As for the "date" aspect well some people believe their a couple (or would like them to be) and therefore look at the stuff they do from a romantic standpoint.

You know what, I'll give an actual answer here and then move on. I wasn't just thinking 'movie=date' or 'D&P seeing a movie automatically=date bcphanlol.'

I was thinking 'Phil spent a lot of time talking about how beautiful and magical the snow tonight looked and even after earlier saying he wanted to see all the Oscar movies before the Oscars, his mind went specifically to an emotional romance when asked which movie he'd like to see. He's the one who offered up seeing it tonight and he linked it to 'going out in the snow' even though he said he wasn't even sure if it was out yet. And he obviously went with Dan; would anybody bother suggesting otherwise at this point?

Now to all of that, papierklemmen, you could say: Or they obviously knew it was out and already talked about going to see it (because invited to a screening = practical), therefore it was on his mind, so whatever. Magical snow is unrelated.

To which I say: yeah, could be.

I love that Phil thought travelling 2 hours by train to Manchester was so much effort meanwhile Dan was like--

Also while reading out Phil's dream it seems even more interesting? People yelled at him because he was in the wrong hotel room and he wanted Dan to sort it out but Dan was no where to be found? What an anxious dream jeez. I do think Phil with certain situations is unconfrontational because he doesn't like to piss people off (same) while Dan will pipe up on his behalf (can Phil express an opinion, cinema story where he told people to get out of their seats, ect.) Also for some reason I feel like it could be all the pressure on them regarding hotels during the tour? Like damn #bedgate spares no one lmao. Sorry for bringing this up again I just love dream analysis

I don't disclaim every post I make. If I'm saying something you can generally just assume my perspective is that of someone who sees them as a couple. I said date because I think they're together, and couples going to movies together generally counts as a date to me.

Ehm, I have a question about community-contributed captions on Phil's videos.

How that exactly work? Is it possible to help to change the latest community version?

Days/weeks/idk before, somebody had changed the English captions of PINOF8 and Phil had to intervene. Welp, the same has happened to the Spanish captions of PINOF1, I don't know how long they've been like this. PINOF1 start with "Why are you always so gay?" in spanish, instead of “Why do you always make cat whiskers on your face?”. A friend noticed it and I've tried to fix them uploading a contribution, but they are still the same. Is there any way to help to change them without make a big fuss?

I just went and checked and the subtitles that come up at that part still says 'Por que siempre son tan gays' but the actual (editable) text version already says 'por que siempre dibujas bigotes de gato en tu rostro' so maybe it takes time for an update to go through? I approved that one so hopefully if enough people say it's ok it'll update to the actual video sooner? I don't fully know how that part works, but I'm sure it'll get cleared up soon.

And people fucking with the captions can go fuck themselves. Make your own fucking edits elsewhere and leave other language and hard of hearing people their fucking window to watch D&P properly you fuckwads.

i just went to edit the subtitles and it also said the correct translation on the edit page but not on the actual video. i couldn't do anything else other than click approve (even though i changed nothing) so i hope it gets changed soon. really wish people wouldn't take advantage of that feature, totally disrespectful and unfair on those hard of hearing.

not a doubt in my mind they went and saw la la land together last night. my heart is exploding imagining them walking out in the snow together to get to the theater. for anyone who hasn't seen the movie, it is very romantic and SO beautiful. highly reccomend- probably one of my favorite movies i've ever seen. i can imagine dan loved it (at least i hope, if i know him as much as i think i do). it's a musical and i know dan likes those types of things. ryan gosling in the movie is so dreamy, oh my god -even my straight guy friend who was with me was drooling over him. i can't wait to hear dan talk about it on tuesday.
ALSO ryan gosling plays beautiful piano in the movie, as soon as i got home i began to try to learn it. the score is magnificent. i hope dan talks about it and learns a song from the movie on that new piano he is supposedly getting. gosh i think i would just about explode.

okay thats all i have to add. back to lurking until i have something worth posting about again.

Yay! I see the change too on the video now. I wonder if they can lock them from being edited once they verify the submissions are correct? Or maybe they'd be better off just hiring somebody to do all the captions so trolls don't get their grubby hands on them. Oh well I'm glad it's updated now anyway.

I still need to see it omg! I haven't even seen it but the idea of Deppy seeing it together and the snow is making me a demon phannie I swear to god. (there's so many good movies out though?? Manchester by the Sea was one of my all time favorites after seeing it and I really want to see the new movie with Angela Bassett in it too??)

I'm glad to hear the Spanish subtitles are correct now. There was a campaign a little while ago on Tumblr to caption all their videos, at least in English, so that's probably already covered (and perhaps where people got the idea to mess with them).

What do you guys all think about D and P's activity this year (or really since December. ) Dan putting his live shows up on his side channel, Phil leaving comments in his video on YouTube, the increased tweeting and sharing with fans- do you think it's because YouTube is going to be their main focus this year or do you think they are maybe gearing up for transitioning to something else and want to build their following more?

(And I say this being a subscriber of a year so I have no idea if this was the norm before tatinof)
