I didn't find this vid weird at all? Apart from being a bit 'meh' about it being an app (and checking the description to see if it was spon, I must have missed the crossy road boat), it was good. Phil laughing at Dan getting run over immediately (8:20) was probably the highlight (and the genuineness of that reaction leads me away from thinking they planned it? I'm not sure they really have the time or inclination to mess around with re-filming or fully staging something as ultimately meaningless as this but )

They did say that they usually play co-op games and help each other out instead of playing against each other, however, I firmly believe that Dan would be the type to encourage Phil even if they do play against each other.

Crossy Road is one of my favourite iPhone games, why were they so shit at it? Haha, when Phil first recommended it he got like 200 so why so bad now! Shame on them. I really enjoyed this video, I think it might be up there in my top 5. I love Phil's silver chain mail jumper and Dan looks so cute in pink. There is just the right amount of bants in the video but wow they really need to stop checking themselves out on the monitor, it's so distracting.

also, anyone else nosey and wish we saw a glimpse of the text, just for science of course.

Judging by the fact the text came a few minutes after dan bought the elf, I assumed that maybe it was a bank statement like text which is why it was blocked out? But also on that topic, Phil should actually have his phone on do not disturb if he's playing games for the gaming channel. Notifications that pop up while playing can be super annoying for the person playing.

But aside from that, I loved that video! Honestly, Crossy road was a long time coming on the gaming channel. I remember thinking they were gonna play it right after Phil announced he was in the game back in January 2015. Also Dans wearing more color than Phil now, I'm so happy!

Loooved the Crossy Road video!
I was obsessed with this game coughs literally had no life a year back, wow "nostalgia" for how bloody tense it was...my heart was beating a little faster! It's so weird how such a basic game can be so panic-inducing. I hope Phil gets a rest afterwards - his heartbeat seems to get fast easily, wouldn't want gamingmas to end badly (went dark fsr, sorry)
- Such closeness. Phil's head was practically resting on Dan's shoulder for some of it (I literally just clicked a random part of the video for an example timestamp and 4:30. Bam. Where is the personal space?!

Answer: There isn't any

- The "mate" stuff to me felt just like an extension of their "bro" branding bants. And as somebody here said, who unironically calls a friend a "matey mate"?
- Phil winning made my life
- Dan in pink is sheer gorgeousness Shame about how stringent his black-clothes ~aesthetic is, but w/e he likes is fine (Forgot to mention that his £700 jumper is also gorgeous to me - and it's grey! He suits pastels, no?)
- Phil's very blunt "shut up" shouting had me shook (in a good way! ) Be assertive with your demanding partner, Phil, he's a whiny lil shit at times...I stg if Dan was saying all that stuff over my shoulder while playing Crossy Road I'd be so much more riled, lol
- The entire end scene with the board was mega cutemas! Another "I hate you" classic statement from Phil (joining his past totally sincere "I hate you's" and "you're the worst person in the world" comments ) There must be a video compilation of these somewhere right?
- Dan's entire, rather inarticulate speech starting at 6:16, completely left in, was also so mega cute and soft, I just (particularly by the end at 6:30...kayuute).

And just briefly: a few people noted a distinct change in tone towards the middle of gamingmas. Looking at the channel now, personally I'd say Gamingmas Vids "Push the Button" through "Beasty Banggang" (everyone here loved that last video but I found it a bit meh, yep I'm going to be that person, soz) felt a bit iffy closeness-wise, but then it's come all back since "Google Feud" (just imo). I mean, remember when Dan did that prolonged lean-in and look-at-Phil's-lips moment which was totally OTT in Akinator? I bet y'all do, bc I personally lost my shit over that That was some peak new-ground phan we saw there imo, and some mega polishing of the goggles to boot...but that's just me maybe

When I first saw it was an app that I contemplate to download the other day, i thought they were spying on me.

The video feels different because for once, face cam are bigger than the actual game cam, and it makes me so torn between looking at them or the game.

I love everything about the vid. Phil's jumpers looks so good on him because of his vampire skin while Dan's jumper, in which I question at the start grows on me at the end of the vid.

Also love how Dan is so whiny about losing and although Phil give the excuse 'the viewers gonna be mad if I give you this one', I know he REALLY wanted to win too. I can't handle this competitiveness, it's not good for my health.

The last undertale is so good. I remember freaking out a bit when I get to the part where flowey shut down the game, and I've never been so thankful of my habit of not playing anything fullscreen. A bit salty when they don't recognise the New Home entrance to be similar as Toriel's home entrance, but can't be help 'cos they play this in the span of a year. Love them in Asgore battle, agree he was scary with that trident.

I'm looking forward for the final undertale video because I have a fond memory of playing that part so early in the morning lol. (and I think I have talk about this but not sure I did publicly on here or on our old mibbit chat or something)

and okay but dan was so adorable in this one? The phil love in strong in me, but this vid especially has made me love dan because thank god he's (mostly) lost that fake/loud/"articulate" voice he does (idk how to describe it I'm sorry). I watched the "our past life animals" vid and I can see such a difference in dan. now he talks like a normal human with an adorable laugh and a penchant for distracting phil like a good bf/bff. also I am captaining the "dan in pink" fanclub, because that color looks so good on him (I also captain the "phil in dark blue" fanclub but thats a discussion for another day).

11.45 phil's "i hate you" was so sweet to hear after it being a few years since the others

and i got SAP vibes from Phil leading/being firm, Dan being a bit whiny and bratty/naughty but ultimately accepting defeat graciously (10.17 "why am i happy for you?" and giving him hints about the lilypads was cute), and then just the gentle playfulness at the end with the door.

11.31 - it looked to me like a part they may have edited out normally? Dan being a bit physically awkward, going to try and find the edge of the board with his hand to lift it off Phil, then deciding not and to tease him instead, pulling back his hand and holding it in a way we're not used to seeing him do. like his word flubs they've left in this gamingmas that he says he usually likes to edit out.

edit: forgot to squee over Phil having an opinion on dan's clothing at the very beginning. it's interesting to me that it's always been an area Phil feels comfortable sharing (even negative) opinions on when it comes to Dan. Dan has shown he likes the colour pick and will choose it if given an option in the past, so it's made me think he doesn't own much pink clothing (aside from the socks). i wish we could've heard what Phil thought it looked like on him.

My guessing that a few videos during gamingmas may of felt a bit off is because; one they was still on tour and it was probably stressful trying to get ready for that and film a few videos at the same time and two Dan hasn't been well. I don't think it indicates anything wrong with their relationship and people do have bad shitty days.

I also watched from 11.31 and Dan does in fact run his fingers down Phil's wrist area before realising what he is doing and pulls back. just kiss already god damn it
