So, the girl who met dnp for Make a Wish tweeted about that day:
Knowing that a pic like that exists and that we will never see it? Painful.

Oh, that’s all very sweet
Norman and Colin having met is the best news I'll receive this month.
I haven't said anything about Phil's video and liveshow yet oops. I really liked Phil's video, even if it did make me miss DAPG. The only thing I know about Animal Crossing is that it's very slow and wholesome and that the internet goes mad over it every couple of years, but it was just so nice to see him play a game again and so voices and stuff. It gave me Shelter series vibes, which is always nice.
I also really liked the liveshow. He was a little bit all over the place at times, but I appreciate him trying to give us a tiny bit of normalcy and escapism despite everything.

I’m so enjoying Martyn’s handwashing IG story! I’ve never really heard his voice properly before.

Sorry for the double post, but starting at 2:22, deppy are too cute showing off their 2014 playlist goodies. For once, it seems like Dan was ok with being vlogged.

Is it bad that the thing that stood out to me is The Internet Is Here getting credited to Daniel Howell? I'm not sure why it has that, since the page itself says it's by the "duo Dan and Phil."Amiaw wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 1:54 pm Was scrolling on twitter this morning and saw this. I know it’s Wikipedia so anyone could have done this but still kind of striking to see. Dan come back! Even wiki thinks you’ve retired
I mean... Is it really striking? It's the truth.
I agree that it's more weird about the internet is here. And Phil still being considered a radio personality. Also why is Phil an English vlogger but Dan was a British youtuber? What's the difference? Lots of questions from that screen alone

Will probably never be over the BONCAS and the beauty of Phil Lester.

A little phannie cameo at seven minutes into Tom's new video...
Some OG youtubers that haven't posted in years started resurfacing on youtube, like one of Dan's inspirations, Natalie Tran, pleasantly surprised everyone with a livesteam after 3 years absence. I don't expect anyting from Dan, but seeing that this pandemic isn't going to resolve any time soon, I have a glimmer of hope he will take inspiration from his favs and eventually post something.
Just realized Dan hasn’t even posted an Instagram pic since Christmas lol
And 4 days since his last twitter like... he must be taking social distancing very seriously.
Forget former Youtuber and radio personality.... if things keep up his Wikipedia should just be updated to “AmazingPhil’s roommate”.

Speaking of, Dan formed a “performing arts” company in February called “Embrace The Void Limited.”

Maybe he isn’t as retired as we thought he was.

“Performing arts”? My stand up tour nightmare theory is suddenly becoming more real and I am scared.

Since everyone’s plans have to be put on hold right now maybe Dan will reconsider his ‘silence until a project drops’ thing and entertain us or at least retweet something positive and helpful from Young Minds. He doesn’t have to come back now but it would be a nice thing he could for his fans.
A shiver ran down my spine at the idea that Dan could actually do a stand up comic show. Imagine if he retreated from the internet to then come back with a show that only a handful of people could see when he could 100% do that on the internet and have a broader reach.
Excuse me while I go rock in a corner at the idea of my worst nightmare coming through
(why yes I am dramatic thank you very much I did 5 years of musical theatre)

I watched the Story of Tatinof for the first time the other day and I was really struck by how clearly invigorated Dan is by stage work. So count me as someone who would be thrilled for Dan if he was doing anything involving live performance, even if I myself could never see it. It just seems like an obvious good fit. Of course we can only speculate, as always, about his plans so I'm still operating on the "have zero expectations and be genuinely happy that Dan is out there living his private, unscrutinized life and getting a chance to fuck up" principle.

It's interesting to me that Tatinof wasn't "performing arts" but was "artistic creation." I don't know anything about these codes, but would that indicate a separate between performing self-written work and performing work by others?

I think it would be great if he did something on stage, stand-up or otherwise. He knows his audience is very global, so I trust in him to do everything in his power to make it available online. Put me down for a Hell Yes to a Dan comedy special on Netflix.
IDK what it is says about the state of being a ~dannie... but wow. This Embrace the Void thing just appearing - let alone potentially being something entertaining - has already raised my spirits re: Dan's existence as a public figure.
I couldn't care less what it is. It's SOMETHING! He's doing things! Stuff! Projects! Work! Big, if true.

Did people think he was retired? I thought he was pretty clear in late 2019 that he had projects on the works - we're just not gonna know until they're done.knq wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2020 9:18 am Speaking of, Dan formed a “performing arts” company in February called “Embrace The Void Limited.”

Maybe he isn’t as retired as we thought he was.
Anyway I am SUPER intrigued by this.
