Yeah I noticed that as well. Really hope that they did film more than one though.
When they tweeted us (me and lurkingtrash) they've said "the first episode w/ them will be out on Sunday" to me it sounds like there will be several episodes

Edit : soooo HAPPY that we're gonna have a video tomorrow

I missed Phil so much, so much more than I thought I did.

I noticed that as well! Intresting.
I loved how Phil called Dil "baby" and called him a "parent" which is pretty un-phil like.

I found this interesting in reading in depth about someone's personality.
As referenced in his liveshow that his mbti personality type was "INT something". These are the 16 personality types:
Image
Judging from the list, I'm assuming he's an INTJ personality type.

"It’s lonely at the top, and being one of the rarest and most strategically capable personality types, INTJs know this all too well. INTJs form just two percent of the population (...) it is often a challenge for them to find like-minded individuals who are able to keep up with their relentless intellectualism and chess-like maneuvering. People with the INTJ personality type are imaginative yet decisive, ambitious yet private, amazingly curious, but they do not squander their energy."
http://www.16personalities.com/intj-personality

This site gives a pretty good description of the personality type.
Strengths: Quick, Imaginative and Strategic Mind, High Self-Confidence, Independent and Decisive, Hard-working and determined, Open-minded, Jacks-of-all-Trades
Weaknesses: Arrogant, Judgmental, Overly analytical, Loathe highly structured environments, Clueless in romance
Emotions: INTJs are defined by their confidence, logic, and exceptional decision-making, but all of this hides a turbulent underbelly – their emotions. The very notion of emotional expression is synonymous with irrationality and weakness to many INTJs, a display of poor self-governance and fleeting opinion that can hardly stand up to the enduring light of factual truth.
Romance: In romance, people with the INTJ personality type approach things the way they do with most situations: they compose a series of calculated actions with a predicted and desirable end goal – a healthy long-term relationship. Rather than falling head over heels in a whirlwind of passion and romance, INTJs identify potential partners who meet a certain range of pre-determined criteria, break the dating process down into a series of measurable milestones, then proceed to execute the plan with clinical precision.
Friendship: People with the INTJ personality type tend to have more success in developing friendships than they do with romantic relationships, but they none-the-less suffer from many of the same setbacks, substituting rational processes for emotional availability.

they're defs in more than one episode - funforlouis (i think?) shows the clothes changing react video process where reacters bring in more than one set of clothes for filming different episodes and in this photo dan's in yeezus/phil's in illuminati and in the first react they're in, dan's in his weed shirt and phil in his trex- so i'd expect more

EDIT: in this picture dan's wearing his 'pull' shirt - so maybe 3 episodes?

This is interesting. I have never heard of this classification list before. What is it called? This one describes me to a T. Weird. I always tell my husband, who does not understand my affection for these two dorks, that I am like Phil and he is like dan.

I was surprised he said he's INTx, I'd probably type him as INFP. Definitely not an INTJ from my perspective (based on comparison with all the INTJs I know haha). Idk tho. MBTI is fun but I don't take it as seriously as some people do. Still I hope he'll redo the test and tell us what type he actually is, I'm curious now. :D

I'd put Phil as an I-T- ...Dan being I-F-

I went back and checked my results.. It literally came back with every --F- combination possible. So at least it got something down! :thumb:

Myer's-Briggs. I had to take a billion tests like these in community college to figure out what I should do for a living. This version of the test has been making the rounds online & is pretty accurate when compared to the "official" ones I've taken.

I haven't watched the ls yet 'cause I'm saving it for the lull that will be tomorrow (aka work), but I couldn't help & creep IDB. Honestly, I'd be really surprised if Phil is an INTJ since that's what I tend to get on these things (sometimes INFJ... my introversion, intuition, & judgement are constant ) & I don't think I'm anything like Phil personality-wise. More reason to hate boxes & labels. :D

Also, as far as Phil calling himself a boy, I have two years on Phil & I still refer to myself as a girl a majority of the time (or a human!) because woman/lady just sound awkward as fuck & not me at all. I get weirded out when I'm called ma'am, woman, or lady by anyone as well. So keep calling yourself a boy Phil, I'm with ya!

Sooo, liveshow is back!! I'm so happy, I miss feeling connected to Deppy so much. I have lots of things to say about this liveshow (so much that I have to take out my external keyboard rather than typing from my phone keyboard), so this post is probably going to be a long one.

Breaking my opinions into section so it's easier to read.
Philip. I miss Phil so much. He looks more beautiful in videos than all the fan pictures. :D I love how he's so giddy in the liveshow and keep it up to the whole hour.

