It's my favourite horror game of all time because it's pure psychological horror and it deals with extremely complex and mature things like torture, suicide, extreme depression and terminal deseases. The thing is that it deals with all that in a deep and realistic way, it doesn't use it just as shock value. Moreover, the protagonist, Susan (fitting haha), is super likeable, relatable and the player builds a really strong bond with her, because of how damn "real" she feels. Sorry for that OT rant, but since we are talking about spooky week I really wanted to voice my oppinion about that hidden gem of a game. I know they'll never play it in the gaming channel because of its really mature themes, but if for some reason they are lurking here I hope they play it on their own because of how damn well done it is. The youtuber Cryaotic made a really good let's play of it, and pewdiepie started playing it but it was "too deep" for his channel and audience.

[offtopic]Off topic probably from the current convo, I just wanted to quote and reply now before I forget, but as a person who loves, like seriously LOVES The Cat Lady/Downfall, as much as I would love them to play it, they never would.

They are very serious and heavy games and while they'd enjoy it in their own private time, for a comedy gaming channel they'd probably say it's too mature for a lot of their fans anyway. It's definitely 18+ and they would have to turn each episode into a "remember kids it gets better!" so they don't feel bad that their audience takes up after Susan.[/offtopic]

Hey guys, I was told Dan knocked someone up in high school, trust me, his high school phys ed teacher told me. No, I can't give you his name, but he's a respectable person, so it's legit. Am I lying? Hold your breath and wait for me to line up my source better. Can't discount anything I say because ~who knows~, I have connections. Because I said I do.

And an actual updatedphan mod on the previous page said none of them are friends with the people on that blog. Were they lying? Why is the troll blog deserving more benefit of the doubt than people with a fairly good track record when it comes to D&P?

Honestly, is critical thinking not part of education anymore? Do people not understand that People Lie On The Internet for attention and meaningless internet points? I despair for humanity.

I know from lurking that they got a lot of asks saying things like "why can't you tell us" or "what do you mean ... isn't ...?" or anything that links to the information they supposedly 'leaked'.

Perhaps we should see how it plays out/if they can collect any information/evidence to prove their very, VERY, bold statements.

It seems they've been editing the post recently too and adding links to screenshots, which is a lot better than the original post which could literally be a fanfiction if you took away the dates (then again, isn't Dan and Phil's life sort of like an anime? I mean, a fan ends up living with his idol..).

No hate (I promise) I just think that people are disregarding what they are saying due to a certain *cough* CHARLIE *cough* co-owner having an extremely unreliable and hateful reputation.

And ruining/naming some of their sources seems like quite a d*ck move in all honesty, however it makes you think, why would they do that to their sources? Especially after keeping these supposed leaks a secret/always talking about their sources, why leak everything/backstab people now?

And why on earth did they leak it a week before they said they were going to?

This may be reaching a bit far but they could have told the wrong people the 'leaked' information and were under risk of it getting out? Again, it's a reach however there was this account that Charlie knew from their school (seen in other tweets) that was spreading Dan and Phil info on twitter (like addresses), it got taken down though.

(I don't stan/stalk Charlie may I add, however I am always up for a bit of sh*tstorming)

Also to that person saying Charlie wasn't friends with the person from updatedphan, I'm pretty sure (they deleted all of their tweets a month or so ago I'm not sure exactly when) that I saw some tweets like "just had a 4 hour skype call with ..." in which the person from updatedphan liked it and replied to it (can't remember what they said though).

I used to follow them and they'd also tag the person in tweets and stuff... maybe the person is trying to cover up that they were friends with Charlie? They also very recently posted links to screenshots with the said person on the TMI post.
Perhaps they had a fallout or something? I certainly wouldn't spread around that I was getting inside information from a person from updatedphan, maybe that's just me but I'd keep that to myself...

If you're reading this postulatedphan, I'm a fan of your blog however you need to add more proof and to try and tone down the hate/negativity that is radiating (and I MEAN radiating) from your accounts...that is all.

I can't believe after months of lurking that your post pushed me to make an account. But I can see your points. I used to follow both Wolfgutscharlie and Rin and it seems they blocked me. I don't know why.

But what you are saying does make a lot of sense! I say we wait it off.

Agreed for the most part, but yes the person from updatedphan did lie about this. One of the mods has talked to one of the people who runs that blog.

