He's looking good.
Also happy that we'll get a new gaming vid tomorrow.

Phil's liveshows are hit and miss for me. I don't always love them. But the whole bingocard business is actually making this ls much more enjoyable for me. Thanks for the idea, Ickle!
Also: "Where are my parents?? They've abandoned me!" Is Dil in Phil's head all of us during this content drought or what.

OMG I was missing it! I should have set an alarm or something! I was outside enjoying the weather and giving myself a pedicure! ahhhhhhhh! I would kick myself, if i didn't want to wreck the lacquer.
Note he does look good. I love him in blue.

Agreed Surprised he didn't cover pancakes yethunnyftw wrote:But the whole bingocard business is actually making this ls much more enjoyable for me. Thanks for the idea, Ickle!
If we all just traded in our knives for cakes, the world would be a better place.

Oh wow I've missed him more than I realized, he's so animated and chatty. Lol at the airport story, I want to hear Dan's version of events on Tuesday. He just let Phil run off into traffic? I'm dying at the mental imagery. And I guess it's unavoidable considering it's so much about the tour, but it's nice how he's talking so much about Dan and expressing OPINIONS. Yay all around.
Thanks and have a great day! Oil me
phils story about him getting his bag back is ridiculous
i can't believe he actually did that
so strange finally seeing another ls and things getting back to normal, i got so bored of the tour stuff so i've not seen them for a while

+1 for me too
Sorry for my english.
I think it made me roll my eyes out loud. +1 on a bingo board.Bassoonage wrote:On a pancake rant....
However, I loved the taxi story. He is a great storyteller. And I really appreciate the fact that he just told it on the spot during the ls as opposed to Dan who would first deliberate for 10minutes about whether to tell the story or save it for the dinof video. Then he would probably decide to save it for the video and then never actually make the damn thing. Ugh, Dan. I love him to bits too, but you all KNOW he'd do that, you just know it.
LITERALLY SAME!Catallena wrote:I tune in and literally the first thing I heard was something about pancakes so I was like
And then there was something about candles...
So I kinda hope I just missed out on all the good stuff tbh :')
He's shaped up since though, "That's what you get for having a bird" LMAOOOO, WRECKED!
Edit: And now he's humming and braiding his hair hahaha, I swear it's like watching Dan he's so hyperactive.

That airport taxi story. I nearly died! i can actually imagine him doing that. Can't wait to hear Dan's side on Tuesday.
I don't think I have been so excited for a DIl video! DAPG tomorrow than Dan Ls on Tuesday. We are going to be spoiled with content.
New Amazingphil video about the houseplants
He is so excitable and he is on longer than 45 minutes.

Loved how excitable he seemed. I missed Phil, I really did. Taxi story was a gem, singing that somebody’s mum “has got it going on” and then promptly realizing that he’d like to take it back made ma laugh out loud.
And here’s my bingo board. I swear I'd written everything before the ls actually started. The underlined stuff is what I consider covered. When there are question marks it means I’m not sure if I should underline it or not. Anyway, it looks like he covered around 12.5-14 out of my 16 points. I’m a pro if I do say so myself

That was a fantastic Phil liveshow, imo, as long as it's just the start of the normal routine resuming and not the only one we'll get for another three months. He was visibly nervous in the start but he warmed up and got into it. It's not like he broke new ground in any regards but he did Phil things and he did Phil things well. Annoyed he didn't tell tour stories, but I'm sure he's saving them to monetize somehow and the airport story more than made up for it. Tell me more, Phil, tell me more of how in the moment of a stressful situation Dan quietly tries to find solutions while you freak out, tell me more of the way you two work in tandem. Pajama week and pancake cleanses and candle sniffing and hair braiding - cute cute cute. Idc how played out it is, I didn't have super high expectations so Phil met them.
I'm glad we get a video tomorrow, even if it's Dil. I'm assuming their company will be wirrony bc he rarely ever publicly mentions friends coming over if it's anyone but them so maybe we'll get a cute "random pic of the board game setup" instagram from one of them.
His next video is about houseplants, that's fine, it's all fine, make whatever videos you want to make as long as you're fucking making them again. (Except you, Dan, I don't want to see another school-related video, you already blew your freebie crap video bingo slot on my card.)