Dan. Although I hate him for not having liveshow the other day, now I kinda forgive him knowing he has been ill. Poor Dan, please get well soon, and tell us your opinion on Brexit on next Tuesday, thank you very much.

Videos. I have this vibe that there are trying to reconnect with their viewers when Deppy started sharing cheeky pictures and occassionally more frequent twitter updates. I wanna say that they know what they are risking by being so disconnecting during the tour and kinda regret i, so that's good for us because more content.

I think I take what Phil says about react videos as they film a few vids, and Phil wanna talk about what they are all about but he kinda forgot about it when he went on and on about Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. (what is my English)

I am now looking forward to the baking video too, now that Phil had try to sell it to me. We'll see, Philip, we'll see. Also, Phil mentions he love the brownie graveyard the most for some reason but I think my fav is PSPC and green velvet being second.

Dil coming soon. Yay. Poor Dil. I hope we have a Dil week like the old Dilmas back in the glorious 2014 because the lack of Dil's life sometimes makes me forgot that he is a thing, not just a game that pop up once per month.

Houseplant video. The content I subscribed Phil for. I really like him talking about his houseplants because he seems excited about it, so another video I am looking forward to.

Airport Incident
It is kinda funny how in this situation, Dan is the rational one while Phil is the one panicking. They are really good for each other. Truth be told, I probably gonna do the same thing if I was Phil because I have that stupid spontaneously do the first thing that come up in your head eventhough it's stupid (and dangerous) like Phil. I wonder what the police thinks about him when he run across the motorway. He is really me running to catch up on coach around Manchester. #whyisPhilrunnning

He says it is in his top 10 worst eperience in airport, which makes me question, Is there anything worse than this??? Phil is really weird.

Candle
I love the candle haul and his description of Dan's candle. Smells like being hugged by a musky gorilla. ummm... furry confirmed?

miscellanious
-should we bring back the bed/busgate thing? (though we need to wait for Dan's rambling about it to deduce anything)
-amazingcrisp in Phoenix
-PokemonGo comment. "who else travel 800 miles every night?" umm, Dan? He is going to challenge your pokemon master title. Unless you count both of you as one person now.
-INT something personality trait. Interesting because I am INFJ and goes along well with INTJ
-a bit sad nobody ask about the RADIOSHOW. I need to know what's gonna happen to it. :(

Overall, a good show, I miss Phil, Phil is pretty, I hope Dan will gave his side of story about stuff.

Hope this isn't too long. :gg:

My notes from rewatching the liveshow. The times match up with this video.
1:31 - Dan's been sick, aww. I love their pajama week. It doesn't eradicate my bitterness over the lack of content and their shoddy work ethic but the imagery of them doing nothing but playing video games, watching tv, and pajama lounging is sweet.
4:21 - "I don't want to bombard you all with a billion stories about the tour." aka I'm saving those for a video and/or some other more monetized form of sharing.
12:20 - "Dil had to wait at home. He was like 'where are my parents, where did they go?' Phiwwwwww.
12:40 - I love Phil admitting in a roundabout way that he's not an awful gamer when he tries to really learn how to play something. We don't see that in the gaming channel pretty much ever, but we know he finished Fallout 4 and now Doom in the past six months.
17:15 - Bates Motel. People vs OJ. Wonder if Dan will purposefully avoid talking about them? (He mentions Fargo later on, but says he 'just finished watching' it so that might have been pajama week viewing.)
19:10 - Personality traits quiz. He can't remember what he is - INT something? "Not sure you can really put so many people in boxes and just say they're a thing when they're a thing. But a lot of people believe in it."
20:10 - Mario Kart on the "tour bus tv" - I was hoping upon playback I'd hear some hint about whether it was the bed tv or the front of bus tv.
20:53 - when he says "I mean, I've had a pretty stressful few times in my life" I wonder if the vday video leak flashed before his eyes.
22:10 - How much of Phil shitting himself over his backpack being missing was over how much damage could be done by a random fan finding his phone and/or laptop in that car? He could have handled that situtation had the backpack been entirely lost and I know the passport/tickets was probably the most pressing issue but you know it had to cross his mind. I still love that it seems like Dan was the quietly calmer one. Makes me think of Dan with the angry dad, how in an emergency situation Dan reacts in a calmer fashion.
27:01 - "I would have just cried." (I wanna see him cry, but only for a reason like that. Or a video game.)
30:46 - Phil describing oxygen deprivation as "pleasantly light headed" just makes me think autoerotic asphyxiation.
31:43 - "I'm catching Dan's plague." mhMMm too much pajama week bonding time
32:12 - Phil has dreams about youtube restricting his personal freedom, wow, nothing to read into there.
33:25 - Phil woke up at 4 am every night, took him an hour to go back to sleep. Wonder if Dan will mention sleep patterns or veer away?
35:40 - I just imagine Dan in the next room hearing Phil bark and grinning.
43:15 - Phil making random animal noises in livestreams is such a shoutout back to his habit of doing that constantly in old videos. Is that one of those genuine Phil quirks he just decided to smooth out to make himself more palatable to mass audiences?
44:40 - I want all the opinions on horror movies from Phil. He has the perfect attitude to enjoy a horror movie with - not too snobbish with the standards, ready to embrace the cheese and the jump scares.
46:39 - "Don't like waiting." Just makes me think of Dan repeating a few times over the years how impatient Phil is.
48:48 - He went straight to that pastel aesthetic thing. I'll be curious to see if it ties into the actual video he ends up filming or if Phil really is just kind of playing around with clothes.
53:50 - Be more inappropriate, Phil. Be more inappropriate in song form.
55:36 - Phil talking about what Dan did (didn't) take in school made me smile.
56:30 - I missed the Buffy reference first time around!
56:55 - I do believe that he has the app but doesn't use it. I also have no need for them to secretly have a snapchat or even publicly have snapchat bc I think they share more when they're less stressed. Snapchat would be another think to overthink and eventually all-but-abandon.

