(although I think we've solved this a few months ago by comparing it to his clearer signature, he really wrote Dan Howell but with an elaborate swirl(?) at the end)
To be honest though. People call you heartless for diverting attention to yourself so your friend could calm down. You 'hacked' Charlieskies with a friend who found his details by accident and caused him to speak to your friend. Then you decided to become his defence squad and got his seal of approval cause Charlie's friend said you and your friend were sweet for making a twitter dedicated to him. Then you decide to talk to a person who used to talk w/ Dan and Phil... Then you realise your friend met a person who is also connected, and find out your friend knew the person because they asked your friend what the hacking thing meant.wolfgutscharlie wrote:But it IS. The "fake hacking Dan" was meant to be serious, it wasn't a joke because I was trying to gain the hate from my friend and put it onto me.
And I'm far from a good place, and looking at all this shit being spewed about me makes me feel 100x worse.

Think about it; nothing actually happend, they were still living together, making videos as usual, they even said themselves everything was fine, except all the phan denial that was happening. And with it they created this whole big mistery that is phan. They do have a history of tricking their viewers and people love mysteries. Dan and Phil love mysteries and ambiguity works for them because now they can get away without making statements that could alienate some viewers. Without it, their entire internet presence would be almost completely without drama ergo boring.
Let's go deeper.. They know exactly what they are doing and it was something they were planning to do on some scale since before they met, and their sudden jump in subscribers just triggered the decision to mix things up more. And we actually have no idea what is happening in their private life; which is that Dan is married to his career and a complete workaholic and Phil has a secret wife and a child on the Isle of Man.
