On the topic of the mysterious wrapper, just looked to my right and saw its almost exact match beside my pop can. Right down to the shape, size, magenta outside, light blue center, and the picture in the middle.

Fairly sure it's the paper wrapper that comes on top of Pomegranate Pelligrinos! I'm putting the pic behind a spoiler bc I've never linked a pic before and the preview makes it seem absolutely massive and I'm not quite sure how to fix that.

I think you could be right! It makes sense as fizzy drinks can help if your stomach feels bad.

Also hi - add me to the pissy party regarding no liveshow. This has done nothing to help my current feelings towards them. I was hoping for a joint liveshow which would convince me once again that they're together and are in fact not morally bankrupt dickheads. Le sigh.

Many long term gay couples still regularly use condoms for extra lubrication and less mess. This feels like Lube Gate all over again tbh

Off-topic but I've just noticed Phil has almost as many twitter followers as he does YT subscribers which isn't really significant to anything but does strike me as being rather unusual. I can't think of another youtuber who has the same size following on twitter as they do on YT there is usually always a significant drop there. I don't know why this interests me but it does lol.

Also it sucks that we are not getting a joint liveshow, I'm not remotely excited for them live tweeting TATINOF.
Although I do wonder if they are doing commentary style tweets and not just replying to things fans have said if they've already planned out their tweets and will just be copy and pasting their "live" reactions onto twitter. We know they like to give thought to their tweets.

i'm saying that it's ok to have headcanons and i everyone is welcome to discuss it with fellow friends and shippers, but i think it's uncomfortable when fans go out of their way to make sure deppy see comments about their presumed sexual life. if dan is lurking here it's his own fault though , same if he searches his name on ao3 and expects to see anything but hat fic or whatever

re: the billboards, I know the other one that had been posted by the girl with the selfie on twitter is in Westwood and that's had YTers on there before. I wonder if they've got some kind of exclusive deal on the boards. I don't see it enough to know if it always has YT posts on it, but I've seen several of their ads on there in the past.

I'm bummed about the lack of live show too. Maybe if they didn't want to sit there for almost 3 hours on stream, then broadcast just the doc and live tweet the show? Vice versa? Or do a pre-liveshow and sign off to live tweet as we all watch together? I would've liked a little something of them with us, even just an introduction and then switch to twitter.

I'm sure a lot of the tweets will be canned but I'm really hoping for some teaspoons of true personality to shine through. Little moments like in the show and the doc themselves that we can take away and feel like it's really them that we're seeing even if just for a minute.

But yeah, we have no actual idea if they even do anal, or how often, or who tops when they do. I'm not a gay male but yeah, I agree with you, in the real world people switch around.

I've seen a few arguments over who tops, and usually the reasoning is "Phil is older and more masculine, he tops!" or "Dan is taller, he tops!" pretty stereotypical stuff, really. I tend to lean toward Phil topping when I write fics, but reality wise I don't think there's really an argument to be had, there's no way to tell.

More recently, it started from VirginAmerica tweeting out something along the lines of "retweet if you're a top, favorite if you're a bottom", and Dan liked it. Before that, your guess is as good as mine.

Seeing how he can barely fit, I just. If Phil genuinely took the bedroom and left Dan in that bunk to bugger up his back for months then it would actually genuinely piss me off. Because that's pretty nasty. In that situation, I would have said straight up "ok, tallest person gets the bed then" because that does not look comfortable for Dan at all. It's borderline stupid to make him sleep like that.

So I really hope they're joking and either took turns or shared the bed as platonic bros because Phil? I think that would change my opinion of you a bit if you were that heartless and mean. Bit selfish there, mate.

I can't imagine the tour manager letting dan sleep in a bunk he doesn't fit in. It's really not the best of ideas to have half of the talent potentially destroying their back overnight as it could affect his ability to perform. There is no way Dan actually slept in that bunk for the majority of two months (where he did sleep though I have no opinion )

one guard is in love with the other and he declares his love for him in a rather sappy way. Then they go and eat ice cream together. It's very cute. (And as the phan trashcan that I am I cannot help but look forward to them voicing that part haha)

because it's Sunday afternoon and i'm feeling like relaxing and watching their old gaming stuff. remembered how much i loved it. something about them on the sofa, playing an older? game, just really relaxed with nothing forced. don't get me wrong i still like their stuff now, i really wish they would do this again. these old videos are so heartwarming and nice to watch

I think Phil has the sort of personality that grows on you, and if you're subscribed, you're in it for the long haul (that means a twitter follow as well). Many other youtubers have way more casual viewers but I think it's hard to be a casual viewer of Phil because he's quite quirky and he doesn't make very relatable videos. On the other hand, Dan's whole branding is #relateable and so he must have a lot of subscribers who think he's alright and his content is easy to watch/relate to.

That's just my opinion, there might be absolutely nothing to it.

i love their old gaming videos, they were the reason i started watching them at all lol i was looking for non-solo gamers and i liked their quirky friendship dynamics and also how sucky they were at some games LOL (like minecraft...). my dark deep secret: i wish they switched their career to gaming videos only

I think the same! Phil's videos are a bit harder to get into (at least it was like that for me) but when you got the overall concept of it and really start to care about this nice and quirky person, you want to see all of his content. Like you said, Dan is #relateable and his videos are sketchy and not that specific. It's just that Phil's channel is about his videos as a whole while Dan's videos are more about his videos individually.
