Dan & Phil part 32...and what a thicc thread it was

I hardly remember what tatinof live was like since I was pretty confused (i had only watched a few of their videos at the time) but I think it was the only time in my life that I was in a place with that much tangible energy and excitement.

Does anyone actually know when this undertale was filmed, or when they filmed all of these videos? I think I remember in one of Dan's liveshows several weeks ago, he was talking about how he and Phil were not sure if they wanted to upload all the Undertales at once or do an Undertale week, I thought that he had implied that they already had filmed them. or at least started filming them? If this is the case then they probably filmed all these gaymas videos before Phil went to Florida.

Undertale: I liked it, but wasn't my fave. I really do like the series, and since I am not a gammer I enjoy watching them play it because they really explore the game. This time though it felt rushed or something? I'm not sure but it felt like there was less (mindless) exploration of the game then in previous eps. Also are my on too tight or is 35:08 an example of love eyes lester? I mean he is looking into the monitor they see themselves in but I can't imagine he is making that face at himself.

Best thing about tatinof: The whole show. Every bit of it has brought me happiness. m&g photos, #busgate (i love the sherlocks on here doing their thing) , seeing irl (beautiful), being able to share that experience with an old friend, and seeing her enjoy these two even though she isn't a fan, seeing deppy grow more and more comfortable with themselves and each other, reading the reviews of all the shows from people on here....the list goes on and on. basically I love deppy, love you guys, and I am a big ball of mush at the bottom of the bin because of it.

-The opportunity to go outside. This seems silly, but I generally do not justify spending money on events, so I stay home. But the fact that they were coming all the way from London, and the fact that it was about half the price of going to see a fancy theater show pushed me over the edge. It was really fun to head into hollywood again, my old highschool stomping grounds and relive those days.
-Just being in a theater again. I dont go often enough, and theaters are holy sites to me.
-familiarity with modernish music/websites - I was nervous about not fitting in with the youth, so I scoured the internet to find out what the songs were in the preshow bit. I joined tumblr, spotify, and this website all in one week!

-Letting loose and being happy again. I didn't feel judged as I sang along with the preshow, or screamed when prompted during the show. It was fun because I was always a respectful theater member, and never went to concerts, so it was an experience I had missed in my teens, and might not have gotten otherwise.

By contrast, can we talk about Dan=Metaton, and then Phil immediately saying that he would go to prom with, and slow-dance with, Metaton? And then he looks over at Dan at 31:42?

Dan's actually the one who mentions prom and then Phil mentions slow-dancing. But what I noticed was that a few seconds before that, Phil said "I think Mettaton looks beautiful, and I would... want to watch this show". To me, it sounded like he was going to say "and I would want to date him" but changed his mind at the last minute, and then when Dan mentioned prom he felt a bit more at ease so he talked about slow-dancing (following Dan's "prom" idea). I might be reading too much into that but I got those vibes while watching the video for the very first time, and I don't pick up on that sort of stuff very often.

About Tatinof I remember the first show it was the same day as the book went out and the making of the book, and I was trying to avoid tabinof spoilers while trying to find tatinof spoilers (cause I couldn't see it live so what is the point) and I was so happy watching my twitter full of picture of the meet and greets, and then someone said they throw her a rat and me being like wtf is happening, trying to put every spoiler together, waiting for the peeps that went there to share their review on gg. Learning there was a dance and some time later hearing all the audio of the show with my eyes closed while lying on my bed feeling emotional.

undertale: i really enjoyed it bc i just like seeing them film long videos, the anticipation and second hand cringing kinda ruined the guards moment for me (totally my fault, idk why it made me so nervous) but imo they handled it well. i'm conflicted because i want it to be over because i never liked the game in the first place and i lost the little interest i had bc of how long its taking them but at the same time it's probably the first and last time we're gonna see them do a long play through with hour long videos and i don't want that to end (pls start another and this time pick a game i like pls im begging u)

i'm late for commenting on the sims but i also liked that, even though i hate babies and their sims series, the redecorating saved it for me, and i hope the complete chaos of them having to handle multiple sim babies is gonna save the next few episodes or i'm gonna be very bored

I am still sad we never got to go tatinof, had I known they was planning a tour I would not of booked a 3 week holiday to Tokyo and a 1 week holiday to Paris in the month of October. All the dates I wanted to do were when we was away. I really hope they do something like this again in the future mostly so my Daughter can get to go.

I did enjoy Undertale, but have to agree with everyone else that I didn't enjoy it as much as normal. I'm still miraculously unspoiled, so them knowing and freely acknowledging everything that was going to happen didn't quite work for me. It's a shame they were so spoiled, too :/ That said I did appreciate the little domestic tangents, and Phil continuing - from YOI - to show us that he does get invested in relationships in games/TV shows etc, beyond the rest of the storyline significance, which idk if he's not discussed before or I just haven't paid enough attention too. On that note, continuing to adore Phil so so much recently.

Once again I am in awe of handwriting decoding skills! My only contribution is that next to 'journey' it maybe looks like it says 'bubbles? on/a plane'? But the more I look at it the less it looks like that... Also loving our decorations, thank you to whoever drew that!

Sharing TATINOF memories is a great idea! Mine are going under a cut b/c I may have got a little cheesy/overly wordy.

I'll never forget the excitement of my first show in Birmingham, that's still the loudest crowd I've been in for the sing along at the beginning and it was just such a great atmosphere. Dan doing my 7SC at my first show was also something I'll never forget, and seeing Martyn and Cornelia on the tube after the last London show - I still swear they'd got D&P's afterparty shirts from the drycleaners for them!

Online #busgate was fun and so impressive, and it was always great to see how much people enjoyed their shows, and what aspects they particularly enjoyed, and hearing about what changed. Release day and the TATINOF twitter party were both such fun experiences, too.

Meeting D&P friends in London and IDB friends in Berlin has to be a massive highlight, the community of fandom is and will always remain my favourite part, and this community has such lovely people I'm so glad to have met. Trying to get people to do cake at Berlin was fun too, even if we did fail - we got so close! From the show itself TIIH has to be the highlight, realising they were really going to do this the first time around and then everyone singing along at the Berlin show.

Finally: actually finding the courage/motivation to fly to Berlin, by myself, with only a chance of meeting up with people I honestly wasn't particularly close to, was a big deal to me and I'm so glad for D&P giving me the courage to do it. Realistically if it hadn't been them it probably would have been another fandom, but as it was I'm so glad it was them. (I kinda wish I'd told them that when I saw them, and really wish I'd thanked the whole team for their work.) It was such a great weekend, with such lovely people, and I mean I guess flying back with D&P was pretty cool too

Except "Uncle Ken" was from 2010 and "Aeroplane Adventures 2" wasn't until 2011.
Unless maybe blowing bubbles on planes is something he did often? Or a life goal he had for multiple years?
