Dan & Phil Part 18: disgustingly & inappropriately cute

Why would someone who's dead set on hiding the fact that he dyes his hair black even release a book containing pictures of his younger self with brown hair? Why would he state the obvious?

Well at least it got me laughing which is more than I can say about Dan and Phil for the last two months, I love stanning dead channels.

Anyways, I knew Phil's eyebrows were light/a different color than his dyed hair, but in those photobooth pictures they really stood out to me. Have some super bad photo edits of him with filled in brows:



Note I don't mean these edits as like a "this is what 100% what he should start doing and this is the only correct way to manage your appearance," I was just interested in what the darker eyebrows would actually look like (as an amateur makeup artist) and I was bored and had 5 minutes to play on Photoshop.
I for one actually like the fact his eyebrows don't match, it's interesting and kind of quirky in a nice way

I think at the time the general consensus was "it looks weird" and "he looks a lot younger." Interesting to see other opinions popping up!

On a similar but also different topic, I've been trying to imagine Phil going back to his root hair color, and honestly I just can't see it. Again, he should do as he pleases, but I really love him with his black hair and seeing him any other way would just feel bizarre. (But I'm also a sucker for dark hair and bright eyes. )

I know the conversation has moved on, but I just watched the first Don't Hug Me I'm Scared and it reminded me so much of D&PCrafts, especially Glitter Faces. I'd find it very hard to believe that they weren't inspired by it, subconsciously at least

Firstly, let me just tell you that these are amazing.

Secondly, if he is going to dye his eyebrows, he should also dye his lashes. It would look a lot less "off".

Yeah, I can't see Phil wanting to go back to his natural light-brown hair and would want to keep it dyed. however, I can see him switching to a dark brown instead and subconsciously become more and more like Dan, the two guys have been blending into the one person, I'm surprised we're still able to tell them apart at this point

I got nothing but sarcasm from Phil in that video talking about his natural hair color. As others have said it's incredibly obvious due to his natural color of his eyebrows, so I wouldn't expect him to address it every single time? apathy I loved your edit (the real one, lmao) and think he might actually look great like that. Although he does have that gorgeous natural arch that I am jealous af about.

At the risk of sounding twee, I'm happy with the way Phil looks right now (though the fringe being pushed aside sometimes would not go amiss ). I've never thought his hair was natural, both because of his eyebrows and because he's the wrong complexion to have jet black hair. In my experience, anyway.

You can see his natural brown hair in last year's Halloween baking video, because of the shaved sides.

I can understand now why other youtubers tend to "copy" Phil's idea, he has this trend setter vibe or he knows what stuff makes others want to "imitate". His poem tweet is so lame but everyone seem to just want to give it a go, he has this ability to pin-point something as trivial as that and made it a trend to follow.

My god i'm having an epiphany here. I've always thought Phil came from some otherworldly place. A more innocent place, where man and animal live together and peacefully enjoy the many bounties of the earth.
The loss of his beautifully odd accent, his hair turning black, that picture of him with the kangaroo... finally the pieces fall together.
