Well I found a gif but I can't remember what it's from!
Although Googling "dan howell drunk vlog" led me to this gem I am having too much fun

On the topic of drunk D&P, I can't help but think of this and just

A little off topic - do you think dan and phil read GG/IDB on a regular basis? Naively I always assumed they a) wouldn't know/care or b) actively tried to ignore all forms of gossip and discussion... but I've been thinking about it, and being self proclaimed internet homos, surely they would have come across GG at some point. I read parts 1-10 of the D&P thread on GG and I was really affronted at how brutal, and dare i say rude some people were. There is a line between constructive criticism/sharing your honest opinion on their content, and downright nasty and invasive behaviour. Thankfully the nature of the discussion has mostly changed since then (for the better )...
but the question is, if they have seen the bants on GG/IDB (which they most likely have), do you think this sort of discussion affects them in any way? Especially if Dan is as self critical as he seems to be, do you think it hinders their creative output/makes them reconsider their content? I know it may seem a little ridiculous to assume that a little gossip website could have any such impact, but these forums remain to be the only genuinely honest and reasonably intelligent discussions on D&P that i've found on the net. I think it's fair to say that 99% of us have good intentions and only want the best for them, but do you think we have an obligation to be completely 100% unfiltered and brutally honest, or is there some sort of line that we all should draw when it comes to criticism (good or bad)?

also omg i remember this liveshow but now hearing people theorizing that he may possible be drunk puts it in a whole other (amusing) perspective Does anyone know what past threads people talked about this in? Or give me a rundown on what exactly made people think that he was drunk (unless it's just that he was being extra silly then w/e)

(that whole thread, all 39 pages, is amazing from start to finish, to be honest. And ayane you are incredible )

it's from this video around 5:16
thanksssss
i love that clip so much, drunk people are usually funny to watch but idk why i find drunk!phan even more hilarious, maybe it's because they normally act so self conscious and uncomfortable while socializing/being vlogged and this is such a contrast
anyone with me or am i weird
kinda want to start a drunk phan compilation but i'm so lazy

i am sure they are aware GG exists, as for idb idk, probably not yet? although someone asked where we went a few days ago on phantaray and i'm sure they know about that blog so maybe they saw that if they lurk there?
i don't think they check it, at least not regularly, especially considering how fast the threads go, although it wouldn't surprise me if they did check it at least once out of curiosity
after all emma blackery confirmed that 'every youtuber' checks their gg thread when she posted there (or did i made up that part of her post idk too lazy to check), obviously she doesn't know shit about d&p but it still confirms that it is a possibility; and it's understandable when you normally only get praise for everything you do to want to see some criticism from time to time
and we did have some weird coincidences on gg that suggested that maybe they were reading us but i think they were just that, coincidences, the one that did scare me a little bit was when someone posted an old problematic dan tweet, asked people specifically not to fave/rt it so dan wouldn't get the notif and delete it, and it still got deleted in less than ten minutes
if the coincidences suddenly stop now that we moved forums i might reconsider if the old ones were in fact coincidences or not

Brendon Urie from P!ATD...
(sorry this is mostly off topic)
woooow, where/when's that interview from? didn't know brendon said that, he has been slowly, very slowly, opening up more about his sexuality, he used to downright deny being anything but straight if my memory serves me well, soz i left the patd fandom a few years ago maybe that's not true but i could swear he even said he was straight in 2014 when girls/girls/boys came out and he did an interview about it and said something stupid about girls being 'more bisexual' than dudes (he did admit he had 'experimented' in the past tho), good for him for coming to terms with that
i actually think dan would be more likely to use a label, he's more of a ~socially aware~ 'tumblr person' than brendon, and it was tumblr that taught me (and many other people i think) that labels weren't mandatory but also weren't restrictive if you wanted to use them, they are just words to identify yourself and that help you find others that go through similar experiences, and dan overthinks and is very self aware, labels are very useful when you're like that
also he did say he was bi in the past, while phil said he didn't like labels, phil strikes me more as someone who would answer like brendon because he honestly doesn't care (which is also completely fine obvs)

We've established that Dan and Phil are actually danphil333 and jaej. I'm kidding. Not.
I think they know everything going on in phandom, both in tumblr phandom or gg/idb phandom, I don't think they literally read everything, but I do believe they at least checking out/lurking here and their tumblr tag once a week or so.
I think being in the public eye for so long, they've must learned how to ignore meaningless hateful comments and real constructive criticism from their fans.
But to me honest I hope they stop do it, don't lurk here. One of the main reason that I never use tumblr or comment on twitter/youtube is that I think they might seen it, and I don't want them to, I have the right to freedom of speech but I don't want to do it while hurting other people's feelings. Plus in this phandom the one thing we need the most is boundary.
BTW remember that one time we tried to psychoanalyze Phil and the next day in Phil's live show he said "psychoanalyze that if you like". I almost peed myself.

Catless version for Catrific intolerant IDBers
Many thanks, spider. You kind consideration of my 'condition' (which ISN'T jealously ) is much appreciated.
IMHO I doubt they read here but even if they do, there's much love and zero hate. At the end of the day, they probably know it's just us talking shit. Most celebrities, cult leaders or mad dictators would kill for a devoted fandom of six million people with barely any haters.
Peasant Blackery would 100% read here. So would Louise.
These are the cutest things You've made the best emojis!

Many celebrities and youtubers have admitted to stalking their fans slightly, and many youtubers were aware of GG, so I don't think it's a stretch to say they have at least read some of it. Though I do think most of the coincidences are probably just coincidences unless they really do like to troll and have seen you guys freak out over coincidental things.
At this point I'm not sure I'd care if they read this board, even though I would most other times. This board doesn't really ever say anything truly mean or hateful, and I just like discussing and hearing all the creative analysis here that is mostly based on assumptions and personas we've given two semi-public figures. And if there's any sort of msyetry, I'm hooked, regardless of whether I believe it or not.
Sidenote: GG confused me a bit at first because I'd always gotten the sense that trash communities were usually full of fans that just liked to troll and make fun of the things they liked, whereas GG seemed genuinely hateful towards some of the youtubers. I remember being apart of FBR_trash and most people being completely shocked that I was only a casual fan of like two FBR bands, so maybe that set the tone for my expectations of future trash threads.
This officially states that the internet takeover is no more. I am glad though, that the whole program is cancelled and not that other youtubers are taking it over. It also states that Dan and Phil will continue being part of the radio one family. Hopefully this means that they will do something else on radio one. Still would have been nice if Dan and Phil had actually told us this.
I do wonder how this affects other youtubers who had regular slots with the Internet Takeover.
I agree with y'all. I don't know if i'd ever get over a bunch of strangers speculating over my every mood... it seems so creepy.. but I guess it's something that comes with the territory of the internet, they have every right to opt out if they're not comfortable with it.
Question: What are some good/funny/interesting 'phan' accounts to follow? Mainly for youtube and twitter, as well as tumblr (but don't use it as frequently).
The only good ones that come to mind are vyou1 and felucca (ily )... and I only follow a bunch of randoms on twitter that are constantly posting about their feelings... i don't want to see that ... do you guys have any favourites?