I wanted to further add to the INTJ discussion, especially regarding social interaction:
I'll be honest here as an INTJ person: INTJ people can be insufferable. I remember following an INTJ blog on tumblr that made me sick as it is full of a lot of people who are self entitled and egotistical. However, despite that there are a lot of INTJ's I know who are nice people. Despite it being a personality test, people can still be different characters and hold different values regarding social interaction and relationships, which is why Phil probably felt the need to address not feeling the need to confine himself in a box, etc. I still find the discussion of the character traits interesting as it reveals what Phil thinks of himself and other people but I felt as if this little unnecessary disclaimer was important as it reveals what Phil might be like with friendships/relationships in general.

I thought Phil corrected himself and said he was an "IN" something? He did initially say "INT" but then took it back and said "IN" because he probably was only sure of the first two letters.

Yeah, he really wasn't sure.

From what I know INTJs tend to be sharp, very intellectual, highly success-driven, determined, but also confrontational, and often more cold and calculated than empathetic. None of it match up with my vision of Phil. (Idk, it's just my opinion.)

Though I agree, the fact that he doesn't like to put himself in a box probably says the most about him. ;)

With phil mentioning him having a weird dream in the live show, I'm surprised no one here or anywhere really has psychoanalyzed it yet! It was something about all youtubers having to wear just all one color and Phil's was a banana yellow. It sounds strange so I wonder what the deeper meaning could be. 8-)

The Myers-Briggs panel that was up a few posts ago only listed 12 of the 16 types. I thing Phil may be an INTP. The "P" vs "J" continuum is how someone prefers to organize their environment to move forward. Js are organized, Ps are more "go with the flow". One isn't better than the other. Myers-Briggs only identifies preferences.
They love patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to an INTP. This makes it ironic that INTPs' word should always be taken with a grain of salt – it's not that they are dishonest, but people with the INTP personality type tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners.

This may make them appear unreliable, but in reality no one is more enthusiastic and capable of spotting a problem, drilling through the endless factors and details that encompass the issue and developing a unique and viable solution than INTPs – just don't expect punctual progress reports. People who share the INTP personality type aren't interested in practical, day-to-day activities and maintenance, but when they find an environment where their creative genius and potential can be expressed, there is no limit to the time and energy INTPs will expend in developing an insightful and unbiased solution.

Advantages of being a Judger Advantages of being a Perciever
They are more scheduled They are more adaptable and easy-going
They are often more organized They have an easier time adjusting to change
They tend to follow the rules better They are more open-minded
If I remember correctly IDB has an unusually high number of INFJs (me, me, me), actually THE rarest of the types. What can I say, great minds think alike!

I actually think that Phil's assertion that you can't put people into boxes is a really intelligent thing to say when it comes to the Myers Briggs type. The Myers Briggs type personality quiz is very popular on the internet but it has no scientific backing what so ever. It was created by a person who just observed different types of people and then split them up into groups. It's a very subjective test. I can see why Phil might be reluctant to let everyone know his quiz score because then people will box him into something that in reality probably doesn't reflect him at all. For example I see people saying things like 'Dan did this because he is such and such personality type' and I hate that. But I also think it's interesting that Phil also doesn't like labels in other parts of his life.

