It took me about twenty minutes of digging, but I finally found a silver lining: when he says "I should have done it out of solidarity. That's one of my biggest regrets, to be honest."

I appreciate the idea that while lightly mocking Phil for a past failure, Dan still expresses that he wished he'd done it too. It feels like Dan saying 'he failed at something but he shouldn't have had to fail alone, and I feel bad for that.'

I'm just going to hope that Dan appreciates that Phil is willing to try and create new things even if they don't always take off, because it isn't something Dan seems brave enough to do on his own.

Well that just made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I agree 100% poor Dan, yay Phil.

idc if I'm really mean rn and on dp333's shit list forever but Toilet Tag is one of the worst things Phil has ever made and it deserved to flop for how bad it was. Phil love, you. can. do. better. I appreciate Dan's attempt at solidarity though.

The fanmade AP roasts are more proof that D&P should just let their audience roast them in a video because the phandom is far better at it than they are. They'd never do that though.

Dan and Phil brought kangaroo onesies, cork hats and shark hats to make a tour announcement for Australia. Then Dan said he's probably still gonna make the video. But it's like 2 weeks til the first show so what even is the point? Probably should have released those extra tickets earlier Dan.

D&P wouldn't be them if they weren't late with everything. Like I'm pretty sure we're getting that second Pokémon Go video when everyone is already over it. I hope they're smart enough to upload that before Undertale, that series is beyond saving at this point anyway.

At the end they would not be the first youtubers to lurk: I heard that on gg there was once emma,carrie and jamie pine.

I think every YouTuber has lurked their GG thread at least once tbh, everyone knows the website exists. A few have the guts to join in under their own name (but they always leave just as quick as they came) but most never dare to bring attention to it. And then there's the annoying people who make some whiny video about haterz and how evil everyone is (Hazel) and others try to join the discussion under a false name pretending to be fan to defend themselves (Carrie) So I'm convinced that D&P have at least looked at their GG thread, but I'm not sure whether they know about IDB. I just hope they didn't visit GG during those early hate threads. (I'm such a hypocrite lol I've lurked and continue to lurk far worse threads on there.)

Since it slowed down drastically in here - something else I liked about the livestream was Dan shouting out Shitty Watercolour and saying he thought they'd be friends based on the guy's non-youtube-fanart work. I really think it's true. He's an amazing artist and his sense of humor is a lot like Dan's.

His reaction to Dan saying that was also adorable and almost instantaneous, too. Either he watches Dan's livestreams or people started tweeting him about it immediately.

I have so so so much love for Shitty Watercolor and I agree, I think he and Dan are a lot alike in terms of humor. I could absolutely see him watching the show live and freaking out about his mention. He also painted that wtf even is my sexuality watercolor incredibly fast.

I really liked it. His story is very positive and his answers to the questions were well thought out. I couldn't stop thinking though: this video is just made for Phil. I really hope he watches it and it makes him question exactly why he is so secretive about his sexuality and what the benefit of being out could be over remaining closeted. Some quick notes after watching the ls (from the no-lag link - thx to whoever recorded / found that!) Dan's recovery seems to be not going as fast as he would like - you can hear it in his voice - mentioning that he went back to the doc (and got more meds.) IDK the protocols in England, but here in the US you usually take antibiotics for 10 days straight, and finish the prescription even if you start to feel better before they run out. In my case, I wasn't 100% after the 10 days (it took another 2 weeks to finally get rid of the cough and sound better.) The boy needs to chill.

Hair: Somebody in the chat said Dan had a bowl-cut Dan said something about getting it cut short for the Aus tour, hmmmm.... For those who like his hair pushed back, look at the video he played back of him recording the voice track...

IDB shoutout: I didn't think he side-eyed IDB at all, he just said one of his soft "hi"s.

Overall, I thought it was a good show - he really seems to enjoy doing the shows.

Shitty watercolour is so so great, and D&P could definitely learn something from how on the ball he is timing wise. I'd almost wonder whether Hector gets tipped off about things to draw so he has more time, but I guess he's just really quick on the draw?

I miss Undertale! I hope that's the next DAPG, but I'm holding on to my tiny kernel of hope that sometime soon we'll get a console video because the Sideways Bird Poop Through Window Incident happened and they said they were filming on the couch. And yes, I stretched for a long time before I made that reach.
