I'm sure they don't even remember it, it's a comedic exaggeration on her part and a natural reaction on both of theirs. It's just a random, cute thing, imo. Nobody got hurt, offended or horribly embarrassed.

Also, yeah, she's beautiful. Half of Twitter appears to be trying to find a way to hate her because as much as they like to proclaim Dan is bisexual, they like to forget the part where that also includes finding women hot. Meanwhile, I'm just sitting here & thinking about how I can manage to make her my wife.
Same. Forget Phil, I'm going to marry this girl.

Kinda late, but I felt kinda ~meh~ about the agar.io video. Nothing new at all. I won't re-watch it, that's for sure.
I don't get what the big deal is about the girl's shirt. Cloth was covering her boobs, it's not like they were falling out on their own, it wasn't skin-to-skin contact. Also, she's 21 and all they did was hug and take a picture. She sounds like a polite and reasonable person, so I'm sure the situation couldn't have been more uncomfortable than hugging a small child who watches you religiously.
Plus, she's met them before. Idk I just don't see what is wrong with this situation

People are apparently saying that she wore that top to 'attract' Dan and Phil, like omg God forbid a woman would just wanna wear a cute top she knows she looks good in :') She could probably wear a potato sack and look gorgeous. I'm jealous.

and i don't even think her top is that revealing??? it looks like something completely normal for a 21 year old to wear???

i cannot believe people are giving her shit for it oh my god

and i want to believe dan and phil didn't find it scandalous or uncomfortable or whatever jaej is suggesting because seriously it's 2016 and they are adults

i understand them struggling not to stare because she is gorgeous, i would struggle too, she didn't seem to mind at all and is obviously comfortable with her clothes

i don't see what's so dramatic about this

lots of people are adults and are uncomfortable when put into situations considered sexualised when they don't necessarily want that or feel comfortable. it's not about whether they think the scenario is anything sexualised, it is currently considered something sexual to wear and is perfectly normal to not feel great touching someone like that. just because someone is an adult doesn't mean they're not allowed to feel uncomfortable or tense when placed into situations they don't like or aren't used to

do you also think crop tops and short shorts are sexual?

i think intentionally shown underwear (that is considered 'lingerie' and designed to be sexual over basic underwear) is sexual. i don't think there's anything at all wrong with dressing like that. but in this situation - where you are physically touching a person you do not know - you need to take into account how they will feel, not just caring about how you yourself look because you like it

At the end of the day...nobody knows what was going on in Dan and Phil's head at the time when they saw her. People can only assume. Maybe they see the top as revealing/sexual, maybe they don't. Maybe they were briefly uncomfortable/caught off guard by it, maybe they weren't.

The girl is an adult (who knows if D+P knew that) so she can wear what she wants to. Dan and Phil are also adults, but them being adults doesn't mean it's impossible that they were/weren't uncomfortable by it.

Late to this party!
Personally, I think her outfit is super cute and additionally not much cleavage is even showing from my judgement solely on the picture. Not to mention she is 21 so we don't have to worry about oh my goodness is she a minor and so forth.
Also, lets say if Deppy was definitely starring at her boobs then how is the phandom trying to pull he's bisexual from solely that? I mean there's nothing wrong with looking at boobs. Just because you're caught looking doesn't mean you're ____ type of sexuality.

In addition I think this girl is handling it quite well, she's pretty funny and sassy.

I bolded your problem. It took a while to get there, but we're here. You find this sexual.

And your interpretation of D&P being uncomfortable with a girl in a see through shirt is yours. It's obviously not a sight they're used to but to me, they look just as uncomfortable in their picture with her as they do in every other M&G picture. And what she said was pretty much 'Dan was a typical guy who is attracted to boobs, Phil saved himself by trying to be polite' and that's really all I got from that. Obviously, our interpretations of the situation and what is 'sexual' or not are different.

But what 99% of the whiny phandom people is giving this girl shit for is the fact that she's a confident and attractive woman who dares to wear a piece of fabric that made Dan look. I have a problem with that.

perhaps dan was just appreciating the clothing, you know his fashion sense and all that or he was just checking her out
girl looks awesome, boobs are great and lit anybody has the right to wear whatever they feel more comfortable with, it's the other people probs if it affects them... it's just like girls getting told they are provoking men by wearing anything slightly shorter/revealing like gtfo

agar.io was boring
m&g pics are cute but u know it gets boring fast -.-

something intentionally designed to be sexual is going to be seen as sexual. in situations like this, it isn't just about someone feeling confident in what they wear like it usually would because it involves other people. if someone has to make an effort to not look at you because of what you're wearing, it's not because they're being polite, it's because they're uncomfortable.
some people are mad at the girl, and others are claiming d+p should feel lucky and if they aren't then they're wrong. neither view is good here. don't make d+p into objects who have to enjoy what happens when they display signs of being uncomfortable. it's never someone's fault if they feel u comfortable when confronted with things that are promoted as being sexual, even if that thing shouldn't be promoted as sexual.

That's how you see it. don't have to see it the same way. Maybe Phil was being polite. Maybe Dan couldn't help looking. Doesn't mean they were more or less uncomfortable than any other M & G. They're professional presenters who probably met famous people with way more revealing clothing at the BRITs or at other events. You don't have to baby them because they hugged some girl who showed a little cleavage.

I have nothing against her top. What irked me was that she needed to tweet about the staring. If she's a fan, she knows how crazy protective the other members of the Phandom. She will get their attention with that tweet. I saw other m&g photos and she was not the first fan with top that showed more skin. She could have avoided this shit storm if not for that tweet.

