That's what I'm guessing yeah, maybe they didn't have time to check it out much when they were there before? I think the crew are all in Minneapolis, Minnesota, so like a 6 hour drive from Chicago so it must be more than a day trip? So confused right now by all this..
I don't think they ever left Chicago. They had the tour there for two days, and then Milwaukee is only an hour or so way I think. I bet they just stayed in their Chicago hotel that night, and for the past two? nights they've had off. That way they get a good chunk of time in one place.

I do hope they do a live show tonight.

I agree with this. Most likely going to fly to Minneapolis. About a 2 hour flight. Which would mean they may be in Chicago totally alone, because the bus would have to meet up with them in MN eventually and would have left today or dropped them off after the show and went on ahead. Where is Drake? He doesn't seem to be with them either. Hmmmm

Yeah I'm not convinced that they're the same but haven't found anything closer so far, I gave up because there are way too many different yet very similar sunglass designs out there and I have no idea what brands to start with
Can't believe we didn't get a liveshow today either, it's been so long sine Phil's done one it's crazy.. They have saturday off and then a few days next week so maybe then? Starting to lose hope though

The mods know the person who runs that tumblr, and we had asked them if they would use it to promote the forum early on. There's no need to ask them to delete it, especially at this point.

Yeah I have given up too. I found some ray bans that are really similar but it is just the nose bridge that I cannot find with thick frames at the top!
Literally looked through sunglasses Hut, selfridges, house of Fraser, nordstrom and nothing.
The Dior composit ones are the most similar but they aren't it.

Sorry I didn't mean to be a jerk about it, I just imagined the forum getting too big and didn't like the idea. I'm glad that we know who the poster is and I'm glad we had a good reason for posting it.

Of course they've been lurking for a while. Think about it: there are like 30 regular users (more or less), out of 579 total members. Right now, there are 61 users online, where 38 are guests.

This forum is public and can join whoever wants to, regardless of their age. If a random tumblr phangirl came here she would see that we're pretty chill and nice, so it wouldn't make much sense to shitpost "omggggzzz phan is real they were sitting close i can't even". And, just like in every community, whenever someone is out of line, they get a social correction of sorts.

I completely disagree. that forum isn't a secret private club and I think that is very cool of that user to have posted the link. If the people that saw their post take the time to check the forum and stay, it is that they are interested in participating in it or at least reading the analysis and posts of others. Also we are not Kiro running from the government. Everything discussed really isn't more sensitive than what people discuss on twitter or tumblr.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to over-react but I've had a small online community get flooded with trolls in the past due to someone posting a link on an external site, so I got a little scared. I didn't mean to imply that age matters in the fandom nor did I mean to imply that we were an exclusive or private club. I just didn't want it to become a worse place than it is now because I really love this forum and I think it's run magnificently and everyone on it is lovely.

I totally agree with you daphenaxa! I'm a bit surprised by the reaction to this situation.

I know that everyone has kind of clarified their points and made it clear that they didn't mean to exclude anyone, which is great. But I still just wanted to add my thoughts. IDB is supposed to be a welcoming, non-exclusionary, non-elitist community. We have forum rules in place to protect the privacy of Dan and Phil and their families/acquaintances when it comes to sensitive topics. We definitely don't "talk about sensitive things on here that the greater phandom shouldn't really know about" — what is the "greater phandom"? We're all part of the same phandom. If people are interested in what we talk about here they are more than welcome to come, lurk, register, join in the conversation. Literally everyone was a lurker once. I don't think anyone, no matter where they come from, should ever feel like an outsider or unwelcome to post! As others have said, the more the merrier! I personally WANT new people to find us. Obviously, I don't want IDB to be flooded with trolls, but new voices are always welcome! Everyone has an interesting opinion to share and no one should be looked on as an intruder on our community. That's just my two cents.

[offtopic]Ok so last night the hubby and I were at a restaurant and there were these two teenage girls sitting across from us and they were talking (more like screeching/ breaking the sound barrier

) about Deppy and showing pictures of them off their phones and it was like THE MOST SURREAL EXPERIENCE. Like they are in Internet land and I've never actually talked about them with someone in person, so hearing another human talk about them was the weirdest thing EVER.
