That would be epic I need more demon Phil in my life! The Phandom is so protective of Phil that they got insulted at posting the Dan picture  And Phil doesn't even follow NathanZed back on twitter (get on that Philly :sideeye: )

Also fancybum thanks for the crabsticks find It really saddens me that DP lost connection with crabsticks because they got too busy. On one hand I understand that they were busy and he was essentially depressed and distant but I feel like he still sort of remembers and that gets in the way of them rebuilding something. They are taking baby steps though. I also don't want people to pressure him to collab with them but instead want him to eventually be open to it.

Hi all. Who should I follow/Where do I go on Twitter or Youtube to see the panel (not the Q&A one)? The one on periscope has no audio.

This is the reason why it's hard living on literally the other side of the world from them. It's literally
"You say good morning
When it's midnight...
I wake up to your sunset
And it's driving me mad
I miss you so bad
And my heart, heart, heart is so jet-lagged"

for me and them.

Vidcon was a weird but overall fun experience. Being there felt almost electric, with everyone around you sharing a common interest.
That being said... That was the atmosphere on the first day. People enjoying themselves and enjoying the community that we all had together, and realizing it was a powerful thing.
That was not the atmosphere on the last day (tonight as I am writing this). I saw people fighting, racing each other and pushing each other for seats, screaming over their favorite creators just to get their attention, people completely forgetting the existence of other people around them in order to get two seconds of attention. It baffled me, honestly, and 90% of this was aimed at deppy.
We need to realize that YouTube, deppy etc are things that bring us together. The fan meetup was great, and it reminded us of that (until I got pushed into a chair lol). I don't know about you, but I much prefer the atmosphere on the first day, over the last day. Just because someone you watch is in front of you, doesn't mean they owe it to pay attention to you. They're there for a reason, and you can be excited but when you go out of your way and make people around you uncomfortable or the creator the self uncomfortable... It's too much. Too much. And I know this is common sense for most people here, but... Irl... Even the 22 year old was screaming too loud and interrupting Phil. There's no one stereotype, that's what i learned. It honestly made me very uncomfortable, and so I thought I would just point it out.
As awful as that made me feel, seeing deppy at the meet and greet area and seeing all the youtubers that I did meet was such a pleasant experience... A bit trippy, but in the best way. It comforted me, in a way, especially when I asked them how they were doing (thy looked a bit surprised every time I asked that lol). it did comfort me to have them look at my face instead of a camera, to hug them and realize they have bones and organs and that they know how much we value their well-being... And just to verbally say "thank you" and to have them say "your welcome." I know some people don't enjoy meet and greets, but that is what they have meant to me this Vidcon.
Wow I got sappy and real lol... But I just wanna end with how genuinely beautiful Dan and Phil were in person and how nice people were in general (I made a few friends) and that there is hope for us... We're not all whisker-wearing, chair-pushing, creator-interrupting inconsiderate people.
My video of the panel is uploading as I type this. I tried my hardest to get it to you guys (like legit went out of my way by like hours and hours for you) so I hope you can at least get something out of it.

Do you guys think that maybe D&P decided they don't want to be in any vlogs or party pictures? It kinda seems that way at this point. Maybe they were just extra cautious and wanted to make sure everything about their private lives stayed private. I don't know, that would be kinda extreme but I wouldn't really put it past them? What do you guys think, coincidence we have no footage or deliberate?

THANK YOU MANGO!! And thank you for saying that about Vidcon. Hearing that people were pushing and running is really disheartening, I was hoping that the atmosphere would be great throughout, but oh well, I guess that's what you have to expect at a youtube convention and especially in the phandom, I feel like even when people want to be calm, it can be hard to keep it together around someone they really look up to, so i can hardly blame them for that? Still though, sad to hear it took away from your experience. ): Did you have an overall good time though? Yes?

I'm so sleepy right now... so
1)Is horrible that people doesn't know how to behave. It should be common sense but as I grow up I learn that common sense is not so common.
2)Thanks for filming it will watch when I wake up.

Thank you so much for the video especially since it sounds like you had to stay in the room through previous panels for a decent view..? Sounds like the phandom behaved the same as they did at SITC last year. It was only in the queue for their panel so I'm guessing it'll all be calmer without them this year. It's bad enough seeing it, but actually being pushed into something, or pushed at all :sideeye:

That nude-gamers-with-deppy fanart by Maddox Rider was so cute, I love the way she's drawn Dan looking worried and pulling up the cover, and Jack with Pewds' bum as a pillow.

More from Chris I've been loving him in films lately, PJ's new one was good.

Wow, Phil playing that video and smiling maliciously to boot... what an angel. I wonder if Dan retaliates any further.

There was only chaos if you wanted to find seats in the middle front sections (especially in those front rows).

For the Variety Show (in the Arena), the floor was pretty full most of the time. I showed up right at 2 and the floor looked full but a few people walked in throughout the first part and managed to find seats. The middle balcony section (where I sat) was mostly full but I still managed to find a front row (balcony) seat. The upper balcony was mostly empty. I wasn't there for the beginning so I'm not sure how chaotic it was.

For the panel (at the mainstage), things were pretty packed just before and as the previous panel was ending people started mobbing the front sections before being pushed back by security and told to wait until the current panel was over. Then obvi there was chaos to find seats. But there were seats in outermost sections throughout the entire panel. I came in time to see the chaos but just went one section over from the middle, (still a front section) and managed to get a second row seat right in front of the screen and still within view.

It's no problem! And I do completely understand that people get excited, I was expecting that, but I was not expecting the fighting or the interrupting. It messed with my head a bit. Maybe I'm an innocent mango but I thought people would be nice throughout the whole weekend, not just the first day. Overall though I had SO much fun. I wish I was well-off enough to do this every year lol
