If there is one word I can use to describe that ls, it is tense. Dan is so tense I just wanna hug him and maybe massage the kinks out of his back and shoulder.

I don't really take elongated/extended/deep notes today because of the weird vibe/atmosphere but here is some highlights of things that caught my attention :

Messing about with poopiepie's twitter. That was really funny; he click follow/unfollow on poopiepie's twitter just to annoy him and then unfollow for real and then poopiepie have a go at him. I wish they will do more collab and spend more time together because I love them both :fond:

Dan (and Phil) don't like to use the word meme but also doesn't want to call the vid "Dan and Phil react to #DAPGO promotional customise cover image" I still think that they are happier that Dapgo acceptance in the phandom are generally positive compared to the shitstorm of Tabinof last year. I remember Phil's tweet a day after the announcement saying something about he appreciates the hype for dapgo from the phandom and I read that tone as fond. I them so much.

The ls really gave a tense atmosphere to me, I still feel weird now. I love the support (kinda) and acknowledgment his peers (John Green, Louise, Poopiepie) are giving him these few days. Was it because of the mattg and onion shit going on, or is it because of the ytred coming out in the uk? Anyway, I hope he will feel better soon.

I will be looking out for his channel today, if it is a trailer, I hope it is a good one. I also take the vibe of tatinof europe as they are still trying but don't hopes up too much because there's a big chance that it won't happen.

Overall, I just wanna hug them and tell them everything is going to be okay and they will have the best time of their life promoting the YTRed and all the fans are going to enjoy the Tatinof vid and docu.

It's a weekly (in one form or another!) show as old as my parents. Good luck pinpointing one particular episode - they do use schools a fair bit, so it's probably a memory of being sat in a church bored out of his skull for a day that he brought up!

I've been thinking about the liveshow a bit more this morning, a few things that stuck out for me:

> Them considering uploading the whole of Undertale in one week - I hope they do this because for a game play they are certainly dragging it out, to the point where I personally have lost interest now. It takes them so long between episodes to upload that I have already forgotten what happened last time. He got asked a couple of times about spooky week and seemed to brush it off a little, I wonder if instead of spooky games they'll just make it Undertale week instead. I hope they don't because spooky weeks is one of the best times to be a fan, it's always pretty good. I'm still hoping for a proper scary style video like Silent Hill last year because that was pretty epic and even made up for the awfulness of Can Your Pet.

Don't mind me, I'm just watching live show late as usual.. Maybe I just don't do emotions right, but I haven't sensed any kind of tense feelings. He mainly sounded bored to me, like he was lacking topics to talk about, this week was apparently all about boring business meetings? Maybe he was a bit under pressure because Louise was watching. Maybe that is just me but they really don't sound very close to me lately, maybe from coworkers perspective, but from friends perspective really not.

I'm of the (seemingly unpopular) opinion that Louise and D+P aren't/were never as close as many people think/would like them to be. I've always had the feeling that they're the type of friends that maybe message each other once in a while and hang out once in a while and get along great when they do but that's it. I mean, maybe at the beginning of the friendship they kept more in contact but yeah. Just my personal opinion

Yeah I'm going to try to rewatch it today as I missed out on the tenseness as well (but I had an awful day yesterday so I wasn't all that tuned in while watching). Nobody mentioned it that I saw, but Luke(isnotsexy) was watching the show too, at least up until Dan started talking about music. The thing with Louise, he said her text said something like 'has your number changed' so I get the impression it's been awhile since they've talked or seen each other (which is understandable considering how busy D&P have been). They're good YT friends but it's not like they hang around on weekends together. [edit: basically what blueapple_x said yeah, they're texting friends]

Is he going to torture us and wait until after 10pm (uk time) like usual, or will it be earlier if it's some kind of actual announcement or something. I'll laugh if it is just a trailer and we're all getting worked up for nothing. For real though I'm kind of nervous. Tour/doc/book, how can they possibly have any kind of other surprise right now?

I still haven't watched Dan's LS, but I have some speculations of what the new vid might be:
1. #spon-related things, or just plain spon (like, this has a 99.9% chance of happening with all the recent events)
2. #phandivorced video (because Dan can't handle the pressure, I guess?)
3. #phanconfirmed video (because Dan feels so pressured under all the Onions, and Onion crossed the line a few days ago, and Phil wants to show him who's boss. Phil might also take this chance to re-brand as he'll shade Onion. HARD. Okay, this is quite an irrational explanation, but a girl can dream, right? RIGHT?)
4. Just a regular video (I heavily doubt it)
5. A #comingout video (but since he doesn't like to be labeled, this is like one of the most impossible ones)
6. Dan telling Onion to shut up, and advises his fans to never get near that douche-bag anymore (a terrible, terrible idea, in my opinion, but it gets the message across)

I don't think this has been posted? Evan sorted some youtubers into HP houses in a QnA (10:57 for Dan and Phil)

I agree with him on both of them! But I found that was funny how he said Dan was 100% a Slytherin so quickly and then replied the same in the comments (Dan you gotta let go off those Gryffindor dreams bro)

I definitely think #1 is the most likely, because Dan said it was a "teaser". But I don't understand your reasoning for #5 not happening. I think it's unlikely too, but not for the reasons you said. Even if Dan doesn't like to be labeled, he can still come out. He can make a video talking about how he likes guys without having to put a label on it. He could even do what Connie(?) did and say "yeah, I'm bi, but I choose not to really label myself" if he wanted to (side note: isn't that what Phil said about himself in 2009?).

I highly doubt anything other than #1 will happen, unless there's a #7 that nobody sees coming

Jumping back in with the world's most random (& creepy) post. The back of Dan's head is a straight up... uhhh... fascination for me. From the liveshow I got the impression that this video coming today must be either documentary teaser (which would be a bit weird, as this isnt exactly be a surprise to anybody) or a new project that is youtube related. I think I remember him saying something like "a thing coming to our youtube channels". Maybe they planned a new format or so, which might explain the "working on it for months".

I can never imagine either of them making a coming out video on their channel, they are way to private with things like that. When have we ever seen them talk about something truely emotional or personal in their videos? We do know their little quirks and character traits and superficial stuff that's happening in their life but apart from that?
I still think it's a funny mind exercise to imagine a DINOF coming out video.. Reasons why Dan's a fail style? or a storytime video? That time I met this guy and realized I was bisexual and it lead to a horrible chain of events?
Anyway it's just impossible to imagine to me and therefore I will just go ahead and say this will never happen

Yeah I was thinking about this. Louise text him 'Is this still your number?'. Implying they haven't spoken/text in a long while. Yet Dan's response was something along the lines of, 'Of course it's still my number, she'd be one of the first people I let know' (paraphrasing). So it seems like he still considers her one of his close friends, even though in reality they may not speak or hang out that much.

I think the teaser video might be a total surprise to us all, or maybe something we've heard of eg Stand Up To Cancer, but there's no way they'll be doing a 360 from their usual quite-private-actually into something so personal. Maybe something will change sometime and they'll decide they want to for some reason, if there even is anything to tell, I just hope nothing forces them to.
