Well, what I know is that the other day when I actually went and counted (judge away, I get curious about the randomest things!) there were 229 registered users who had never posted. Ever. And it does make me feel a bit weird. Surely it's a bit soon for sockpuppets and that.

As for the reason why people don't post after registering: It's a possibility they are just shy. When I registered back in GG it took me a few months (I think? or weeks at least?) to actually gather enough courage to post. It might sound stupid, but I'm sure it has happened to someone else at least (please, tell me I'm not that strange).
And, if they are not native speakers, they might not be confident their English is good enough. That's also a barrier (kind of) for me, because writing a few lines takes a lot of time (now I'm just projecting , but I think it makes sense).

I think people were talking about calling the bus company because the website's images weren't clear which interior was for which bus? I don't think that's much different from looking up the bus images/plans online (it's just looking for further clarification based on what's already publicly available online). I completely agree. Can you imagine if it got back to d&p that people had been directly contacting their bus company? i feel like it blurs the line between sleuthing and stalking, and kind of breaks the fourth wall of being a fan in that it is actually engaging with people that they work with, in order to try and weed out information about them that they haven't provided themselves. if i were them, it would make me feel very trapped and smothered by my own audience, as well as kind of skeeved out. obviously you can do far worse, more invasive things. still makes me feel uncomfortable though.
RE: TATINOF playlist, gosh they know their audience's main interests so, so well. from start to finish, they have created such a warm, comfortable, exciting environment for the majority of people who will be attending their show. that playlist reads like a phandom-demographic tumblr user's dream.

If someone actually called the company to ask them specifically what they rented out to D+P, that's going too far, I agree. Even if the company wouldn't/shouldn't reveal that info anyway.
I thought people were calling the general tour bus rental company to inquire about the bus options they have available on their website to ask if a layout with 2 bedrooms was even possible (this was what I was referring to when I said it's not much different from looking up images/plans online--because one way or another, whether it's through comparing real and online images/plans or phone calls asking about layout options, the answer will be the same). The only difference is that one way the floor plan options are discovered through a website, and the other way it's discovered through a phone call.
In this instance timtam, I'm personally curious why one seems better than the other since you mentioned looking at/comparing plans with their bus was ok to you?

I actually noticed the @ last 2 liveshows that Dan had lost weight visibly from his face. I'm totes cool with it and really he needs none of my "approval", but concerns me aswell.
I just want Dan (and Phil ) to be healthy and happy.
I personally have stalked a bit more in the last 3 threads because I have very little time to coherently contribute to the topics at hand, because of time issues.

As far as I know nobody called the tour bus company and asked for specifics about Dan and Phil’s bus, that would be crossing a line I agree.
They just wanted to know if something was possible, which I personally think is fine. I don't even think that Dan and Phil's names were dropped, so the tour bus company and will not even know about it.
here's the story:
so I had gotten to the theatre at 4:30 and there weren't any signs for the meet and greet then we asked where it was and they said it finished (it's was 6 when we asked) and then me and another girl were the only ones who didn't see them and a manager said we couldn't do anything but we could have our books signed so we let them take it since we had no other choice and then when the woman came back she didn't have the books and suddenly told us to come with her so and took us backstage to see them and we got a bunch of pictures, hugs, and I managed to give them some art
Really great of Dan and Phil to do this. This is why I love these guys, because they are genuinely nice and care.
