Kind of off-topic but i saw a stage play a few weeks ago and the whole play was in English and there was like a screen with the German translation. I don't know if it's common in other non-native English-speaking countries, but in Germany (or at least where i live) many cinemas (and theatres) show movies/stage plays in OV (Turkish, English etc) and with german dub (or subtitles if it's a stage play). So I think touring in Europe shouldn't be a problem, but that's what most of you said already soKurapika wrote: I guessssss. But music concerts are very different from a stage play, which is basically what TATINOF is. But of course there's tons of people who are very very good at English (like us).

So, liveshow tonight. Let's make predictions about what Dan's mood will be. Happy? Existential? Talkative? Disinterested? Vibrating?

busy being happy~
Their show would have to be entirely scripted for that to work though, and that wouldn't be so great—it wouldn't really fit their style. But if they stuck to big cities they would have absolutely no problem finding people who understood English well enough. As a native English speaker I'm constantly in awe of how well people speak it as a second language, all over the world.backin2009 wrote:Kind of off-topic but i saw a stage play a few weeks ago and the whole play was in English and there was like a screen with the German translation. But who the fuck am I kidding? I'm mostly just the rotting banana peel at the bottom of the phan trash can who genuinely gets excited over the thought of them snuggling in bed. Idgaf let a bitch live

their show is entirely scripted- they hired a bloody playwright to write it after all.mez29 wrote:Their show would have to be entirely scripted for that to work though, and that wouldn't be so great—it wouldn't really fit their style. "I will sue your ass into oblivion"
wow this place sure moves a lot while the EU is at work
On the subject of reading old posts:
I never did, cause when I started lurking at (is it now the forum that shall not be named?) about a month ago and you know the topics that ppl tend to go back to when there is no new content - I just didn't wanted to go 1/2/3y back and realize that ppl had the same expectations cause it just feels ... depressing? (sorry for the word) You know, seeing posters that are no longer posting but the discussion results now and then are still the same - it feels like watching their dreams not coming true or something like that
idk it just give me weird feeling difficult to describe with my english. Anyone else experiencing the same or is it just me?
That brings me to the english subject:
But to be on D&P topic - I do think that if they did live tour in Europe they could also have subtitles in the native language running above stage as addition - again sorry for not being able to describe better, but I've been to a couple of other shows where they have done it (in theater too)
typing at the same time - so yes, seems it's common then in the EU to have the translations during play
when I was writing how I worry about how to contact ppl still stuck on the other site, I kept having this horror scenario of saying something, the mods getting angry and deleted all D&P. All of it. But yeah that's me and my scenarios of doom I hope the archiving is going well

at 0:35 about Nick putting his name in Phil's phone as 'my bwest fwend'
Nick: Why did I do that?
Dan: I don't know, why did you do that? (and earlier "What's that about?" while looking at Phil)
Bless them.
Thanks and have a great day! Oil me

I was so confused when he said the badger 'wee'd' on the floor, I'm just imagining leaves going everywhere. :wtf:fancybum wrote:I vote for all of the above simultaneously + hungry. All I can think of are when he's kind of "big man big posture look at me I'm sitting next to Dan," but other than that I don't recall any moments where he's outwardly acted like jealous Dan/just jealous behavior overall.blue_bear wrote:Too funny! Very subtle Dan..Jeweul wrote:

I'm really sad I didn't get to read the GG thread here, I was putting it off a bit and now it's gone...
Are there any clipsof Jealous Phil?
I can't find the interview I was referencing above, but it's one of missemma's old site that shall not be named profile pictures. It's the really weird interview.
Edit: This probably made no sense, it's not really jealous Phil, more of just weirdly protective/something's not right Phil.

Ommg 24 pages to catch up and it's kinda late for my opinions on the gaming video (to sum it up I REALLY LIKED IT bc of Phil showing off his brilliant mind).. I missed everyone so much haha
Hope Dan's liveshow would be a good one.
So glad the suspicious silence on GG made me check oqua's tumblr and I found a link to this forum!
They banned so many good posters whose contributions to the discussions were essential, so I'll better stay here. Really miss a thank you button tho

It makes me think of Jim's house and other times when Phil kind of spreads his legs in front of dan and takes over. omg I couldnt think of another way to word it ok.Jeweul wrote:All I can think of are when he's kind of "big man big posture look at me I'm sitting next to Dan," but other than that I don't recall any moments where he's outwardly acted like jealous Dan/just jealous behavior overall.blue_bear wrote:Too funny!