As a psych student I really don't love the intense focus on this personality type because it's unscientific (and I think there are better personality quizzes out there) so Phil not wanting to disclose his Myers Briggs type actually makes him like him more!

i haven't had time to watch the liveshow yet :( but i enjoy mbti discussions (even though i am aware that its a flawed system you can't actually categorize people blah blah let me live some people are into the horoscope, i'm into personality tests, whatever )

as an intp i think phil fits more in the intj category, intj is the rarest of all the personality types (i think?) and phil definitely has a special way to see things, he also comes across as very organized to me (remember in the Japan haul when he got the pokemon organizing file things -i can't remember what those are call lol-) and honestly intps are a mess (i'm saying this as i stare at my pile of everything i need to read for college that i couldn't be bothered to sort into different categories for different subjects and the planner i stopped using in march)

and this came up when i searched intp vs intj and phil seems more intj to me:

I just took the test linked above, and my result was INTP-A (not sure what the "A" denotes.) It seems to be fairly accurate - I'll have to share it with some friends to find out the truth... ;)

OK, so I am amazed that just a few short pages ago, people were ready to put D&P up on a spike (or flail them Ramsey-style (on an "X")) Seriously, maybe some on here would find their test results indicating bipolar disorder...
(OK, sorry to bipolar-shame, it's just a joke, not that being bipolar is something to joke about) grrr I'll just shut up now.

every time i've done the myers-briggs thing (either the real one or the pretend ones online) I get INT-something (usually J, but sometimes P), so i am weirdly amused by phil. we are totes mfeo phil, leave dan and come live with me!

also now i'm in my 40s i pretty much think of myself as a woman, but this is only a fairly recent thing, probably until my mid-30s sometimes i'd feel more girl and sometimes more woman, it'd depend on a lot of things, but i'd be fairly likely to call myself a girl if i was doing something impulsive and stupid, running out in to traffic maybe?

EDITED TO ADD: lol and i just did the quiz linked above and for the first time got ISTP, so WHATEVER MYERS-BRIGGS.

on today's episode of trashqueen sometimes should take a deep breath and not reply to things but she has poor self control:

uglyamerican ugh, you're so annoying, i swear half your posts are attacking members of the forum, calling people bipolar stopped being funny in 2009, and no, no one has mood swings or is bipolar here, people were pointing out how boring it was that they were completely failing at delivering any kind of content whatsoever for weeks, but now they finally had so everyone has moved on, no one, even when it was drought time, said anything negative about them (well except dp333 but that's their job here tbh) except the fact that they were being lazy youtubers, that is far from putting them on a spike, try reading a random gg thread for comparison if you can't tell the difference

Hey, apparently I'm giving you somebody else to focus on rather than D&P. And point of order, I never attack anyone. Glass houses....

As referenced in his liveshow that his mbti personality type was "INT something". These are the 16 personality types:

Re the MBTI discussion, I don't want to take it too seriously bc MBTI is like the astrology of psychology & there is no clinical evidence that it's accurate, but it's funny bc I'm supposedly an INTJ & my best friend texted me once last year out of the blue saying "you remind me so much of phil lester" lmao

A lot of Phil's traits that people on here consider to be non-persona (sorry for using the word lol) - very private, inexpressive face, doesn't seem to show everyday emotions obviously (anger, sadness etc. - compare phil to dan who is a complete open book jfc), but can get really emotional when communicating seriously with people they're close to (vday vid) - that's all kind of INTJ, and personally relateable. I've always liked the idea of Phil being INTJ since someone suggested it on GG ages ago (I think it was jhamba?) bc it kind of fits with how I see him

But again I don't like to take this stuff too seriously idk

Idk I'd like to word this in a less cringey way but I have to leave in 2 minutes yikes

Caught up with what I missed from the liveshow (sleeping at a normal time? don't be ridiculous) and I'm happy to see that I indeed missed the most interesting stuff and it wasn't all pancakes and candles. Still slightly bitter we didn't get a joint liveshow, but we're getting new content this week so I'll zip.

Phil was very energetic and talkative, it was probably his nicest liveshow in a long while because I've been bored out of my mind with them for more than a year now and Phil always seems like he just wants to get it over with. Not this time though, so let's hope this high lasts for a while! Having shit to talk about actually helps I guess. :thumb: I wanted more tour stories though, to hell with a chilled liveshow. And you know what could've prevented you from having to bombard people with a million stories at once Deppy? Sharing them as they happened. But get that money I guess. The taxi story was gold, though Phil really needs to be more careful. Walking into traffic like that... I hope his mum finds out and scolds him for it idc that's he's 29 :tsk:

Ahhh, I really want more stories. Also I missed Dil so I'm looking forward to that and the mysterious new game they played. And I hope Undertale resumes soon, it gotta be the longest Let's Play for that game in history by now. :sideeye:

Also imo Myers-Briggs are like glorified horoscopes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Fun to play around with but taking it seriously is a bit... (not saying that people on here think of it as srs business).
