I'm not sure if Phil would even take Dan to an official high school reunion because of how coupley it would look and because they'd be surrounded by people they don't know or trust so couldn't control the situation so personally I do believe it was just a friend group meet-up.

Organised reunions aren't really a "thing" in the UK. I've no doubt it was just a friend-group catch up. I remember there being an "old girls' day" at my high school for the centenary whilst I was there, but that's about it. Maybe I just went to the wrong schools...

On the other hand, it would have been ten years since Phil had left the school, so if there was an organised reunion at any point, that would seem the right time. My school didn't go in for it either, but I always got the impression some did.

honestly, it makes sense with small-ish youtubers to try to get views from the phandom with like, thumbnails and clickbaity video titles, but this isn't really that, is it? plus, you can say a lot about felix, but i don't think he's struggling for views
i do honestly believe that he likes interacting with us though. like we're fun when we're not being creepy and stalkery! like it or not, not many fandoms have the power to ruin YT comments quite like we do, and that's not about numbers/views 100k people are behind that and that's not a huge number to someone like felix. and i do also think he just likes *them* in like a really simple, human way

Pewds has been having quite a lot of deppy bits in his videos lately, some of them have been a bit out of place, I gotta admit. With his personality I think he just likes to fuck with the phandom, there's no real use for him to use them as a bait to get views.

Not really that sad about the radio show, I think it's seen it's best days and they've given the impression that it's started to become a drag for D&P. I do hope they continue doing things for BBC, we've gotten quite a lot of fanservice-y deppy moments from them.

Also from the UK and my school did have a reunion (which I couldn't go to because I was out of the country/didn't really want to go to and conveniently had a great excuse) and from what I gathered a group of people I'd went to school with organised it themselves. So I think in the UK it just depends if anyone in your school year cares enough put the effort into organising one.

(the whole "bro culture" thing was such a huge part of why i used to not like him much, i'm glad he seems to be letting go of it somewhat, though he still says cringe uninformed things occasionally) -- but yeah, his comments used to be a lot of toxicity and/or spam. He even turned them off at one point, didn't he? You can still find both in there, but not nearly as much. But lately, at least under the D+P ones, I've mostly seen the phandom talking about him being "one of us" and well - a lot of PROTIP now, but that's a convo in itself.

Yeah, you can still see the videos where the comments section were turned off. I remember it being a big deal, because he was like the most subscribed youtuber. And there's even a react video of youtubers reacting to felix's explanation of why he turned it off.

I definitely don't think he wants to f*ck/troll with the phandom. He seems to genuinely like dnp, and majority of the phandom that i saw really likes him as well. Especially since a lot of people who like phan really like melix (marzia and felix) as well. And DnP speak highly of him and marzia. Pewds probably knew it and wants to return the favor?