But seriously, those people need to chill.

They're grown ups. The girl's skin was completely covered. Still sounds like you're putting your own feelings in their place and not actually thinking what they felt.

It couldn't have been more than a 30 sec. meeting. The girl tweeted about Dan looking at her chest and Phil being a gentleman not looking because it was a quick funny moment. It wasn't some long ordeal for anybody. Actually Dan looks less uncomfortable in the photo than most of the other fan photos. Move on like Deppy probably did right after that M & G.

Agar.io was mostly boring for me because it had been done and dead for awhile when they recorded it. At least play slither.io or a game that isn't already ancient if it isn't going to be uploaded immediately.

I agree. I think people are putting their own biases on the situation. Immediately assuming the reason behind their reactions absed on what you'd do doesn't really work because many people would react that way for different reasons.

For example, I think boobs are swell, but looked at her cleavage in a completely non-sexual way because her shirt sort of draws the eyes there. I've seen enough breasts in my life that I don't see them sexually in random situations like that. I, however, would be a bit uncomfortable in that specific situation because I wouldn't want to get caught or offend someone by looking at their breasts in a place where so many people are underage.

Either way, most of the probable reasons are so minor that I feel weird dragging this out.

being a gentleman about what??? why would he act like that if it was a situation he was fine in? if it required that kind of reaction, he was clearly avoiding something. i am not claiming it was a long ordeal or traumatic but that there are reasons they could have been uncomfortable and reasons to suggest that they were, so people shouldn't act like there is no possible way you could not enjoy it. and stop with the 'but they're grown ups!!!' excuse. it's disgusting. being an adult doesn't mean you're going to be comfortable.

if i met her wearing that top i wouldn't be uncomfortable at all but i would still try not to stare at her because that's rude?

and she didn't say they weren't looking at her, she said that phil kept looking at her eyes (which is you know, kind of the normal thing people do when talking to someone?) and dan did look at her boobs... so... your point is???

no one is saying that they should enjoy it wtf we're saying that there's nothing about her clothes that is inherently sexual and no reason for them to be uncomfortable if she wasn't like, acting sexual with them, and as far as we know she wasn't

yeah no, not here for that, her tweet was funny, nothing they did or she did was wrong, there's no reason she shouldn't have share that

I was waiting to get home to post my thoughts in a more clear manner but this was excellent. She did nothing wrong. Nothing pisses me off more than women being limited in clothing because guys can't help but stare. I'm from Middle Eastern descent and this is a huge problem in my country. When I visited my family I was told to cover because guys can't help but stare at your body. They can and should control where they look. Women should be free to wear whatever they want with the confidence that they won't be sexualized for it.

I don't think it's fair to judge Dan harshly because he may have been drawn to what she was wearing or may have glanced accidentally. I am judging those who think it's helpless for him not to stare because she is hot or gorgeous. She may be fine with it but others won't and in might put them in an awkward situation. They are professionals in this instance and Dan and Phil should be careful to conduct themselves in that manner. Hopefully this isn't offensive to anyone, this is just my views and beliefs and my opinions on this situation. :|

Looking at a girl's chest is impolite. Phil was being polite by not looking at her chest. If someone I know is wearing a low cut shirt or showing some skin I would also only look them in the eyes because it's polite even if I'm not uncomfortable.

Nobody is saying they need to enjoy or like it but you're putting your feelings in their place because of your identity and experiences. They probably didn't even care or notice because her clothing wasn't that revealing compared to what they've probably seen before. Again if you are uncomfortable that's your experience and not theirs. There's nothing wrong with your feelings but there is something wrong with saying D & P definitely feel the same way.

imn ot saying they definitely felt the sameim saying to atop acting like its impossible or thayt theres no way they could have a problem with it lingerie is designed intentionally to be sexual and when shown it is sexual and when that can make people uncomfortable especially when you hav to touch them and acting like theres no reason to be concerned isnt fair

All great points from spider, kuensukki, and angrymob (an ironic username considering the phandom rn)

Word vomit on this whole BOOB-GATE 2K16 thing
I think this has been blown out of proportion. Her top highlights her breasts so of course your eyes might initially be drawn there. It doesn't mean Dan was leering at her or being inappropriate, his eyes were probably just initially drawn there and then everything went back to normal. I can also understand why Phil might have intentionally made more eye contact than normal - if I meet someone who is wearing something that draws attention to their boobs I usually am aware of it and kind of make a conscious effort to look at their eyes bc I know staring at someone's boobs is generally considered inappropriate behaviour.
She's an adult, she can wear whatever she wants.
While I personally don't think that either Dan or Phil would have been bothered or given this a second thought after meeting her, I would hazard a guess that if this did make Phil uncomfortable, I am sure it would only be temporary and he is fine

Why should we be concerned, though? The girl was wearing a sheer-ish top with a visible bra underneath - that's a very common trend in women's fashion at the moment. There's no need to be concerned that d&p, two grown adult men, may feel the slightest bit uncomfortable for a split second just because women's boobs and bras are sexualised on the whole by society. It's a pretty normal reaction to glance there automatically, or to determinedly not look there to avoid being perceived as impolite or pervy. And in any case, deppy look perfectly happy in the photo. I don't understand what the problem is here?

If you're looking for reasons to be concerned, maybe it should be for the girl being attacked by the phandom for unapologetically wearing stylish clothing that shows off her boobs?