My last thought about the post, under a spoiler to keep things neat

Most of the points in the post can never be proven. Unless they find this kid whose head was flushed and find database of his school, the kid's ID and picture to cross-examine with the school's information to ensure that Dan was indeed at this school the same year as this kid, to get a picture with his username to have 100% proof it's him writing the answer and not someone else and have him claim with all the evidence backed up that Dan indeed was part of a flushing incident, then... nothing?

Unless we find an actual video recording of the youtubers or people in question to have absolute proof that they are physically present and consenting to sharing this story, who state who they are and why they are making this video, and show you on their phone (a recording of them showing the phone) and show you old conversations from the events back then, that can obviously not be edited on a computer, then... nothing?

Nobody would risk doing that if it were true. Nobody, not even the Emma Quackery group or Charlie's group or anyone. Even if they HAD the proof, they sure as hell aren't going forward with it because hey if you were 100% in the right and Dan was a dick to you then that's only a benefit to yourself to show, right? I mean sure the crazy phangirls would be there anyway but would it be really worth it? What would you gain?

So as far as I'm concerned: If it's true, nobody has solid enough proof to give me any hot tea. And if they do have proof then they are just cowards so it doesn't have much merit anyway because if they felt their own peace of mind and rep was more important than Dan's they'd not be sly about it and just be outright and honest.

If it's false then they are just trying to stir up drama but thankfully on this forum at least a lot of us have either been through the rumour mill before (it's certainly not my first time hearing all these and I was in the fandom between 2012-2013 when the tsunami of screenshots and digging up of the past was happening and I witnessed it all, on the other place), or they are so conflicting with their stories and who said what that their own statement is crumbling before them and they'll just fade away into obscurity again.

Their video of slitherio is actually making me wanna play it.

I played agario before but slitherio looks faster and more fun with the snake worm thingies.

I love watching people play PT (yeah I'm sadistic like that lol), and Until Dawn, and Life is Strange, like those are classic "watch every youtuber play" material. Most times I'm disappointed with their reactions of Life is Strange until it gets to the second episode onwards because people are Snooty mcSnoots and think it's a fluffy slice of life game with faux quirky characters like no son you have no idea what you're up against.

I'd like to watch them play Assassin's Creed multiplayer. That would be fun, seeing them both trying to be competent sneaky people or templars.

Look I know that, but talking to somebody with the hope of being nice and extending an olive branch to somebody having issues isn't enough to say 'they spilled a bunch of private information they may or may not even have'. I'll just remind everybody that updatedphan has a disclaimer right in their bio saying they have no affiliation with actual D&P. So who even cares if they did or did not say anything. They're not a legitimate source of personal info on D&P.

And anyway just look at what that blog has done with info we all have, they twist it into imagined bullshit. They could be told 'Phil dyes his hair' and ReVeAL that Dan forces Phil to dye his hair because Dan is mean and abusive and wants to change Phil to better suit his own selfish needs. Like?? Bleh. The trolls use people and manipulate facts to make others look bad and elevate themselves. Like they're doing with Dan. Just don't take anything they say at face value, please. The amount of people buying into even the tiniest fraction of what they're selling makes me sad.

But more importantly, the video's up! Gotta blast.

God that was sooooo much better than the first Slither.io vid!! I loved it - full of bants and the gameplay was pretty good tbf, I actually felt quite tense watching it!

lmao, you're definitely not wrong when it comes to life is strange. so many people are really judge-y and assume it's just a bit of teen angst and school drama, not that that's a bad thing, and then shit starts happening. like just wait until you get to episode four and five.
i need to find more people on youtube who has played it. and god i need to replay it.

okay, to bring it back to d&p, would love to see them play it but the length + a lot of the topics make it very unlikely.

and i loved the new slither.io video. it was better than the first one and idk i just really enjoyed them in this one.
those games look kind of fun but they look like they would just give me like anxiety so i watch other people play it instead. i could probably see myself rewatching this one in future.

i do wish they would mix it up a bit with dan vs phil though, the last few have been slither.io, agar.io, dragon spon and festive flash. i don't mind them that much, just hope they mix it more with some other games.

edit: also no dan, why would you remind me that vore is a thing

Wow, the DvP was way more entertaining than I expected it to be! But Philly didn't win I wasn't expecting him to win, but it would have been such a nice surprise since Dan was so confident he would win. I wanted him to be angry and shocked because Phil won and I wanted to see Phil's cute happy face

Next DvP has to be a win for him! At least it was really cute and entertaining and Phil's confusion between pantheon and colosseum was too adorable Also the Buffy the Vampire Slayer inspired eyemask
