Guild chat was very good, he sounds like a pretty hardcore player defeating all the raid bosses. I'm so casual I didn't realise something they spoiled till I logged in earlier and saw it in the next bit of the story ingame. Cool that he actually got people together, seems so anti-Dan in person (un-Dan?) Then again he and Phil have done that with us His character is called Gabriel btw, I found it on a guild site a while ago.

He's about as deep in as you can get. 2000+ hours, a server (or world?) first on a raid boss. I love how he's apologetically nerdy about it.
He probably has spend more time in GW 2 than editing his youtube videos

I did that kinda by mistake, meaning just to look him up cos my curiosity got the better of me, not realising it instantly adds anyone you search for as a friend. I panicked and deleted him immediately cos I couldn't remember if it alerts you each time someone adds you, like he's going to recognise my username from anywhere (well, I did used to use it or a character name on tumblr). It felt fricking weird seeing his name there like any regular joe.

So late to the current discussions because I'm addicted to pokemon go! I've been out every night trying to catch them all so have spent this evening catching up.

I love the guild wars video recently posted. I've never played the game and have no clue about how to play it but I would be well interested in watching a video of him playing. I always assume Dan really gets into a game, hence why he's always so good at things he does play that I would find that concentration interesting. I always enjoy watching people who are immersed in something. It's nice to see how passionate he is about it. I hope there is more GW2 chats coming.

It made me laugh how much better the images for the create your own were than the actual book cover. I'm still crying over it, I didn't think anything could be worse than the tabinof one, but it makes tabinof look like a work of art. What were they thinking.

I thought there might be a liveshow tomorrow but now I'm not 100% convinced as I'm pretty sure they'll be leaving for Australia tomorrow or Monday (some of the crew have said they're leaving Monday but who knows if they'll all go together). I hope they put the Pokemon Go video up soon. I really wanna see the next episode of their adventure. Finally caught myself 9 Pikatchu today, no cheats required for my catch

hi! nice to meet you danisnotonphil, i don't think we've ever spoken before. you seem very defensive and angry, so i'm going to choose my words carefully.

I'd love to sit on a flight with my best friend. I hate flying, i have a little fear of it. I'm also Australian so i've taken that 16 hour flight before (last year, in fact), and i can tell you it's not fun.

I will absolutely 'aww' at two people who spend a lot of time working and living together not needing a break to just zone out on the plane, and I don't appreciate you shaming me for it. it's incredibly rude. I didn't mention their relationship status at all, so i'm not really sure why you did. other than it being a focus for you, perhaps?

A plane is a public space. They were on that flight with at least a hundred other people, if not more. The seating configuration is clearly visible from the photo, taken in public, with a stranger, that they are posing for and consented to. They had an opportunity to say 'yeah sure, we'd love to take a photo with you!' and then stand up and take it in the aisle, but they didn't. probably because they don't care who sees where they're sitting on a plane, as it's not a privacy issue to them.

if you have any other concerns i'd love to talk them over with you, but without the attitude this time. thanks for the ribena

I don't think it's worth the stress to get all bent out of shape over this, danisnotonphil. I understand where you're coming from but consider this: it's an airplane. No one is going to be able to come crash in on Dan and Phil and harass them. They're gonna be in the air for 10+ hours. And it's not like they're going to be staying there for any longer than they have to.

If this was a photo outside a hotel, and someone managed to find out where they were staying? I'd agree with you, but tbh, a flight where they're not even accessible to the outside world, AND won't even be staying long term, isn't really worth acting all uppity about.

I completely agree. They are on that plane for 20 hours. It is not like we are sharing their hotel room while they are in it. People can't stalk them on the plane and the people who care have already found them already

Sad that there won't be a LS this week. But I guessed they would be on the way to Australia today or tomorrow anyway.

Thanks merms, (can i call you that?) and dizzy, you guys are the best. I hope Phil doesn't feel too travel sick with the long hour flight. I once took a 13 hour flight and that was a nightmare, especially when I can't get a seat next to my friend. I also hope Dan has recovered from his illness.

you're welcome guys (you can call me anything you like, swofro!). it wasn't hard to find once we realised it wasn't British Airways (they have a similar colour scheme). Cathay was my next thought, and it comes right up in google images.

i'm sad no liveshow too, but Dan's last one had so many #gems i can't really complain. i also hope the steroids are kicking in, not great news that he's still sick whilst starting this leg.

i mainly want to know why they're so damn photogenic, all the time. Phil always looks particularly good. even in candid shots and even after flying for hours (i assume the second shot is at the layover airport). and even when riddled with pneumonia, apparently! some people get all the good parent genes.

I like the shaved sides on Dan. Can't tell from those photos if Phil's had them done too, he does look better with it longer as people were saying before imo. Good that they're on their way, they'll obviously need time to adjust and do tech checks etc.

Do not envy them (or anyone else!) super-long haul flight(s) like that. Furthest I've flown is Tokyo, and I don't think there was any way anyone could have convinced me to get back ON a plane at that point(!) Discounting the appearance of Godzilla...

Sad about the lack of liveshow, I hope they land in time for Phil to actually tell us that it isn't happening tonight, it'd be a shame if some people were left waiting! I do understand them not wanting to tell us when they're flying, though, especially when it's a long haul flight such as this and they're unlikely to be super energized when they get in.

I still love the shaved sides - I guess they(/at least Dan) have gone with them to avoid having to go to a hairdresser during the tour, as that didn't seem to work out perfectly in the US. (psst, just do it yourselves boys - I do, and there are two of you, it'll be even easier! once you have a haircut it's pretty easy to maintain.)
