DAN LIP WATCH

Hello Dan and Phil NERDS and welcome to "Sentinel's absolute lack of life". Today we're going to be playing "when was the video filmed?" where we try to piece the timeline going exclusively by Dan's chapped lips. The facts: the only concrete data we have is that Undertale 2 was fillmed the day of the joint LS, 15 December. Everything else is me going janetjacksonmagnifier.gif

Right so up until Bishi Bashi and possibly Dance Evolution we have no idea when anything was filmed since Dan's lips were all fine and stuff (LOT 1):

The Katamari video is questionable because it looks like Dan's lip is healing, however it doesn't make sense timeline wise.

The next video is The Impossible Quiz where "everyone is giving Dan lip balm for Christmas."
- This is the worst his lips look.

After that, we can see them healing, video order: Akinator, GOOGLE FEUD, Slender (LOT 2)

Bubble Bobble is uploaded after Slender and a lot before Google Feud, but Dan's lips look brand new. BB was almost definitely filmed at the start of the month and is part of LOT 1.


Then it is Will D&P Press the Button (plus Dan's sour mood), SIMS - Dab is born and then Kinect Sports, where his lips are once again back to being absolutely fine and is therefore part of LOT 1

And last, Gang Beasts and Undetale 2 which could have been filmed either way, but they look a little more irritated in GB than in U2 so that's how I'm putting it:


My prediction: we are missing a video filmed between Slender and Press the button (the left cut disappears randomly) so possibly expect another video where Dan is exxtra salty.

Dan talks about the obnoxious e and he said is a new google logo font... is the same e as always Danny ... wow a deep "e" discussion is happening, I'm amused. Also Dan said Phil is the e at the end of life, of life in general, of his life, of their lifes, I have questions.

Is a Daannn vssss Phillll, the board is in the back they can't be bothered to show it now, but we know it so np. Also Phil complains about Dan keyboard and Dan start smashing the keys, I feel grateful that he has stopped banging the desk.

I loved the Google Feud Video. It was really entertaining and a bit terrifying.
Dan looked so fond. I don't quite know wether that is news, but Phil looked at Dan as well from time to time, while back in ... June or so People where still talking about the fact that he does very much try not to look at Dan in Videos.
It made me happy. I love it how cute and excited and happy and relaxed.

And also they both looked amazingly good.

Really enjoyed Google Feud! Cute, funny, fond, relaxed. I think it could have been longer. I like watching their thought process.

It's been a little hard to keep up with a video a day and IDB (along with work and irl), but I'm really going to miss gamingmas. Tbh, I was not expecting to actually succeed in uploading every day, but they have and I'm impressed. (And they still found time to socialize some).

I'm very curious to see what kind of schedule they have planned for 2017.

Really enjoyed everyone's timestamps and fancybum your phil appreciation post was amazing

I really enjoyed the video today (I made timestamps but they deleted ). I thought it was hilarious that phil kept guessing weirdest shit to sell like a cat, really phil??! Also Dan teasing phil about his dark mind and then phil joking about knowing all the things sold at a black market Phil struggling to spell and Fan (dan but this spelling error knows what up) shamelessly teasing him was amazing. It's weird that for a long time I struggled to see them as being good friends, everything seemed a but too rehearsed with them and I found myself doubting if they even talk when the cameras are off. Seeing the developments they've undergone is honestly refreshing and I'm glad I can see the true friendship these boys share instead of the scripted bullshit we were being fed in the past.

Also, DvP are my favorite because they of their competitiveness and how it always becomes a hilarious mixture of moaning and cheating to win. I'm glad Phil IS FINALLY catching up to Dan. I agree we will probs have a dan v phil finale.

Add me to the list of people being sad about gamingmas being over, its nice coming home from work and having a video ready for me to watch. I have faith in them but I also expect them to be pretty silent for the rest of December and beginning of January while they're taking their breaks. I also want to thank them for making room in their busy schedules to film and edit all the videos this month and letting themselves be so funny and relaxed throughout.

I have huge hopes for what's to come on their main channels and the future of gaming. add me to the list of people thirsty for a new AP video because I want to see him incorporate a bit of relaxed Phil into his channel. I think he still will be censored to some extent because of his belief that his audience is young and impressionable but I hope to see some different video styles and ideas come out of this.

All in all I've had another great year with the boys and there have been a lot of developments and a new mood they've both gotten into which allows their videos to become more enjoyable. I'm looking forward to what they're planning to do next

Also: on friendmas: the replies under bryony are so cringe and I can't help but embarrassed by how she and mostly all other friends of dan and phil are treated by the phandom. Its saddening to see someone being acknowledged for their relationship of someone else rather then their own person.

I loved that video! It was very laid-back and I enjoyed seeing them fail at guessing a lot of the fills because I, too, am horrible at that game. I did notice Phil and I had quite a lot of the same guesses (I'm not the only one who played along in my head, don't lie to me). What does this mean? Are we meant to be?

Was Dan wearing not just a colourful top (with a disturbing pocket no idea what this tee is), but also light grey jeans? I know he has dark grey but these ones looked lighter and baggier, unless the time was too little to tell

At first I thought they were jeans too but on second glance I think they're sweatpants, not jeans. The right (on the left for us) pocket was sticking out in a very sweatpants-esque way and they look more cottony than denim.

I absolutely loved this video. They were so natural in it, something that has been a great part about gamingmas as a whole but it really shone through in this video. This was my favorite video of the whole series so far, which was hard to commit to because they've all been really great.

A few favorite bits: that sounds vaguely dirty

0:45 -- Their incessant waffle about the Google logo font, why do I feel like they do this all the time? Find one topic and just go for long stretches of time on it and make mile-long lists of inside jokes between them.
2:09 -- "you're going down, mate." "no, I'm good at this." As Joey Tribbiani once said, seriously guys, the trash talk, it's embarrassing.
5:51 -- I'm amazed every time they do this, how they talk over each other and have two trains of thought and still meet at the end with the same joke.
10:39 -- Phil's look is so soft and I'm ruined good bye. Also this whole part of Phil waiting around for Dan's answer with the "10 hours later" "17 years later" title cards, this made me laugh so much.
12:15 -- "sorry for bringing that up, bro. didn't even score any points for it." "that's ok, I'll cry later."
14:34 -- Dan laughing at Phil's once again sad attempt at trash talking

I could highlight all of kuen's post and just say +1 really, but I am eager to see what the recent shift we've seen in their personalities will translate to over on their main channels. I'm really going to miss all this daily content when it's over.
