The whole aquascaping story makes me so happy. Honestly, there's nothing that makes me happier than people having sincere enthusiasm for hobbies. I wish I'd picked up a hobby during Covid times; I think it might have helped with my overall mood.

I really, really hope we get more design and tank progress pictures.

I find it so sweet that Dan har found himself a new hobby. One where he gets to be nerdy and creative without any obligation towards anyone else or to make it into ~content~. I know he has GW2 but that's also a social thing for him I think, so to have something tactile, creative and private is probably really healthy for him.

I was re-watching Phil’s live show from September 13, 2014, and he mentions that Dan is out to dinner with his family. So is September 13th one of Dan’s family members’ bday, and Phil got to go this year?

Follow up on my Dan’s relative’s birthday theory. I was watching the IDB Rize show from Sept. 20, 2018 and Dan mentions that his Grandma’s birthday was “a couple weeks ago”. I love a date night, but I love Phil being at a Dan family bday even more!

Oooh, amazing sleuthing!! Definitely seems like that might have been a family event. We know grandma likes to celebrate things in style (see: her Last Adventure trip a few years back).

It was really nice seeing Dan's face yesterday but I have this awful habit now of just assuming when Dan is being active and throwing us crumbs, it's probably because Phil feels like shit and isn't up to staring at screens (or being on them).

I feel like someone around here knew things about agents and such in the past; when an LA entertainment agent leaves one agency to work for another, would you expect clients (e.g. Dan) to move with them or stay with the agency, working with a different agent? I guess probably the co-president of an agency wouldn't necessarily even represent people himself, so probably Dan would stay with ICM (unless I missed a switch that's already happened).

Thank you Dizzy for posting the exact reflection zoom-in I was looking for.

Def looks like a big Light for filming or some sort of photoshoot but I can't spot a camera. It does look like there's someone standing in front of Phil taking the picture, who could be Dan but doesn't immediately look like him. There's not a lot to gain from the room imo but it doesn't look like any part of the house we've seen so far. Does look like there's wooden flooring where the wall meets the ground behind him?

With the beach chair he's sitting on looking remarkably similar to the one Dan used in the Gay and Not Proud video, and whatever white painted brick wall had the strange suggestive notes on it, I would guess it's some sort of filming studio, maybe something with youtube?? Something to do with the project coming this fall?? Theorize away
