What is actually wrong with her? Publicly whining about a CANCER CHARITY not wanting to work with her annoying entitled ass is some next level shit:

She makes herself out to be a victim in every possible situation. "It makes me really sad", well cancer makes a lot of other people sad, how about keeping the focus on that instead. Maybe they just know her audience overlaps with everybody they have involved anyway, who cares. Don't complain about it while pretending you're trying to not make it about you.

Why not just tweet out the hashtag and be supportive of the cause whether they've asked you to or not and maybe don't ACTUALLY make it all about you you whiny windbag omg.

Just do your own one and donate the money. I'm sure nobody is gonna turn you down for it.

My God she is the human personification of stubbing your toe. It's painful af when it happens, you can't understand how it happened and you swear it won't happen again, yet too frequently you kneel over in agony because the furniture clearly moved 2 inches closer to your foot.

Emma, here's a (pro)tip: The way to avoid making something all about you is to NOT MENTION YOURSELF. It's not that hard. There's no need to get bitter on Twitter. If you do care about beating cancer and not about your own ego, then the way to show that is by supporting SU2C, publicly or not. Whether you meant it or not, this detraction is just distraction from the real issue.

... yeah, I'm not in the habit of hating people, but Emma's antics annoy me.

I understand why she is upset that they don't want her, but as you guys said, she could have raised money herself instead. If SUT2 was that rude to her, she could have donated it to another cancer charity. I'm pretty sure there's more than one in the UK. If she would have done that at another time of the year and organised it all by herself, that would have shown how much she really cares. And maybe they'd ask her to join the next year because of her dedication. I'm pretty sure doing something yourself will make that more likely than whining about it while they are trying to raise money. At least one of her fans probably didn't donate because they were angry that SU2C didn't take her in.

I have yet to come across a charity that would knowingly ignore someone willing to volunteer. Personally I think most of the youtubers present for the livestream and other events were arranged for through their management, the charity gets views, recognition, donations etc, and for the participating ytubers, great pr and most probably wanted to be involved anyway. (Google also gets a great positive boost.)
So I doubt that for 3 years running, Emma would be overlooked. You'd have to do more than swear to be persona non grata at a charity event. It's this reaction, as well as her interactions when she wants a collab (fine bros, for example), she manipulates her audience into badgering someone for her to give her something she wants.
Emma either needs to get new management or communicate better with the one she has. Buy a sutc t-shirt and do a livestream, take a pic and post it, even without the fundraising element you can raise awareness.

I'm pretty disgusted about her attitude with the SU2C livestream. Shocked, really. There were plenty of YouTubers who weren't involved and we have no idea why, of course. But YouTube literally couldn't fit everyone inside that room; I was there and saw how small and cramped it was, and they didn't even feature half of them on camera as it was.

Pretty poor taste, Emma.

Like I get that people out there really do call people doing ads sellouts and whatever, and even Dan can get a little apologetic seeming about spon content, but at least he saves that for liveshows. Like it's just hilarious at this point. OK Emma you're better than everyone, is that what you want? I'm sure the countless people itching to throw $15 your way for your brilliant content are grateful you're so giving and selfless that they can just watch for free. Like the majority of content put up on YT. Let's all bow down to this charitable human being and the gifts she bestows upon the world (when she's allowed to, when cancer charities aren't snubbing her and her giving spirit).

Idk in this case I'm going to give her the benefit of doubt: come on she would be to be deluded to think to be able to win, the other contestant were bigger names with a huge following, so to be salty now seems really stupid. Hey, I'm the first to think badly of her and to be quite frank I tend to ignore her existence, no use giving her the attention she clearly craves.
Seems her usual way of behaving, let's all think she is great and fantastic, mixed with a way of promoting her music, because let's all remember she wants to be taken as a "professional" musician.

I used to love Emma but lately not so much. What really bothers me about her is how she seems to change her style and image every other week. This has been mentioned before but it's just so cringey how she keeps changing her hair and what she wears and then makes fun of what she liked before like three seconds later. I feel like she is super insecure about herself or how people see her so she keeps changing it up trying to find a style that people will love instead of just being herself. Might not be true, it's just how she comes across in my opinion. I do still think she's actually a nice girl and I did believe her when she said she regretted the way she'd acted towards Dan and Phil, it seemed sincere. But lately she's just all over the place.

I felt like she was really going somewhere a few months ago when she announced her new music, uploaded good content regularly and just seemed a lot nicer and less extra than before. But when the music actually came out it was like being smacked over the head somehow. With all the praising and advertising she had done I'd really thought she'd put out some thoughtful, well done music. And what did we get? Cringey pop punk aimed at kids that sounds like it could have been popular ten years ago. That's when I started to lose interest in her. She's obviously not as good a musician as she thinks she is or she dumbs her music down on purpose for the sales and both of these options just irk me, the latter more than the first one. I was actually interested in her as a musician (and her cover of "You Ain't Woman Enough" is really cool, she can actually sing) but I feel like she sells herself short.

And here's a screenshot, since the title says "temp" i can only imagine that means she's deleting it soon.

She opens the video by talking about super duper hurtful comments, and quotes one as "what a shame, i liked this channel" or something. Like, something that wasn't even really that mean. And she's whining and bitching and making loads of excuses as to why she hasn't uploaded much on her vlog channel, Vloggery (in case you lost track of all her channels. i don't blame you.) She says "it's hard enough to maintain one channel, never mind three." I wonder who's idea it was to have three channels??? Also, I thought we were at at least 4 by now? Excuses for absence include: focusing on main channel and finally enjoying herself on it "for a change," being on tour, moving house in august, constantly traveling to London for "meetings," traveling to LA in a few weeks bc her "life doesn't stop" and she made sure to specify that it's for work, even tho earlier in the video she said that she wishes her job could just be youtube? then later explains that all her "secret external projects" are stressing her out...I'm led to believe these projects have something to do with youtube or were made accessible to her because of her youtube popularity...soooo.....

It's hard to feel bad for her when there are other youtubers who do stuff like books and tours and events and don't seem to complain at all.......

also I spent the whole video thinking her shirt said "gayffindor"

In other less drama-y news:

No idea what this ad campaign is? I'm confused as to whether it's actually backed by Youtube/Google. At first I thought it for sure wasn't because I didn't see a youtube logo in the pictures of the actual running ads she showed but apparently I'm completely blind because the one above has the logo in it, lol. Does anyone here know anything about what this even is? Simply an ad for her channel? They're actually in the real world, some pics under the spoiler as this post is already quite long:

To be honest, I think she looks good in the finished ad. Props to her makeup person.
