[offtopic]I realized a little bit ago that Dan never shows his nipples on camera. (inspired by him blurring his nipples in his most recent videos) He shows them in "5 Kinds of Drunk People" and I think that's it. Even in the Jamaica footage he hides them most of the time. Is he insecure about them? Does he wish he had a larger, more muscular chest? Or does he think it's gender equality to not show nipples? [/offtopic]

Ohhhh, I have always wanted this to be brought up, because I used to have a theory that Dan has a nubbin (the surprisingly common, teeny-tiny, third nipple). Why? Because, when shirtless, he'd always cross his arm over his chest the same way and, I can't pin-point it now, but I feel like one of his videos had him pulling up a blanket to reveal maltesers and it was there? There's also a video somewhere where he states "I don't have a third nipple" with a defensive undertone (that I probably imagined).

In any case, the theory was developed on a night where I was especially bored and feeling silly. I think I eventually concluded that it was just a mole. However, given the circumstances of recent nipple-blurring, perhaps that's not the case.

As for the discussion being had outside of this, I agree with those who are saying D&P are skating by with sub-part content and posting. I've said it a billion times, but the US tour was the nail in the coffin for me. An opportunity to really put out unique, interesting videos/tweets/posts that really wouldn't have needed any work at all - their forte - and they still didn't do shit. I'm honestly just here because I've fallen too far into the trashcan. I mean seriously I just wrote about Dan's non-existent 3rd nipple.

This is the kind of topic I can participate in without getting a headache

I would think that if Dan is self-conscienious about it, he could easily have it removed by a plastic surgeon. It's a simple procedure that can be done with local anesthesia in an office setting. He certainly can afford it, and I know if I had one, I would have it hacked off pronto.

It's a late post from when they flew home. Phil was wearing the California jumper in fan pictures at the airport.

Is it just me or does the picture look like they took it for themselves and posted it because we kept complaining there wasn't enough content? Usually Phil has exaggerated faces with bugging out eyes in his public pictures but this looks like a picture they took for their own amusement. Glad they shared. It's cute. Like bluebox-away said imagine them taking this picture.

The picture is beautiful and I'm so happy they shared it but I have to agree! Everytime there's a drought they tend to do damage control. Today's was Dan indirecting the Phandom with some attention while Phil posts a hot picture with phan undertones. They were probably aware from lurking Twitter that many were frustrated at their lack of content with no excuse and thought they needed to makes things less dry. The no liveshows didn't help their case and the news that they were filming videos for next week also made things worse.

I'm now interested to see the hit their channels take in views when the next vid releases. They haven't been dropping subs but youtube views have taken a slight dip. I want to see how much they can get away with while still keeping the phandom's passionate loyalty. Also with the phandom I often see an new cycle of fans coming in so even if they do lose a chunk they still (if they get back on schedule) have the charm and bants to attract a new crowd.

I for one am not frustrated because they are more important that the content. Not because they're hot (that's an added bonus ) but because I grew up with them and am aware that they have the ability to be creative, they are just lazy to do it. So I'm just going to cruise on and wait for content then be critical if it's not good.

Is the phandom too Dan centric?

I had a very long waffle typed up and then it was lost because GG is infuriating. I'll summarize:

I have a theory that some people only really care about Dan's sexuality. It's kind of cynical to say, but there is a segment of the Phandom that wants Phil to address his own sexuality publicly because it validates what Dan has been doing lately. I've said it before, but Phil's role within the Phandom for some people seems to be the "Dan validator". I think people are less concerned about Phil the individual as opposed to Phil the "guy who needs to come out so Dan doesn't feel alone". It's amazing how little that thinking has to do with Phil's happiness, let alone Dan's.

This doesn't cover everyone, obviously. I tend to think that most people aren't that callus. Sexuality is an important part of people's lives and I hope that everyone feels comfortable enough to do so in their own time and at their own comfort level. The desire to see Phil and Dan come out has bugged me because it always seems to be about Dan. Are they a couple? I have no clue. Does a coming out by either of them affect that perception? Perhaps but is less important they what they have forged together. Phil's sexuality seems to be secondary which diminishes a real, and very important moment in his life.

I'm not even sure that people want Phil to "reveal" any more in live shows, or videos because everything seems to revolve around Dan and Dan's happiness. I think Phil needs to be criticized for things he does, but not for immediately validating things Dan does. If this makes sense. (I had written more but stupid GG and it's technical glitches, sorry)

My instinct is to say wow, I think looking at this list makes me think they are changing. But it also just may be because I haven't seen Phil in a liveshow giving too-few opinions or Dan in a liveshow giving uninformed/pretentious/trying too hard to be relatable opinions in so long that I no longer immediately associate those things with them.

I think both of them have toned down the played up aspects of their personalities that get attributed to personas, though I am also not sure whether that's completely by design or just because they have so much else to do that they're not singularly focused on how they come across on youtube anymore. In Phil's case especially I think it's at least slightly by design, though. Hindering so many natural responses has to be exhausting. He's letting tiny bits show though.

Still want the damn quiff, though. And still love that post by Amazinglyonfire and completely agree with it. There's a reason people develop selective amnesia with Phil's sexuality unless Dan is involved, and amazinglyonfire explained it perfectly.

About #ThirdNippleGate I'm currently studying dem noodes and he's holding his arms (or stuffed animals.. or a controller..) in front of the midsection of his upper body suspiciously often.
