Since falling down the rabbit hole I had a gut feeling about that time and phan. It started when Dan started making male attraction mentions in fall last year but I thought it was wrong. Spring 2017 was too close and it might have been my wishful thinking. That was until today when I think it might be too far.

and re your response to my previous post, I definitely think their gradual change in attitude is part of some bigger picture down the line. Dan almost certainly picked the question and then consciously decided to say love in his advice, which definitely would not have happened 3 years ago, even as a joke..

You are all so excited, I didn't expected this idb reaction to that vine at all. Because when I saw the vine I feel fuzzy but I was like, first this is the answer to a isg question and if you think he is implying something related to his relationship with Phil then you have the "stalk him until he lives you" phrase, that the only information that gives me is that Phil loves Dan/ Dan loves Phil that is not new information, but it doesnt tell me what type of love it is. Romantic? Platonic? So is still ambiguos af.

I'm still believe they are together, but that vine for me is nothing like a coming out or a slip up.

It's kind of funny that these hand-holding posts get so much attention. We can pretty much assume that they wouldn't hold hands in public. At most they would touch hands, and them touching hands means basically nothing. On another note, at this point, they probably COULD literally hold hands and half the phandom would claim it's edited. Lol

That is hilarious and incredibly true.

This is one fandom where manips just annoy me. In some fandoms where the people you ship never interact they really don't bc then it's just usually fanartists making stuff to go along with fic or creating a cute moment that is totally and obviously fiction. But Dan and Phil do so much other real stuff, by bother faking anything?

I am late for the party (hey! I need to live up to what my country is known for.)coz when I decided to make-up for lost hours of sleep that vine came out. But please indulge me.

Vine: I just can't with that vine coz for me Dan was really pushing the boundaries of ship baiting with the tone of his voice. What I get from isg is that he gives "bad advice" to questions. I will really take everything he said as a joke (like always) but his subtext for me was, "I know you know what I was referring to and I know you like that I was referring to it." I will really hate D&P if they are not together irl. But I must admit I the first time I watched it.

Angst: I just read a fanfiction where Dan no longer found Phil's cereal eating and clumsiness endearing. That was when he realised that he was falling out of love. It made me sad than any break-up ff. So no to angst/drama irl. Fanfiction and the fandom can handle that.

Holding hands: wasn't that photo pure optical illusion? Those kind of photos are cringy for me coz we all know D&P will never do that in public. It looked so desperate. But hey! I think those "desperate" attempts are helping D&P to tease the shippers and to look platonic bros to non-shippers so good for them. Let's just wait for Spring 2017 for real photos.

Woah those were some intense reactions to that vine! I don't disagree that it's pretty telling that Dan chose to go down the 'stalking' route for his comment. I think it's a combination of fanservice (but not the kind of negative fanservice) and Dan becoming more comfortable with his history with Phil, which is a good thing. I personally didn't even really react to the vine. Must be a sign that this content drought is making me not care about them any more.

Please please please don't post any spoilers on this thread, some of us don't have the chance to watch it until a bit later because of timezones and work. Even this is enough of a spoiler for me because now I'm going to be all hyped up for something sad.

Also I've noticed there's been a lot of off topic or topics that people can vaguely connect to D&P and I don't want to complain but this thread is hard enough to keep up with without scrolling through heaps of posts that aren't really relevant.

Do we think it's because Martyn doesn't want to appear on his channel or the other way around? I was kind of secretly hoping for an AmazingPhil vid w/ Martyn while they were on tour but it appears Martyn is back in the UK
Other conspiracy theories of mine as to why the #Mil collab hasn't happened: maybe they are concerned that Phil collabing with his brother will put attention back on the relationship Dan has with his brother?

Probably more likely that Martyn just doesn't want to be on Phil's channel. I'm sad I bet a Lester collab would be super cute

The fangirl in me thinks it's more about Dan's brother coz when Phil did the video with his mom a lot of people commented that Dan should make one with his mom as well. I mean Martyn interacts with the fans. He also appeared on some of Phil's older videos so I think he has no issue with being on a video. Or, maybe he is just not interested to do any brother tag videos.

Just some notes to add to the thread:

Walking past the "crew" bus this afternoon in rainy DC, the merch crew was retrieving merch boxes from its cargo compartment, so it appears they are selling so much merch that they need the additional baggage space in the "crew" bus.

There are 3 busses and 2 tractor-trailers associated with the show. One appears to be a star coach, the other 2 are configured as crew coaches. I'm not sure if anyone on this board has correctly IDed the companies that supply the vehicles (there are several.) I don't really feel comfortable posting the company names (for their "protection") but they are well known in the industry. Star coaches typically have a swank bedroom in the back, and a spacious pop-out / slider living area up front (that can convert into more beds if required.)

AFA the stalking comment is concerned, and whether it is fanservice or a move closer to acknowledging Phan, the show itself includes several cheeky references to a possible relationship (and the audience immediately picks up on it.) IMO, the recent ISG question and answer example was fanservice. My guess is the questions are submitted during the M&G, and answers are written before show start. They know what they are doing.

I sat 4 seats away from Drake prior to show start, then he disappeared out a side door. Only a few fans seemed to recognize him, but he was lurking in the shadows.

By the time I left the venue, the star coach was gone, so either D&P bolted right away, or they got a sedan service to a local hotel. It is a long drive to Nashville, but they *could* also be flying this leg. Flying would gain them a good night's rest in real beds, and maximize their day off on Monday.

Wow. I haven't actually bothered to read any tour reviews, so this kind of... destroys me. I guess it's the same old but...

I'm taking it all kind of personally today tbh. Maybe because I grew up and am currently stuck in Russia, where being gay was and is... not ideal. Those of you from less human rights conscious countries may relate to the struggle of growing up, trying to figure out WTF is wrong with you, desperately searching for something to relate to, - of course, Western kids go through it too, but in our case we had absolutely no resources to turn to. Hell, a Russian mother recently had a child taken away from her because he was gay and she commited the great offense of telling him it was okay.

If at that desperate age I found Dan and Phil and latched onto them, and then found out they weren't actually together, I'd probably be completely devastated and lost my trust for the world forever.
