Well allow me to tell you you are wrong then. Your comment made me go WTF out loud irl.

I think bi people are entitled to identify as actually bisexual and not "gay and straight". Lots of us would say we're gay because this word is more widely used and maybe more common/accepted, which doesn't mean we owe anyone an explanation or clarification as to our sexuality.

when we move servers and get a thank button, we'll all be thanking the hell out of each other's posts in a frenzy the first few weeks, haha. i lurk so much lately and *still* go to do it when i don't have time to participate, such is the ingrained habits of the place that shall not be named...

my reaction to refreshing the page and seeing blown-up, diagrammed Dan's iris:

manged and missemma, catch me up on busgate, what is the significance of Phil being opposite him? do we know that that fabric is only in the headboard and not in the lounge of the bus or something? to be fair even if it was, they could just be chilling in there to lay down and watch the tv as the screen would be bigger than a laptop.

It's mannerisms I've learned to understand from being behind the scenes. And I would bet you $50 that that letter never returned to D&P's hands and got tossed 5min after those girls walked away.
I think you're reaching a bit with the I bet you $50 part but other than that, I agree with you. The whole thing, especially Phil's pen grab, felt a little too professional to me. I could sense that they were in a hurry and wanted to politely but efficiently get it over with. You could argue that the only slip in their professionalism was the fact that I could sense their hastiness. Naturally these are not stone set facts but just my intuitions. However, it shows me why I'm probably not cut out for the M&G situation. The same intuitions would probably kick in.
Right from the get-go on that video there's someone in the background trying to brush off the fans and chivvy inside.
They stopped, they had a brief chat, did pic(s) and signed stuff, yet again putting interacting with fans (however quickly) above the wishes of those, well, those whose lives/work would be easier if they could box up and transport them from place to place and event to event like the set pieces(!)
I don't think it's fair to slate them until/unless we start seeing them ignoring/marching past fans waiting for them without so much as a "hi/how're you doing"
Oh no, I definitely didn't try to slate them. I appreciate the fact that they did stop and had a quick chat with the viewers. I just noticed the hurry and perceived some cold yet polite professionalism, displayed not only by the people in the background but by Deppy themselves, and that bummed me out ever so slightly. However, it doesn't surprise me if you don't see Deppy's behaviour the same way as I do, we're talking about little facial and vocal hints here and that is a very subtle matter, open to subjective interpetations.

Re, the sexuality talk. Let me just say that during the current part of the convo I must thank mermaidblood and internetakeover for expressing what I feel better than I ever could. And sorry 2old4thisshite but, just as those people expressed, if there's some logic or empathy in your post it eludes me completely

I must say, you defend your claims on Dan's sexuality very aggressively.
My mouth was literally hung open when I finished reading your post. I feel like you think bisexuality is switch on/switch off sexuality, you don't wake up everyday thinking "oh i'm gonna be so straight today" or "oh i'm gonna be so gay today", that's not what it is like, bisexuality is a sexuality of its own it's not mix of two sexualities.
And I'm struggling to understand why someone who is bi is liar and an ass to you.

But anyway, let's move on :sideeye:

I thin that might be a TV rather than a window, it appears high up enough to work as a bus TV & the shape is kinda that funy oval-ish square that old TVs have.

(As we know, the TV is in the master bedroom & faces the only bed, or they might be in the lounge, not sure if there's a TV, too.)

You might be onto something here! What if it's a draw me like a French girl situation with Dan being the painter and Phil the model?

This is out of topic so I apologize for that but what I meant was that I personally use the word gay sometimes in some situation because I feel more comfortable with it or for some other reasons that I haven't identified yet. It's all about context as well and maybe I cannot find a better way to explain it? Sorry about that :/.
I just wanted to react about 2old4thisshite's post because I don't agree at all.

I just want people to understand that Dan and Phil as well as everyone else don't owe anyone an explanation however they may talk about their sexuality.

My point stands.

I only see his laptop in front of him but pushed off his legs to take a selfie with his damn long arms, and that weird thing on the bottom corner may be his sleeve.

Now, it being such a closed-up picture makes me think he consciously wants to avoid people figuring out the type of coach DP are using. Not that I have checked twice each of the coaches in the Four Seasons website to see if anything matched, mind you :sideeye:

When all of this busgate thing exploded, we found a second website with many pictures of this particular brand of coaches, does anybody has the link?

Well there hasn't been any content for ages so yes, we are getting desperate.

I don't know why Dan would have posted a photo like that if he was in the lounge. Why would he need to post such a limited view of his pjs, if he was just on a couch surely he could have got Phil to take a proper photo or he could have taken a proper selfie, because you know, he has long arms that are ideal for taking them. #phanconfirmed

haha I'm mostly joking in my post but you know I'm right.

I think it's more likely that he just didn''t want us to see any of the layout of the tourbus because he knows we're super stalkers. Little did he know what the phandom can do with just the reflection of his pupil

I don't mean to be rude, but I don't see how other people's posts are ''attacking you''? Yes, people are disagreeing with you. I'm not sure what you were expecting. All I see are people, quite eloquently I think, expressing their opinion about the matter. Some people got a bit sassy, admittedly. I think a lot of on here are so used to jumping to the defense to justify our own sexualities that we've gotten tired of being nice. But If I left the board every time people started disagreeing with me or sassing me, I would have been gone by now. I understand that you might feel backed into a corner by people's opinions, but there's no need to leave.

2old4thisshite, you sound exactly like my mother. I think we had this same conversation before. It's a bit unnerving. Are you actually my mom?

I think that's one of the most biphobic things I've heard this month along with the shitty article about Amber Heard's bisexuality "ruining her marriage"(what the fuck, Johnny's abuse ruined their marriage and her life) and my (now ex friend haha ) friend who is a lesbian saying that bi women who "end up with men" are traitors and cowards. And your post being side by side with these statements is saying something. Bisexuality is a complete sexual orientation on its own, it's not a perfect 50/50 mix of homosexuality and heterosexuality. It's not in between gay and straight. Bisexuality is not gay when dating the same gender and straight when dating a different gender. Also, bisexual people are attracted to two or more genders. What about that? Are they gay or are they straigt or liars and asses? when they're in love with agender person? Genderfluid? What if they are polyamorous and dating a woman and a man at the same time?
Educate yourself on the subject before saying something like this pls, or be ready to be educated by us angry queers

And most importantly...Dan changes his Twitter header. #BOTTOMCONFIRMED.
