thank you
everyone! I'm very shy with sharing my creative things so your nice comments mean a lot!

greatnessflicker thank you for this! you actually made something that will fit very well in a magazine, I wasn't even thinking about doing quick and precise content like that, I was already angsting over writing something big to fit a whole page

thank you! The plant thing was only because of your original suggestion!
Okay, as for what I can contribute. I have about a year's worth of experience in copyediting and copywriting for a magazine professionally*, so I would love to help edit the written stuff. I don't actually think an editor needs to have any professional experience with English, but I just say that because my ability to write for publication is the only skill of mine that I have confidence in. Also, any non-native speakers do not need to worry about the language barrier :^)
I mess around on photoshop for fun, so I contribute to that (perhaps alongside
Poe?), as well. Although I'll need some fine-tuning. I just noticed that the "p" in "improve" and the "l" in "relationship" in my plant page bleed into each other. ugh
As for actual writing, I'm not that creative despite my degree. However, writing the plant thing was fun, and I should challenge myself more, so I'd love to contribute an article or two. I'll get back to you all when I think more on it.
Plus, I'll only be working 40hrs/week this summer (if that), so I am willing to take on some responsibility.

If you take this approach, it follows that we shouldn't worry about who will eventually read it (deppy included), as long as it's fun for us. I would go for "include whatever anybody wants to write, within bounds of reason of course, maybe not serious unironical top/bottom discussions ty very much" approach.
agreed! we need to find that sweet balance between "organized" and "fun." The last thing I'd want is for this to turn into work, haha.
Also, I think we should cull from what IDB has already created, with the authors' permission, of course. Exactly what
daphenaxa said. We could include the what's-in-dan's-hair-meme,
oqua's fics and fake DM's, and if we do a TATINOF review section, people have already posted about their experiences. Same for the conspiracy theories section. All it would take is to do a little bit more digging into the posts already created and coming up with something a bit more polished. Find one or two or people really invested in #busgate and ask them to contribute their findings of the bus layouts and that email that was sent lol.

I'd love to be responsible for this, though since you started the thread it's your call! :^) or we could collaborate!
*the alarming amount of typos in my posts (and my tendency to disobey rules of prescriptive grammar such as capitalization) suggests otherwise, but IDB, twitter, and tumblr are the only place I let myself make mistakes. I promise that I can perform well when I actually get myself into that mindset!
