I'm confused as to why you're so resistant to the idea that they're just making fun of 'bro culture.' You seem to be ignoring your own first instinct in order to now explain their actions in a way that doesn't fit with what basically everyone else is seeing, while also admitting that if that is what they're doing then they're doing it badly? Do you really just love the idea that they're making fun of fans so much you're willing to twist your own instincts in order to make that fit the video?

Isn't it simpler and doesn't it make more sense to just accept that they're enforcing the idea that they themselves aren't bros and will never act like that and find the very idea amusing?

that's kind of mean, though. I'm sure none of us are the type of delusional fans that #nohomo everything because they secretly want a relationship with them, at least none of us active users. But being cynical or not seeing a situation the same way someone else does doesn't make them farther or closer to the "truth", that's implying just as much as those who hate on hardcore shippers, calling them delusional and twisting everything into phan goggle mode.

also if a member changes their opinion/viewpoint/if they flip flop things up and down and left and right, it doesn't matter at all to or change the situation in any way, so there's not much point in worrying about it. Having this forum means that anyone who is respectful and join in and share their words, and also we all come from different backgrounds and upbringings and viewpoints and as far as I've seen here, there is a lot of variety and that keeps it interesting

Really enjoying this uploading every day but today's video was just not for me. I found it kinda boring and the only bit I laughed at was phil dabbing at the end. It's one that I won't watch again.

One thing they've got especially bad at recently is looking at the monitor all the time, I notice it more and more and I find it kinda off putting. They never used to be this bad at doing it.

Let's keep it civil folks

Re: the DAPGOOSE LA. I actually thought it was more engaging compared to the London one. Loved the sniffing part (the regret on Dan's face :D ahha) and also Dan's flip-off behind the screen, when it's actually pixelated in the squirrel photo in the USA version of DAPGO, was a great touch

That gaming vid though... I'm still kind-of in shock What...just...Dan was thrusting on Phil at the end??? (ew thrusting is a nasty word, apologies) Casual butt brushing that goes acknowledged?! BRO MOCKERY ONCE MORE?!? Gay-mingmas is just spectacular, jeeez
Also, ngl, think the grey jumper is sort-of nice on Dan I love his grey YouTube jumper on him too. He suits grey tbh
And Phil's dabbing I actually find hilarious, mostly because I can tell he's doing it for a reaction from Dan, (and there will always be one)

Absolutely LOVED the video Probably my favourite so far from gamingmas

Odd thing I noticed, at 9:18, they clearly refilmed the reaction to the grades, as what they're doing on camera is not what they're doing on screen. (I don't think that made sense but OH WELL)

Keep it coming guys, gamingmas is making me so happy

I'm sorry if I came off as rude , this emoji kind of describes me right now I'm not angry or anything, I guess I just have a sensitive spot for that old as time debate cause it reminds me of people in my life. I get kind of defensive for any camp

the video was cute! My internet sucks right now so I couldn't watch the ls and I had to watch the dance video at 144p :( but better than nothing. I could barely see the ass slap, I'm still even questioning what I saw tbh :? it was all a blur

I like them mocking bro culture! Smash that ideal of fragile masculinity. Destroy the idea of what m/m relationships are like, be they friendly or romantic. "Bro" as a thing is so ridiculous that you can't even take it seriously at this point, you can't help but laugh. Yet it just seeps into society and expectations and the peer pressure caves you in until you act like a caricature of a human being with emotions.

The bro thing wass my fave part of the neww video. If making fun of bro culture - and simultaneoussly their own inability to be anything like that - is a new 'thing' with them I'm SO here for it. Nerdsss. It makes me WWWWISH they're 'jusst friends', simply so the wwworld would have one more great exxample of two male friendssss.

Phil dabbing. And both of them failing to not crack up becaussse of it. ssso preciousssssssss.

I'm glad I was not the only one not into this new video, it just didn't click with me and the bad game's graphics didn't help.

Yes, it's the height discussion again guys, I'm so sorry :gg: It's probably just perspective...but is Dan pretty much as tall as the door into the room?! And aren't standard doors like 6 foot 8?! He'll never stop growing   (For the record, I'm not saying Dan's 6 feet 8, lol. He's too tall for me to bloody picture in my head though )

You mean 's glitchy versions of themselves wasn't top notch graphical quality?

btw

I recall someone mentioning about the movements on the screen didn't match their movements, and yeah I noticed that a couple of times. So I'm almost sure they refilmed some segments but kept the original footage in there because of the game. I also kept getting confused because they were swapped; on the screen vs through the camera. :?

FELUCCA your post was hilarious I just imagined a very excited lil snek typing with its tail

My first post on this forum was on the "If you DON'T ship Phan…why not?" thread.

Today i deleted it because my perception has shifted so much that i can't believe what i believed when i wrote it.
And this all in only a few weeks time.

Mind you, i was not anti-phan or phangnostic, i believed they were together but that there were no romantic feelings.
I feel the opposite now.

Okay I literally don't know who these two actors are, but I fear the real Dan and Phil might be tied up in a basement somewhere because I swear they do something that shocks me in every single video this month!! I loved the video so much omg I don't even need to rehash every funny/cute moment that's already been said but I'm dying with the rest of you after this one. The mocking of bro culture thing is probably my new favourite thing they do, second only to how touchy feely they've gotten but *cough* anyways

:platonic: Agreed.

Tbh, I'm really enjoying this sort of creative awakening Dan has been having over the past 8-12 months or whatever where he's exploring fashion and trying unusual shapes and layers and textures and thinking about how he can express himself. I'm all about it and I can't think of anything he's worn that I have disliked; I've really enjoyed him exploring longer clothing and draped layers especially. I saw a wild Dan in his longer black hoodie with the red text on the sleeve fairly recently and I didn't bother him but he looked so different, really elegant and comfortable with his body and height for once and he looks like he's having a lot of fun with it lately.

Will continue to cheerlead fashion forward Dan Howell

Dan's editing has been really good for the last few videos- is it crazy that videos that they are releasing every day are better quality than some of their videos that come out monthly?

Donating to charity left him with a lot of wardrobe space to fill

But that's true I agree. I've actually felt sorry for guys because women (I use these terms very loosely please don't feel constrained by them ) have much more freedom when it comes to clothes. Layers, drapes, styles, patterns, cuts, lengths, fabrics, it's an endless possibility. Whereas a lot of guys are trapped in a hoodie/t-shirt and jeans combo with different prints on it. The creativity in mens fashion usually is horrifically expensive (I stumbled upon this website that sold a simple denim jacket for 1,5k like what :? ) or it's considered "haute couture" and, unfortunately, "homosexual". I actually WANT guys to be able to express themselves more creatively through their clothes, I don't want kids to feel shoehorned into this generic "bro/dude" ideal and that they can't wear skirts, or draped layers, or "weird" clothes.