That was pretty enjoyable! Since Phil purposely didn't tell us much about what happened while on tour bc it would've been too much, I hope he's saving those for a video....but since there's so many stories I doubt he'll cover it all in one video. Maybe we'll have more luck with Dan's liveshow
I wish they'd do a joint liveshow to debrief us on interesting things that happened that they didn't already film for the US tatinof DITL/tour documentary

I made my "bingo card" while waiting for a coat of nail polish to dry, and I did a pretty good job. I think though that I either made it too vague or too easy as I got 14 out of 16. And I may have gotten all 16 but wasn't there for the first 20 mins!
I'm pretty sure it was too easy : (*= checked off)

YAY!!! I really enjoyed the LS - IT'S BEEN SOOOOOOO LONG!
But great to know things are getting back to normal, and vids are happening, and LSs and stuff and things... I KNEW Dil would be first, and my theory about problems with transferring him to travelling on the Mac were proven right. Poor lil dude.
Oh my days, that airport story.
Been in a similar situation myself, with having a credit card that expired 4 hours before my check in, and an excess baggage charge to pay... at least they were at the airport early enough so it wasn't a problem, and he managed to catch upto the driver (but yeah... walking into traffic may not have been the smartest move Philly - can't wait for some Phanart of that (and "pyjama week" soon...!)

I love the taxi story. I mean, it was really stressful situation, but i like adventures like this - with happy ending and good story to tell. ^^'hunnyftw wrote:Loved how excitable he seemed. i usually don't like phil's LSs but that was a delight. he was so giggly and entertaining!
dan and phil having "pajama week" is adorable, as is the thought of them playing mario kart on the tv by his tourbus bed.
a couple interesting points to note: when he talked about his personality type and said "I'm not sure you can really put people in so many boxes and just say they're a thing when they're a thing" ...sounds like the suspicion that phil is pretty anti-label is correct...This comment lowkey reminds me of the gerard way tweet dan faved recently that said "I don't use labels for anything. Using labels only gives others the leverage needed to categorize you or use you as a political tool." It just seems to me the two of them share the same belief that categorizing, sorting, and labeling individuals is a moot point and not something they would be inclined to do to themselves.
I was also intrigued by Phil referring to himself as a "boy" when he was telling the airport story and said "and the driver was just like 'why is there a boy knocking on my window.'" The driver hadn't rolled down the window yet so phil didn't actually hear the man refer to him as a boy, he ad-libbed that word into the story himself. I find that an almost-30-year-old man referring to himself as a boy in another grown man's eyes is kinda peculiar. Seems to speak to phil's own resistance to aging... Anyway, that's enough armchair-psychologizing for me! Overall super pleased by this liveshow!

I think I was missing some Phil time even more than I knew I did. What a delightful liveshow! Besides the lack of tour related stories and pancake talk (which I'm happy he's stopping with for a while), I liked everything. The nervous energy he had going on for most of the liveshow actually made him funnier. There were times he seemed to go mad in the middle of telling something and it had me in stitches.
I'm with all the rest of you who can't wait for Dan to tell his side of the airport story, 'cause... What the hell Phil??? You don't go running around on traffic to stop a taxi, bad Phil tsc tsc
Also waiting for people to analyse his dream, come on.
Now I'll be waiting till tomorrow for new Dil, yay?

Aw, having fun irl made me miss the liveshow bingo board, I loved that idea. If you do if for Dans then count me in (even though I'll be out I'll do on in advance).
Loved Phils liveshow, he was hyper and interesting and it was just nice to see him. 3 months away from liveshows made me smile to see him back (give me a few weeks and I'll be back moaning about how boring he is during them dw). The story of him at the airport made me chuckle, especially when he said he got back to the luggage and Dan was sitting there playing a game on his phone, good way to help your biffle out. I can just imagine Phil running through lax like a headless chicken all flustered.
Glad to hear he missed filming videos as much as we were suffering through the drought. Looking forwards to some gaming videos now! Not so struck on the idea of the houseplants videos but hey, not gonna complain, content is content and I don't expect anything mind blowing from Phil.
Oh and also, him and Dan keep saying that if they download Pokemon Go it'll interfere with their other apps - wrong. It doesn't interfere at all, they wanna just download it and get to level 8 like me (totally addicted to it).
