battersea dogs. I've never posted a twitter link before so let's see if this works.

Edited to say - I love Phil's laugh in this. :love2:

So sorry for the redundant post. I didn't realize alittledizzy had already posted the same tweet/video. Mods, feel free to delete mine if you'd like. Or we can have double the dog and Dan. ;)

It's never bad to repeat great content at the top of a new page!

Just want a day in the Life - Lockdown edition. How much cereal do they have? What kind ofof toilet paper did they manage to buy? how's Baking during the isolation? Dan and Phil Crafts - face masks.

So many ideas...

No joke that would be amazing :') I love Dan and Phil so much but I hope they do communicate about vidcon Mexico. I feel so sorry for people who were going and hopefully, Dan and Phil and the majority of their subscribers who were going can make the other date :( I hope Dan doesn't think that liking the tweet on the Vidcon Mexico twitter page and Phil replying to someone classifies as letting their fans know. Phil did say WE will let people know so hopefully that means they both will and doesn't just mean Phil will tweet something and Dan will retweet it.

I think they (or at least Phil) has let people know as well as he can right now. Everything is really uncertain so I trust that they’ll tweet something when everything’s calmed down

To all of the people with anxiety out there, I find that listening to audiobooks helps a lot. Especially young adult/childrens fiction and every single book read by Steven Fry (Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes will give you multiple days worth of listening). I listen to them while cooking, cleaning, going to sleep, on the tram,... I love it because I can still go about my daily life, sometimes I'm even more efficient in what I do, but it still keeps my mind distracted enough. If you can afford it, Audible is a really good source, some books are as cheap as 50 cents if you are a member.

Hope you are all well, we will all be okay! :love2:

I don't usually like audiobooks but can too recommend Stephen Fry reading the Harry Potter books, and also Jenny Sterlin reading Howl's Moving Castle (by Diana Wynne Jones). The last one especially makes me happy :love2: more people need to have read that book, it's perfect.

Also yes some lockdown-but-make-it-fun-&-lighthearted content would be great from all my fave creators now :tu:

I've been doing good with distancing myself from dnp lately but as I'm currently on lockdown and starting to feel close to a breakdown, I could REALLY use some dnp new content as a distraction, damn.

Same. When you have nothing but the internet to look up to, you really value creators. They have the luck of working from home all the time, have all the equipment and company to do what they do best - give some cheering up to people. In times like these where even normal people are doing their best by donating or entertaining everyone that is stuck at home, I truly wish they broke their vow of silence. Well. I say they. I mean Dan.

I’m looking forward to Phil’s live show tomorrow! Knowing him, I feel like he’ll try to go for a positive, kinda distracting vibe. I definitely wouldn’t mind that bec I’d love to get my mind off of everything stressing me out. I’d love if he did some gaming too. Anyone have any predictions or wishes for the live show?

So much good stuff in this Dan live show from 3 years ago! Domestic stories, honest, authentic takes on things, good advice. Also nice to revisit Dan’s thoughts on love in the pcou.

If you don't have Audible, most library services offer free audiobooks via apps like Libby and RBDigital - not as much of a selection, but the Harry Potter books are offfered by most!

Just a tip, I love Stephen Fry's voice but he does read incredibly slowly so I find listening on X1.25 or X1.5 speed keeps me interested and stops my mind wandering off, I couldn't really get on with audiobooks until I started l speeding them up!

The PhandomWatch livestream is about to start - https://caracal.club/PhandomWatch.

We'll be playing videos up until Phil's liveshow assuming he does one, and if he doesn't we'll just keep on playing videos! The theme this time is just 'special requests' so we'll be playing requests from the chat.

Did not make any notes but I just wanted to declare my appreciation for the liveshow, it was a really good one ✨

(wish he wasn’t so inconsistent with uploading them now though, I would like to give him my views if I can’t watch live for some reason.)

Off-topic question!
I have never listened to the Stephen Fry narrations of HP, only the Jim Dale versions...I can't seem to find the Fry download editions online here in the US. Are there any Americans here who have found where to buy the Stephen Fry audiobook download versions of Harry Potter?

I really feel like Phil is offering daily tweets because he wants to help distract people, and I love him for it. Considering he has a very immunocompromised father, I don't think he's quite as chill about it as he came across in the ls yesterday.
