Imo their channels look like they don't have the right ideas right now. Phil is doing better, but his videos seem a bit forced to mee too (but that could just be me). Dan's channel really doesn't leave any doubt with me that he's in a creative low. The few videos he's uploaded recently (or in over a year) have been collabs or something like reacting to old/baby videos. So i can't be angry at them for that
Their gaming channel is different though. They'd just need to sit down and get filming
Generally they both seem like they overthink everything way too much, especially Dan. Also i think they should learn to delegate their workload. I get that they don't want to give up any creative decisions, but there are a lot of things that could easily be done by someone else without losing authenticity. The planning of the tour comes to mind. They could have hired people to plan and organize while still being in control of the actual stageshow.
This is a bit backward in topic (you all move fast) but I agree with this, especially the overthinking. I think they do a lot in the background and have side projects we don't realize, and then try to do a lot themselves and not delegate. Like, I swear Phil mentioned at one point he was the one on the phone with one of the venues? I understand that would be incredibly time consuming, and less time for videos and what not, but why in the world was he the one doing that part? They desperately need to hire someone to do all those little things. It's okay, they will not accidentally out you if they book/chat with the venue staff or buy props for a video.
But yeah, the time between videos can be frustrating.

And it's another two weeks till Texas. They might die. I lived there for a year and the summer was just.so.hot. It was like, you go outside, physically melt, and then buy some ice cream, only to watch it melt in approximately three seconds.
But there might just be phan in shorts, and that could be fun.
