I've often wondered about that too. It's probably been discussed before but his grandparents seem to be a bigger part of his life than his parents. His grandma calls him often and watches his videos, where as his mum seemed surprised that he called her in the bat prank video. Someone on twitter had a comparison video on his behavior with his mum vs with Phil's mum and he seemed more relaxed on the phone with Kath than with his own. Plus he did go to IOM with Phil for father's day....
I think he lived part time with his grandparent when he was younger? My guess is that his actual parents were busy people and his grandparents were young enough to give a helping hand. I don't have that many exact sources for that belief other than bits and pieces from old videos I remember, but the whole thing with Dan reacting to his childhood videos made it pretty obvious that he spent a lot of time there. Also the fact that his grandma was the one with all the old videotapes. And then, maybe irrelevant, but in an old vyou answer about religion, he said he was raised christian by his grandma, so they probably took a great part in bringing him up.

It's hard to guess at his relationship with his family cause he is so privat about it, but he definitely isn't as open and enthusiastic about it as Phil is.

My first thought is he is wearing some sort of star wars shirt. Haha. My second thought is he is cosplaying shrek. I really don't understand Dan's fashion statement most of the time tbh. It reminds me of that ugly potato sack
i think dan looks incredible in baggier tops/oversized sweaters. his jeans are always so tight they are practically leggings, and i think standard fashion rules apply to him--if ur gonna wear tight on the bottom, go loose on the top. if loose on the bottom, go tight on the top. i think that really suits his body shape, since he's a little boxier on top, and his legs are such a great feature. so, i adore the yeezy sweater, love this m&g sweater from today, love his vetements tops, adore when he wears long-sleeve tops with sweater-paws... i'm also just an enormous fan of dan taking risks, wearing more unconventional items, and wearing what he wants to wear.
also, here are the pants he had on yesterday. he's worn them a few times before (i love them)
Wow that gaming video was something I'm really struggling to keep up with and process all this content, let alone post about everything on here too! Who knew we'd have this kind of problem?
Really enjoying it all so far though, I'm intrigued to see how many videos they manage to do in December!

I am so impressed with the content so far and how they are managing to keep it up. I really thought we wouldn't get any videos while they was away but for once it seems like they have planned ahead.
Also I'm living for them playing old retro games and not following the current gaming trends. Can I hope for a HSM Sing It video anytime soon? Lol

I'm really liking the gamingmas(or is it gamemas?? I still don't know) so far! It reminds me of when they when they first started the gaming channel but even more relaxed. Natural bants and some console gaming= from me. I'm really going to miss this when it's over but hopefully they'll actually try to upload on the gaming channel more than a few times a month in the new year!!!
